Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Herbology: Lesson One - Pod Two Empty Herbology: Lesson One - Pod Two

Second class of the day. The only good thing about that was that she didn't have many classes, and therefore she was close to finishing for the day. The worst part was that she had a lot of time in between classes that she had to occupy somehow and she hadn't figured out how yet. That would come eventually though. Right now her main priority was to set things up for her next class. These students wouldn't be getting triflings, sadly, but they would be learning about the plants that the miniature dragons ate. It was just as fun, right? Not as much fun as havin your own dragon, but still. It was something.

Her second class ranged from second years to seventh years. So would her next class, she assumed. That was quite a difference. Well, kind of. At least this class wasn't one where different years learned completely different things. Some might be more advanced than others, though, in terms of using their magic. Just as well, they would learn something new. Maybe the older students could help the younger ones, that would be a big help. But in order for the students to learn about the plants that the triflings fed off of, they needed to know some things about the triflings themselves.

It would be strange to dive into something like that, without knowing what they were going to be used for. Considering she was going to pair some older students with the first years to help them with their triflings. She just had to see who would catch on quick enough to really help out the youngest students in the castle.

She glanced at the clock. Ten minutes, that was all she had left before the students arrived. At least after this class, she only had one more and she was done for the day. Turning her back to the entrance of the greenhouse momentarily, Yumi reached out to write on the board before her.

Herbology: Lesson One - Pod Two Empty Re: Herbology: Lesson One - Pod Two

Katherine was practically bouncing as she made her way down to the Herbology greenhouses - or, she would have been, perhaps, had she not gone through the past six months as she had been forced to. But Herbology and Potions had always been her favorites, and nothing could really distract from those classes while she was sat there trying to learn whatever she could. Of course, this meant that she often came off like a teacher's pet when she refused to joke around with her fellow classmates.

But then, as Kit saw it, her future could very well rest on those two classes, and she couldn't handle the idea of missing something - anything - that would ruin her chances later.

Looking into the greenhouse assigned for classes, Katherine hesitated only a moment before walking in and finding herself the first to arrive. Habit, of course, meant that she was most always early to her classes. Offering a bright smile for her professor, Katherine moved to sit along the tables, close to the board. She had read about Triflings in the Prophet, though she was surprised to find out that she would be learning about them, too. Sure, only first years would get to have one, but it was probably going to be interesting, anyway.

Herbology: Lesson One - Pod Two Empty Re: Herbology: Lesson One - Pod Two

John walked to the herbology green house and paused at the entrance he saw the professor inside and one student, Kit, Taking a deep breath he pushed open the door and walked in seeing she had wrote on the bard the days lesson 'Triflings' he had no idea what they were.

moving to a free seat he sat down giving Kit a quick smile as he bit his lip at the thought of not knowing anything about this subject. He also had to control his emotions so he didn't change to his wolf form in the middle of class he was still learning about himself in that respect.

He took out his books and a pen and sat waiting for any one else to show.
