GENERAL APPEARANCE:

Simon is usually found to be wearing whatever he grabbed out his his wardrobe that morning. That being said, he usually still looks pretty put together, mainly because his wardrobe is basic enough that he would have to actually try if he wanted to clash. Which he doesn't. Therefore, it's a rarity to see Simon in anything other than basic sweaters, button-downs, tee-shirts, khakis, jeans, and school robes.

Simon is slightly on the gangly side, when it comes to body type. The only real exception to this are his biceps, which are visibly muscular. Simon has no idea how, because it's not like he works out or plays any kind of sport, but there you go.

EARLY YEARS:
Simon was born to two new parents on a wonderfully sunny day. It had been an easy birth, and Maura Fudge walked out of the hospital with her little bundle cradled to her chest and a smile on her face. Maura and Rufus were prepared for a child, as much as two people whom had never had a child before could be. They had been warned, by friends and relatives, how difficult a newborn baby could be. They'd heard horror stories of being woken by cries the moment one fell asleep, and constant squirming, and never ending screeching. Simon did none of that. Or, more accurately, very little. Everyone around them gushed about what a good baby they had, and the couple would smile over their little baby who looked up at them I'm confusion. Simon would grow up to be a broody child, to two parents who had children because it was the thing to do, and often seemed to prioritize work over their kids. Not that Simon ever appeared to mind.

Simon wouldn't remember much of his young childhood, few people do, but Simon could remember the birth of his siblings. Or, the birth of all his siblings but Wendy. At only a year younger than him, it felt to Simon as if Wendy has always been there, despite knowing that she simply hadn't existed for the first year of his life. Since as far back into his childhood as Simon could remember, the two of them had been joined at the hip. Despite spending a decent amount of time with their younger siblings, whenever Simon and Wendy couldn't be found, they were sure to be up in the attic, playing or whispering to each other excitedly. They, along with a certain amount of assistance from their maid, practically raised each other.

While Simon's childhood could certainly be divided by years, the best way to section-off Simon's childhood would probably be by stories. Every since Simon could talk, he was telling stories. At first, his parents had crooned over his fantastic imagination. Later, they would just roll their eyes. At the beginning, the stories were simple, with basic plots and flat characters. Then, as the boy grew into himself, the same age he discovered that he had very little in common with the other boys his age, his little tales grew roots. Roots that would grow into the hearts and minds of his siblings (for they we're the only ones who listened to him with any frequency) and leave them with wide eyes. One day, when Simon was ten, he told a story that gave Noah nightmares so bad he woke up shaking for days. His parents scolded him for scaring his little brother, and after that Wendy was the only one Simon told his stories to. The rest got scrawled on paper into notebooks, and only got darker.

HOGWARTS YEARS:
Simon was sorted, fairly swiftly, into Slytherin. The boy had been somewhat surprised, at first. He was bright, wasn't he? Shouldn't he be in Ravenclaw, then? But, by the end of the feast, during which he'd introduced himself to a few people but otherwise did little talking, the boy thought he'd figured out his house placement. He was ambitious, if there was something he wanted, he was sure to go for it. Not immediately, but eventually. Content in that, the new Slytherin made his way down to the dungeons and slept well. What Simon hadn't known, was that the hat had taken one glance into the way Simon considered people's potential and use long before considering their emotions, and tossed him straight into the house of green and silver.

Simon didn't make too many friends, in his first year of Hogwarts. He was just a little to quiet, a smidge too standoffish, to make any good friends. There were a good handful of people he got along with, however, people he would sit next to at meals, or share books with at library tables. He missed Wendy more than he'd even imagined he would, cried himself to sleep over it more than once, but he'd done very well in his classes, and that was the point of school.

Then Wendy came to Hogwarts, and was sorted into Hufflepuff. Simon, well, he might have been a bit grumpy about it. He had been clinging to the hope that the two could share a house, had been concerned by how much harder it would be to spend time together if they ended up in different houses. Her sorting made sense, of course, Wendy was happy and friendly and loyal and kind. Simon would call her Sunshine, on occasion. And sometimes, when he said it, there would be a little hesitation before the nickname, a little hesitation where in his head (not out-loud, never out-loud) he was saying "my". Simon found soon enough that there hadn't been much need for his concern, the two didn't spend nearly as much time together as they had before Hogwarts, but certainly more time than most siblings Simon knew of. He didn't care. Simon loved Wendy more than anyone else in the world. The world could deal with it.

The next few years Simon spent at Hogwarts went much the same as his first two. He didn't have many friends, but got by well enough. He had Wendy, his younger siblings, and (strangely enough) Molly Weasley. He picked up smoking, something Wendy didn't exactly approve of and was really Molly's fault in the first place, and did well enough on his OWL's to be pleased with his marks. Which, as Simon was prone to saying, was the point of school.
