PA is 10 Years Old!

This month we are celebrating PA's 10th anniversary!  It's hard to believe we've actually been here so long, and I know most of us can think of a lot of PA memories that stand out for us. So, share with us! What stands out for you?


Plots?
Characters you miss?
Play locations that hold fond memories?
Something that you really had a good time in writing?
What do you think your characters would think of what's happened in their lives in the last ten years?
And--what would you like to see us bring in the years to come?

That's been a bit. LOL. I loved the dueling. And one of my favorite things to write was Khaat's strange friendship with Vincent Majere.

God I can't believe I have been here since 2015
I decided to write here as Beatris cause she was my first character I have ever made here and my first character I wrote using the English language
I can't believe how far I come, my English is better thanks to you guys (or at least I like to think it's better)

I remember using google translate to write every post and how many mistakes I had lol
I have spent really great time here and met great people. Some of them are not here anymore and that makes me sad, I really loved posting with Athena, Aethe, Bella, Anya.. but well, I'm looking forward to meeting new great people

I can't really speak about plots cause I wasn't much involved with site plots
But I'll try to change that in the future

What can I say, I love you guys

I can't believe it has been 10 years! Although I'm not active anymore I figured I'd share my memories.

I remember not long after I'd joined Hallie went on an adventure with Maura to the shrieking shack that turned into a massive group thread with death eaters and all sorts of students appearing. That thread in particular stands out as it was the first group thread I'd done and I was checking PA every hour to see who'd replied.

I also loved Henri Finch - I know she was Jackles' character but she really spiced up Hogwarts, which was good as I did enjoy lots of student drama, be it Bertie in the library after hours or Hallie sneaking to the kitchens or Romeo Zabini (flashback) making enemies.

In terms of plotting anything where Hallie got caught into trouble was good fun and I especially enjoyed the marriage site plot and throwing my characters with those they may not have known, it seemed a really cool way of forcing your character to roleplay with characters they may not come across, even though Hallie and Theodore Rookwood weren't a perfect match I'll always ship them <3

Pansy was really fun to write with, especially during the interviews with Khaat.

Ultimately this was a place for me to explore my creativity and delve into characters and put them in situations and I'm such a people person it really helped me whenever I was on my own over the summer periods.

I know I'm on an unsorted account, but you lot know it's Addie XD So here we GO.

I MISS EMILY. *ahem* My first ever thread with Audriana and Robin, I messaged her going "she's going to interrupt anything he says," not fully realizing you probably shouldn't do such things lol. Of course, she went with it, and WOW. Instant chemistry between the characters. That was when I really stayed. Before that, I was still sort of trying to wiggle my way into plots. I'd joined back in like, 2009 or something, with a totally boring character that I dropped a few months later. And in 2012 I happened upon PA and forgot it was the same site. Luckily, I stuck around that time.

Everybody knows that Keiran is my baby, but I've actually really loved the turnover on my characters. Some didn't finish their plots but they were all individuals that taught me something about writing and building characters and making them realistic. So while I can promise not to drop any of the folks I have now for quite some time, including this account here once he gets sorted haha, I also expect to have an ever-changing list of plots and characters. It's funny, I used to say 'Whenever ____ happens, I'll end up leaving the site.' But I can't really come up with an ultimatum anymore, and that's because of people like Jack, Kitty, Amy, Emily and Kiera. Without our chat group back in the day, I wouldn't have gotten past some of the issues in my non-virtual life, and I absolutely adore all of the folks I've gotten to know through PA.

As much as I miss the people who have moved on, I am very glad to see the more recent, new faces and can't wait to see what they come up with.

If I write something, it'll be pages long.

I've had over 50 characters. I am close friends with several people on this site - I now live with one of them (ayo Addie). I've had ups and downs but I've always come back. I'm thankful for the people and the playground that is PA. I miss a lot of people but it also makes me feel happy because someone leaves and then someone comes and I get to meet new wonderful people all over again.

Thanks for always being here, PA. I have been changed for good.

It's hard to believe PA is 10 years old. I joined in 2010, and have came and went.

One of my favorite memories was The Battle For Grimmauld Place. There have been many more, like when Caelani turned the dark mark tattoo into a flower, The Felix Barker Trial, Finding Grindlewalds horcrux, The Battle of Hogwarts, and of course This is where the healing begins, and a hole in the veil.

I could just keep going but you all get the point.

PA has always been my home, when I need to escape real life, PA is here, welcoming me

So I figured I will write here as my first character on site.
I joined first time back in 2012 and ever since then I have had this on and off relationship. Just at times IRL life stuff takes me away or then I just forget to come on. Well there is many reasons.

Over these five years Cecilie will be may baby girl for sure. Even if she is now not active. It was fun to play her for sure and a lot happened in her life but after so many years and troubles I just lost muse and wanted new start.

I have met so many good and friendly people here. Who have never been really mad when I disappear suddenly without reason really.

This site was my first ever expiernces on English rp site. Back when I joined my English wasnt so good and now it had improved a lot.

Thanks for everyone who have rped with me and literally been there for me. The list is long and yes some of them aren't anymore around. Which is bit of sad.

I can't remember if I have been involved in the site plots or no. I have no knowledge of it. Sorry

I can believe it’s been 10 years, oh my god. I’ve gone MIA multiple times but I’ve always managed to find my way back here time and time again because of the amazing people I’ve gotten to know here.

There have been so many good times and bad, and honestly I’d go on forever if I tried to describe all of them.
