I've followed all the topics involved with the Salaries and Galleons so I generally get e-mails within minutes. If you're not comfortable messing with it all, just leave it for me and I'll do it.
"Getting Your Salary"
In this thread, people can post once a month to get their Salary, if they don't have a vault, create one. After you've added their salary, just post "Added" or something to that effect.
Vaults -
In the personal vaults, there should be a list of transactions, if you add galleons post like this
X Galleons
Added - Reason - Your name - Date
Each member gets 100 galleons for start up.
if you remove galleons for a purchase post like this
X Galleons
Deducted - Reason - Your Name - Date
At the bottom of that post there should be a "Total Galleons - X Ammount" Update that each time you edit the vault to keep a running total.
Never delete a transaction, just post another one under it.
Shops and stuff -
There should be a "Buy your X" in each shop, I've asked the shop owners to create topics like this. I've added them to the canon stores like Quality Quidditch Supplies and some others.
There is a form for the members to fill out saying what they've bought.
What you do with these is, take the items they buy and add them to their 'trunks' which can be located in their character profiles. You can do this without going to the admin control panel by clicking on their name and going to their profile. if You hover your mouse over the "Trunk section" a little icon appears, click on it and you should be able to edit that section.
After you've added the items to their trunk, go to their vault and remove the amount of galleons the items cost, then update the total.
We can add random things they can buy as we go, like opening a "Graphics Request" forum in the OOC section, members can open their own "Shop" and make graphics for other members and earn galleons for it.
Another thought is, if someone breaks the law, the wizengamot can fine them. and things like that. Let the ideas flow <3
