She looked up and waved her wand carelessly at the shelf of books beside them. That was one of the advantages of using the Room of Requirement, of course. So long as it wasn't food or drink, you could get whatever you liked without needing to concentrate too hard.

The book zipped into her hand and she flicked through until she found the page she wanted.

"In 1269, Barberus Bagge unleashed a Golden Snidget - that's a type of bird - during the game and offered a reward to anyone who could catch it," she summarised.

Ducky listened carefully, trying not to allow his mind to wander, thought it was about that time where he would usually begin planning his weekend circuit, or considering what percentage he could get the girl before him to make out with him, or wonder when his next job would roll in. It had been awhile and he was hurting for money.

But he supposed graduation might prove more fortuitous than money now. Though what came after graduation? Who hired a hedonistic imbecile?

He blinked and focused back into the conversation. The Golden Snidget. He had heard about that - had had a job trying to smuggle one out. Damn thing was fast.

"Yeah, I've heard of those. Super rare - there's a huge black market for them. Aren't they really fragile, and really protected? How did they get away with - oh." He has caught up. "That's probably why they're protected now."
