Welcome to Potter’s Army

Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

1 PM Meeting Empty 1 PM Meeting

(OOC: Hit, this would be set after he meets Nessa. For reference. So after the holiday break)

Her lunch meeting had felt painfully long, but as Ana Levski started her walk back down the hall and towards the Guidance Office, she half wanted more time before her next meeting. It was her last day, though, and very little could keep her from starting the meeting on time. If either student were late, she would be rather put out. The sooner the meetings were finished, the better.

She would be free, for the first time in ages. And that in itself was a rather amazing idea. Smiling to herself, Ana unlocked the door with a few minutes left until her one o’clock meeting. Maybe the students would even be early. That would be brilliant, she mused. Leaving the door ajar, Ana rounded the desk and settled behind it.

Once her coffee mug was placed in its usual spot on the desk, her fingers reached for the required files that matched the two she expected to find in her office. At the very least, she could hope that the students were calm. A Hufflepuff and a Ravenclaw. Perhaps they would be sensible and go along with it. But then, people rarely were in these meetings, she had found.

Sighing, Ana flipped through the files as she so often did. It was then, she realized, that her reason for doing so all along had actually been rather rational. She had been looking for the bits of their applications that suggested that they would work together. More often than not, she hadn’t found anything that stood out. At least she wasn’t the person assigned to match people. Though, perhaps, if she had been, there would have been less discontent. Out of everyone who had applied, she had only seen perhaps four couples matched with their preferred partners. Merlin help her, but she hoped these two students at least knew each other.

Darcy E. Deas, the queen pirate, the girl who did not know how to speak for longer than thirty four seconds without cursing, who kissed random men near boats because you only live once, the girl who had once boasted four T's in her classes, the girl who had long professed that she was sure to marry the sea, was now being summoned to the school guidance office to be paired with a man (ahem, a boy) that she was expected to marry and procreate with, because she and her peers were the only hopes for preserving the magical lines.

Merlin save them all.

Darcy had already contacted Bryce, adamantly insisting that he do something about this before she was condemned from ever getting back on her boat again - whoever had heard of a married teenaged couple of pirates? No one. So, she was not going to let herself get kicked off the boat so she could raise the brats of some acne-ridden hormone-driven fool. She liked boys, yes, but she loved the water. She had some tricks up her sleeve to get out of this, but she could not help but hope that Bryce would rescue her like old times. He owed her anyway - she had done the saving last.

She burst into the guidance office with little introduction. She put her hands on her hips and then slowly circled her arm until she was pointing at the woman. "Oi! Can we cancel? I have me a handsome bastard that's coming to bail me out of this arrangement mess and I don't want to waste anyone's time."

1 PM Meeting Empty Re: 1 PM Meeting

He didn't have him for this. Not now.

A few months ago, Dylan would have been scared shitless about this. He would have been freaking out that he was being married off to some random person who he probably didn't know. But right now his only concern was that he didn't have time to be there. He needed to get back to Moira with the information she had requested of him.

He did have one other concern though. One he didn't think would bother him as much as it did. Who was he going to be paired with? He wasn't scared, he just wondered if it was going to be Nessarose who he was going to be matched with. He honestly wouldn't mind that, but maybe she would. After all, he had kind of ruined her life in a way.

He doubted she wanted anything to do with him and that honestly hurt for some odd reason. Sure, he was interested in her but it wasn't anything that would make her important to him. Still, he couldn't shake the feeling of guilt he had from turning her. He mentally slapped himself for even thinking about the guilt. He couldn't be feeling guilty right now. He shouldn't even know what guilt was anymore. Not after all he's done to help the pack.

He walked up to the Guidance Office, hoping to get this over with quickly so he could return to Moira as soon as possible. But maybe in the process, he could make a deal or something that would get him out of marrying whoever he was matched with.

He walked in, felt a little disappointed when he saw his match and his eyes immediately turned to the woman who had arranged the meeting. "Is this going to take long? I've got somewhere to be." he stated immediately, sitting in the chair next to the girl.
