Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Knockturn Alley.

Not a common place you would find a Hogwarts Professor, let alone a Head of House.

But Nick didn't teach any ordinary subject. He taught Defense Against The Dark Arts. And he would use the Dark Arts in its entirety to teach the students how to defend themselves against it.

Nick already had been to a few shops, and now he needed supplies for Dark Potions. Which was the reasoning behind him walking into the most well known Dark Potions supply shop in Knockturn Alley.

As Nick walked into the store, he caught his gaze on a shelf that contained exactly what he was looking for, but then he saw a pair of students. A girl. And a boy, just having a casual conversation. But why? They didn't look like bad children. So Nick slowly walked twords the pair of teenagers. "You know, two children in the midst of a well known Dark Potions shop in Knockturn Alley is rather suspicious actually. Could you explain your reasons for being here?" Nick asked in a strict tone. It wasn't often that Nick was strict or cold, and he wasn't. Really he was more concerned about them than anything. Anything could happen in Knockturn Alley.

It had passed but a moment he talked to Faith, a man arrived. He barely had to listen before realizing where they were talking. He had completely forgotten that they were in Daven's shop, so immersed into the conversation... But still, there was no time to waste. He didn't know who the man was, but he didn't seem like the shady people from Knockturn Alley. Not even close.

"Sure. Why should I not? Just because it's not the best place, it doesn't mean it's the worst. I was just walking in to talk with Daven. Nothing to do with her. Er.." He stopped for a couple seconds. "She just wanted to talk to me about something. And followed me in here. It's all."

He internally punched himself. Sure, it wasn't looking bad for Faith, but it sucked for Brice. People just didn't know about Knockturn Alley and found it weird.

"Sorry. It just caught me off guard when you came in. I tend to do that."

Those bright blue eyes widened at the mention of dark magic, and she looked very very interested in whatever it was he had to say about the subject. A pair of eyes like those were the kind that were infinitely full of curiosity- and probably about things she'd be better off avoiding. Probably. She couldn't help herself, though. She had to know more. Her lips parted, as if she very much intended to quiz him on his knowledge of the Dark Arts- but before she could even muster a syllable, she was interrupted by the sound of another male's voice. This of course, sent her reeling into another shy silence.

For whatever reason, she found herself very slowly scooting so that she was standing farther back from the professor- Brice would now be standing somewhat in front of her. Her eyes darted to the potions racks, as if she very much intended to hide behind them. She felt more mousey than ever right now, but there wasn't much she could do about it. She'd been right about to explain herself, but Brice had answered before she'd even gotten an opportunity to. His excuse seemed to be saving her hide, which made her eyebrows nearly raise right off of her face. Why in the world would someone lie for her?
