What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Christabelle was outside of a muggle store in London, waiting on her adopted sister and their friend Willow to arrive so they could all get their dresses for the masquerade. She had been extremely excited about it and wondered if Nick would recognize her there once he saw her. She didn't want to go in without her friends but she didn't want to wait outside either.

Abbey arrived with a pocket full of muggle cash. She looked and saw Christy was already there. She ran over and gave her a hug. "Hey Christy! I'm sooo excited, I can't believe Hogwarts is having a ball!" she shrieked, hoping she hadn't hurt Christy's ears in the process.

Christy laughed as Abbey practically squealed her delight in her ears. She hugged her back, "I am too." she replied, "I do love a good masquerade!" she exclaimed as she remembered having some good costumes for parties.

Abbey nodded and peered at her red watch. "Hmmm...Willow should be here by now. Do you want to go in, or do you think we should wait for her?" Abbey asked. Abbey really wanted to go in and look at all the dresses, but she wanted to make sure Willow knew where they were too.

"Lets wait on her." she said smiling. "Besides this isn't like its the only store we'll end up at today." she continued to say grinning, "We have to get shoes, make-up. masks. Attention must be paid to this." she said excitedly.

Abbey was so excited now! "I was wondering...what color dress do you think I should wear?" Abbey asked. "Personally I think blue would look stunning on you." she said, smiling at Christy.

I would go with lilac, or lavender." she said thoughtfuly. "With your hair color and complexion it would highlight your beautiful features."

"Thanks!" Abbey said. One of Abbey's favorite colors was purple, so a lighter shade would be great for her. She tightened her jacket around herself, a little bit cold from the breeze. "I wish Willow would hurry-up and get here.." she mumbled.

"So do I." she said pulling her faux-fur lined jacket putting the hood over her head. Most people just wore a light jacket, but since she had been so used to the climate of beauxbatons, people looked at her funnily. "I'm not used to this cold weather at all."

Abbey shook her head, feeling the breeze start to burn her cheeks. "Come on, lets just go inside, I told her what store to come to." Abbey said. Willow was a great friend and all, but she couldn't stand anymore of this weather. She had lived in England all of her life, and she still wasn't used to the cold.
