Rogue Headcanons

Look, we all have those rogue and utterly ridiculous HCs. Some might not make it into threads, some might not even be possible because of the PA timeline circumstances. But it's fun to air them out and freak over the ideas even if they never come true.

This may just be a thread of me half-fangirling and half-daydreaming, but obviously everyone else should feel free to take advantage of it as well.

Thus, here's the one that just came up:

I'm watching S4E6 of Castle, which is about a potentially paranormal event. Halloween episode, I'm betting. (As a side note "The room where it happened" is a literal quote from the show. Didn't help my muse.) It made me wonder what Barnaby would do if he saw a ghost like the ones in Hogwarts. So the crazy idea of Barnaby thinking he could be a ghost hunter for a sec? Yeah. That's running rampant in my head.

I swear I ship every character Shylock has ever been in a thread with, with him. Including his own siblings sometimes.

So, this is mostly me being really curious, as opposed to a HC. But I wonder what happens if someone gets a tattoo while using polyjuice potion. Surely it stays afterwards since it's imprinted on your body?

Not necessarily. It depends to what extent Polyjuice changes you. We know it changes your outward appearance, but not things like your thoughts or your voice (I think? It didn't change their voices in the movies, but I think it might have in the books). It seems really inconsistent.

So it's possible a tattoo, being just ink under the skin, would get removed when you stopped using it. Also, tattoos do fade over time and get reabsorbed when you get them done on certain areas, like your fingers.
