Heartburst

Hayden's night had been sleepless, filled with restless anticipation for the plans he had with Patrick. Now, standing outside the portrait of the fat lady, he was wide awake, his eyes bright and his energy overflowing. Frustration simmered within him at the painting that stood between him and the person he longed to be with. Despite his efforts to appear nonchalant, he couldn't contain the joy that bubbled up inside him.

And then, finally, his patience was rewarded. His face lit up as he caught sight of Patch emerging from the hidden passage, a radiant smile stretching across his features. "Hey there!" Hayden greeted him, his voice tinged with excitement. "Are you ready for Hogsmeade?" The words spilled out effortlessly, the happiness evident in his tone. Today was a day for adventure, for stolen glances and shared laughter, and Hayden couldn't wait to embark on it with Patrick by his side.

Sleep what's sleep? Patch was so filled with excitement it was hard for him to wine down. With thr group of Gryffindors heading out the portrait it was a bif of a wait before he was able to get out to meet the person he longed to see and be with. With a annoyed groan that was followed not by him but other annoyed Gryffindors he finally made his way out and seen Hayden and smiled.

"Hey Hays, sorry took me awhile to get passed the excited third years and the perfect rambling about the rules." Giving a quick kiss he smiled and nodded. "Definitely! I was so excited that I could bearly sleep." Blushing a bit as he told the truth about how excited and happy he was to see him, but anyone could tell by how Patrick's eyes sparkled with happiness.

Hayden's breath hitched in his chest as Patch's lips met his own. Damn, the intoxicating taste of Patch's kiss was like a drug he couldn't resist. "Neither could I," he whispered, his voice laced with anticipation. Hayden's hand extended, offering itself to Patrick as they embarked on their journey down the winding staircase, descending seven flights before reaching the grand entrance of the castle.

Together, hand in hand, they stepped out into the open air, the path before them leading to a quaint village nestled just beyond the protective walls. He didn't care if people were staring at them oddly while some of them were wolf whistling and cheering for them, mind you it was more the older cheering for them and the younger ones looking at them weirdly like they were doing something out of this world. "Hm... glad to know that I wasn't the only one who's excited for today." Taking his hand Patch intertwined his in Hayden's before squeezing it giving a satisfied happy content sigh. "I know it was only a night, but it was too damn long without your touch." Blushing as he admitted that, but everything he said lately to Hayden made him blush like mad and made him a stuttering mess.

Hand in hand with Hayden as they walked down the sloping lawns towards the cozy little village outside the school. His eyes sparkling happily wifh excitement and anticipation he looked like a little third year who seen the village for the first time. He was relishing this moment between them, looking at Hayden he smiled happily at him squeezing his hand.

Biting his lip he looked around the village wondering where to go, their was quite a bit to see and they had all day. "What about Zonko's Joke Shop?" He asked curiously he needed a good laugh today.

He felt complete like his heart and soul finally found their missing piece at last that been missing for so long.

"Thank you love." Kissing Hayden's cheek he walked further into the store his eyes lighting up with excitement and wonder. With each passing day, Patch found himself in adoration of Hayden and someone he was falling in love wifh each passing day. Each step they took and each day they were together it was happiness to Patch that he never knew was possible, he felt safe warm and protected whenever he was around Hayden. A feeling he longed for ages, the feeling was so surreal that his heart fluttered at the thought of it. "Hays look those jellybeans thag make you sound like a lion and stuff." Taking a sample one he chewed it before sounding like a dolphin.

Patch heart swell at his words, of course it was just one word but the significance in it made all the difference in the world. That word may not have any meaning to anyone else but to him; that simple word was everything.

Merlin his laugh was like a beautiful was like a beautiful like a beautiful melody that brings music to his ears. Merlin he could listen to that beautiful laugh for hours and never get tired of it. But then again everything about Hayden he'll never get tired of, from his smile to his laugh he loved everything about him. Brought back into reality at Hayden barking he let out a chortle his eyes sparkling with exhilaration. Holding his side with a breathy laugh once again.

Blushing at his words Patch bit his lip looking into Hayden's beautiful blue eyes. "I could listen to that husky voice of yours and never stop blushing and swooning at the sound of if, it's a beautiful melody that I don't want to eved lose or stop playing." Kissing him sweetly he smiled mischievously at him before popping another jelly bean in his mouth this time sounding like an elephant. This time he put his hand and arm making it like like a trunk extending like an elephant when they make those trumpet like noise with their trunks. After a few minutes he let out a laugh his eyes sparkling with love and happiness.
