Hey there fam! Senona here is my first character here on PA (but by no means my first character across the HP RP boards) & I would simply adore it if we could conspire to create some subplots together for her! A little rundown of who Senona Brânduşa is:
Nona is a very quiet, poised, cold and sarcastic person to anyone who she hasn't opened up to, or trusts enough to (basically, a very select few; her inner circle, & her sister). But that is not to say that, if you make her angry, or if she has something to say, that she will not be a ruthless witch. She has a messed up moral compass, so she has a twisted sense of humor and has an unhealthy obsession with being famous in the Wizarding World - a tad bit of a narcissist, and a spoiled brat. But this said, she has zero prejudice towards anyone of any "blood", as well as Werewolves, Vampires, etc. And when you get close to her, and she drops her guard, or "the act" that she puts on for the public eye, she is seriously the most fiercely loyal, and most passionately caring friend you could ever have on your side. She is the type who would die for those that she has opened her heart to - and the type to kill if you break it. But you wouldn't know it if you aren't close to her, because she walks around with her nose in the air (always putting massive effort, if not too far too much, in to her appearance) like she is hot shit or something. Needless to say, she needs knocked down a peg lol
She was raised by the heir of a prestigious Pureblood Romanian inheritance who turned out to be a squib and a Brazilian Halfblood Witch from Brazil's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Castelobruxo - who raised darling Nona here (and her fraternal twin sister Sousa) as Muggle children until they too received acceptance letters from Castelobruxo. The twins received their education in Castelobruxo - all the while being spoiled and pampered to be "proper" young witches by their father (a billionaire in the Muggle world, but penniless in the Wizarding World), where Senona flourished in Potions, Alchemy, Herbology, & Magizoology. During her holidays and summers away from school, Nona took lessons in combat arts, and with practice during her free time at school became incredibly gifted with a sword and Wizarding dueling (she thinks herself a "warrior" in direct disregard of her father's wishes to groom her as a "perfect respectable young heir" to his Muggle empire. And she has gotten pretty good at it.
Her true passion is combat and potions - but after moving to the UK with her twin sister Sousa to peruse her dream of becoming one of the greats, she needed to start somewhere in her journey to fame - or infamy. Thus, she took a job as an Auror Trainee (a distinguished career that the spoiled, bitter girl dubbed, in her words exactly, "a compromise of her dignity") and earned herself a position on the Foulmouthed Falcons Quidditch Team as Beater. Having been raised in a traditional, religious Muggle family until her acceptance into the Brazilian Wizard's School, Nona is having some serious internal conflict in regards to her sexuality. She is Bisexual, but is having to now force herself to unlearn the bigotry that her parents drilled into her mind as a kid.
So this is where I would like to begin putting together some subplots for Nona here. While she needs the basics (friends, rivals, coworkers, mentor, etc) there are a couple of specific plots that I would absolutely love to roleplay with a couple people if anyone is interested! I want to start with a romantic relationship between Senona and another character, with whom she would slowly fall in love. I was thinking a triangle plot, in which Senona and a Wizard would enter a relatonship after some threads between the two, when imeediately after, Senona would meet a girl that she falls head over heals for. Another plot I would love to start up would be an inner circle of friends to which she truly opens up and drops her "poised, mysterious, cold grump" act. A group of besties.
I think it would also be interesting to roleplay her training as an Auror with some other established Aurors - to RP through a couple of threads her climb to the position of Auror, rather than just saying OOC "yup she trained and she leveled" so to speak lol I think that would be fun. Right now, she is neutral in regards to the Order / DEs but I think, with a bad influence, she could be a fun villain - or, just the opposite on the other side of that coin, with a mentor, she could turn out to be an Order member. This, I would like to just play with, if anyone is interested in either path. Lastly, maybe a few threads with some fellow Potioneers, Animagi, Werewolves (she is not one, but I think she might be a little too fascinated with becoming one if anyone would want to go down that route with me), someone to get in to a duel with - and as always, I am more than willing to brainstorm some other ideas!
