Midnight Bard

Godric sat in a clearing just outside of Hogsmeade. The chill air whipping around him as he strummed out a mournfull melody on his lyre. His voice the sound of an angel's heartbeat.

When can we be, When will you see,
The darkness my life, Has become with out you.
Where will I stand, alone and broken, scared and forsaken..."

Christy was on her way making her way back to the castle from Hogsmeade when she hear a extremely familar sound followed by an even more familar voice. She followed the sound and saw her cousin and listened to him sing and play not wanting to interrupt him.

"What has turned your music so dark Delk?" she asked finally interrupting the song. She had become a little colder over the last few days which she would wonder if he would pick up on it. She had been pre-occupied with what had happened with Matt to even see what was going on with her own cousin.

Matt was hiding in the shadows. "I quite enjoyed it"He said his voice rough. He stepped out his hood covered his face. "It was excellent he said clapping. His gloves muffled the sound.

Godric jumped hearing the voices. Only after a second did he notice one was his cousin. His wand was already up and he was ready for a fight. "Nothing made me dark, it's just who I am." he said with obviously forced coldness matching her own. His wand trained on the other person. "And who in there right minds spies on teenagers out in a clearing by them selves?" He knew what he was implying waiting to see if something would tell him who this person was.

Christy jumped a little and turned around, having been crucio'd a few days ago made her a little jumpy still, though she was infact getting better about it. Delk would probably have picked up on it no doubt. He always did pick up on her manorisms.

Godric wasn't sure but still put the wand within easy access. "Thank you. For the compliment. I was just remembering some one from a past that has nothing to do with my present, Cousin." he said his voice still withdrawn ready to take flight with his cousin should this prove to be a dangerous encounter.
