Yes, we've had people do that. I've dealt with every single type of spammer in existance the past few days. *sigh*

Well I thought I sorted out the money system a while ago, but it didnt really work out that well, though thats hardly my fault.

The Quidditch idea is pretty good IMO. Though there could be several problems..

I did use it =( *points to reputation and points* but ur idea is OK. Though i prefer the little profile box.

And as for the layout. I guess since our sites become like proboards we may as well change the layout to a proboards one as well..

New people can't buy anything at the moment, which is why they don't use it. I'd transfer all current purchases over, so people who've bought things still have them and then do a mass PM, announcement, link above cbox, tell people on msn, etc. BUY THINGS.

Quidditch...I think it's really trial and error. We could try a match, see what works/what doesn't & alter things for the next match.

But I'm just thinking we need to separate the profile & character profile as they're kinda...mixing IC and OOC which is confusing. What I mean is some people aren't filling it in. Maybe it should be added to the rules & guide once it's all sorted.

Layout...how is that like proboards? Proboards =/= layout. Lol. That layout which I did was more inspired by IPB/IF than proboards, lol. I don't go on any proboards forums at the moment.

OK do whatever you want with the profile and money, I don't really care.

Well good idea actually. Maybe we should change the skin
to If or something, no? Well, whatever, the pips are yet to
be done, mainly the changes.I think I'll re-do the nav-bars
before the theme is changed, gimme the date, okay? That
is pretty everything I covered...Oh yes, Galleons,it's pretty
good in my opinion. I like it =].& I think we could make the
Character Plots a little more pretty or active. Where people
can discuss rather than just apply, get my point?? Quidditch
thing wasn't really clear to me, I'm telling you, there'll be a
lot of problem with the dices roll, not many members know
how to operate that. The former process was pretty okay..

Anyways, I think we need to increase our literacy rate. Ohh
sorry, meant Word count rate. I really hate it when people
give me a one-line reply to 200 word post or something like
that. AND force people to be realistic. Well not really realistic
in this case, I meant you know focus on Harry Potter thing, &
NOT in Muggle things. Ban Mary-Sue's too. And maybe if we
start being a little picky-ish sort for the application then pro-
bably it could help. Hmm, that's pretty all my suggestions...

Quidditch I'll explain properly...later. Basically roleplay and use dices for everything to make it fair. I'll do a screenshot of how to do dice roll & explain to to everyone.
What WAS the former method? I've forgotten. It didn't seem to work that well because the Keepers saved everything and the Seeker caught the snitch before half the team had even RP'd in the match.

Weeell word counts are evil. How about we just get a bit more picky on the short roleplays in applications. How about something along the lines of reply with a post roughly the same length as the people you're roleplaying with AND that gives them something to reply to. I'd rather read 50 words that are decent and give me something to reply to than 200 words of description which gives me nothing to respond to AND means I can't describe anything as it's all been done. Ohhhh btw great quote from someone at an RPG Discussion forum talking about word counts. "But let's face it: if someone is a sucky writer, do you really want them posting more words?" <-- true. I don't want to read 200 words of crap.

Errr well I think I've been ok on apps so far. As long as all fields are filled in with the appropriate length & it all makes sense then I accept it.

Galleons are going to be...ergh. Ok, right. Say start with 200 and then buy necesities in Diagon Alley. Also, would you want to give adults job salaries? Because if we did, then technically we should make them pay for living expenses. Ooorr we could just gloss over that and say they cancel each other out. To make it a heck of a lot easier. We could say give everyone an extra 10 galleons on their IC birthday and on Christmas though, just to make them go up. Just an idea... Alsoo would you want to charge for all shops, Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley & Nocturn Alley? We'd need to have a topic so people could post what they bought & how much it was.

Pips...would be very nice if they were done by next Monday (17th).

Character plots. Yes, discussion! That would be better than applying, methinks. Personally, I think filling in a form with pretty lyrics doesn't really help advance character plots (which is why I barely use them).
