Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

In the Pursuit of Friendship Empty In the Pursuit of Friendship

Post by Izzy Sauvageon Fri May 02, 2014 7:01 pm

The Library was something of a safehaven for Izzy. Talking to people wasn't exactly her forte, even if they were her friends. She didn't mean to become the stereotypical anti-social teenager who hid away in dark corners, but the Library was always just...peaceful. She had discovered an old armchair in the back right section of the room, probably moved by the Librarian and forgotten about. No one else ever went back there, so she took the opportunity to have some seclusion.

Izzy had brought her charms essay with her, determined to get at least halfway through before she had to go eat lunch. She hadn't yet figured out where the house elves were, so going to the kitchens for a late lunch wasn't an option.

She pulled her legs up underneath her, wedging her knees underneath the arms of the chair. Her paper and textbook sat on her lap, and she let her hair dangle down over her arms. She sighed, and resigned herself to mind-numbing charms theory.

In the Pursuit of Friendship Empty Re: In the Pursuit of Friendship

Ally was all done with her homework for the time being, so she decided to hit the Library for some books to read. Ally's parents always thought it was a waste of time, but her and Alexander loved it. Although n wasn't sure if Alexander read anymore or not, they're not as close as they used to be when they were young. Ally knew that she disappointed her brother when she was sorted into Ravenclaw. Although their relationship faded once he was accepted into Hogwarts though, and once she was sorted into Ravenclaw, it became worse.

In her own little world, Ally headed towards the back of the library to see if there was anything fascinating back here. Alot of people say all the cool things about Potions and spells were in the back. Although she didn't know if that was true or not, she wanted to find out. Walking towards the back, she passed a girl on her way. Raising her eyebrows at her wondering why she was back here alone, Ally shook it off.

"Whoa there right, there's some pretty cool books back here!"said Ally softly to herself. " Who would of known all the advance books were back here?"Ally asked herself smirking. Taking a book down she flicked through the pages. "Really how is the Poly - juice potion considered advance?"Ally muttered to herself.

In the Pursuit of Friendship Empty Re: In the Pursuit of Friendship

Izzy originally ignored the footsteps that came towards her little corner. Occasionally people came back here, but they never talked to her. She had gotten about ten words into her second paragraph when a voice broke her concentration. She snapped her head up, and saw a girl pulling a book off of the shelf. Izzy was confused as to why the girl had her back to her, but she quickly realized that the girl was talking to herself. Muffling a small giggle at the girl's mutterings about potions, she unfolded one of her legs and let it dangle.

"The only reason they're considered hard is because they take such a long time to make. The ingredients aren't actually too hard to put together." Izzy smiled a little. She'd already read the book that the girl had picked up two weeks ago, when she had no homework and was incredibly bored.
