What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Always Clean Up Your Own Mess - Page 2 Empty Re: Always Clean Up Your Own Mess

Post by Michael Tremaine Fri Nov 22, 2013 1:45 am

"You idiot," Michael glared at Thaor. "The reason you don't remember him is that you didn't give a damn about him for most of his childhood. Look at me! I didn't get this gray hair overnight. Its 2026 now. Voldemort stole the elder wand almost 30 years ago. The only thing in Dumbledore's grave is Dumbledore."

Michael noticed that his lookalikes had not stood still One of them was furious. One of them simply didn't seem to care that the powerful dark wizard was leveling a wand at anything that moved and most things that didn't.

Michael looked at the young auror. There was much she didn't know. He was hoping that she had a lick of sense about her. He tried to motion to her to hold. He didn't want her arresting anyone right now. Du Hunt was not the threat. The life-threatening risk was Thaor Elldir. Not Du Hunt. Du Hunt was actually working to help Elldir from killing any more.

The rogue "Michael" simply walked up to the older Elldir in a blind rage. He grabbed ahold of Elldir like he was weightless and slammed him into the stone gateposts of the castle, hoping beyond hope that he would kill Elldir in a single blow.

Michael sighed heavily. He had been hoping that it would not come to this, but he didn't move to interfere to stop it. He looked at Thaor Jr.

"You have no clue what's going on here," Michael said to him. "You would do well to just wait."

"You're not going to hurt anyone tonight, Thaor," Michael said to the older man. "He's going to protect your son--from you."

Post by Thaorson Ian Elldir Fri Nov 22, 2013 1:57 am

Thaor Jr. tried to dive out of the way, but it was too late, his father's spell slashed deep gouges into his chest, and arms, the force of the blow sent him flying backwards through the air.

He hit the ground head first, and the impact knocked him out. He lay there unconscious, and bleeding very badly.

~~~
Before Thaor Sr knew what was happening, one of the Michael's attacked him, and slammed him into the gate post, his back took most of the hit, but he became very dizzy and disoriented.
GET OFF OF ME! Thaor yelled as he pushed the faux Michael off of him and stumbled through the hole he had blown in the gates.
You'll all be fine if you stay the hell out of my way! I am getting that wand! He said as he turned to the new professor who just came from the castle. Bombarda Maxima! he said aiming at the ground just beneath her feet.
One of the Tremaine "clones," the second "Michael", went to Thaor Jr and carefully cast the Vulnera Sanantur to reverse the Sectumsempra and stop the younger Elldir from bleeding out and dying on the ground.
Marcus was not going to let the professor die unnecessarily. He leveled his wand at the woman and fired. "Arresto momentum!" he said, determined on keeping her from falling to her death.
The other Michaels raced after Thaor Sr., all of them firing some sort of expelliarmus or petrificus totalus spell.
"Crucio!" Kate's voice roared, in utter outrage, firing at Thaor. Michael was stunned that Kate didn't hesitate to fire on Thaor to try to stop him from getting further onto school grounds.
"You've killed hundreds! You've ruined countless lives!" Kate was livid. What Thaor had done just to her own family was unforgiveable. What he had stolen, what he had damaged, she didn't believe they would ever get back. And she would never, ever forgive him for what he had done to Robert. "You don't deserve to live! I want you dead! Just hurry up and die, would you!"
Always Clean Up Your Own Mess - Page 2 Empty Re: Always Clean Up Your Own Mess
Post by Carter Griggory Fri Nov 22, 2013 2:38 am
Carter had been camping with Sam and Austin.Carter had no idea of the madness that was going on in Hogsmead.Even less that a dark wizard had breached Hogwarts.Jamie was there and so were many more students.
Jamie's head of house had informed them what was going on.The first thing she though about was sending out an S.O.S to his brother since she knew he'd gone camping.She knew she had to send him a warning immediately.Her patrons had taken the same shape as Logan's, an eagle.
Carter saw a silver eagle approaching him, he didn't know who it was until he heard it's message.Jamie had sent him the patrons to signal him he had to get to Hogwarts ASAP."Sam, duty calls.Take care of Austin."He said to Sam, who replied"I understand, go now."Carter dissapparated with a crack.He apparated in front of the Hogwarts gates.He saw Kate Lupin a woman he'd seen in the hospital the night her daughter was attacked attacking a man he didn't have the minimal idea who he was,a five men that looked exactly the same, one helping an injured professor and the others surrounded the man Kate Lupin was shouting at.Then he looked back and saw that Hogsmead was burning.He ran towards Hallie"Do you know if the students are safe?"
Always Clean Up Your Own Mess - Page 2 Empty Re: Always Clean Up Your Own Mess
Post by Katrina-Carlotta Du Hunt Fri Nov 22, 2013 3:02 am
Katrina-Carlotta dodged the stunning spell sent at her. While the man hardly seemed to be an unskilled duelist, it was obvious that his abilities were being effected by his insanity. The witch had yet to determine if this was a good thing or a bad thing, however. The fact that he was obviously crazy would certainly prevent him from thinking logically in a fight, but his insanity and anger might fuel and maximize his power. The woman could only hope that they'd be lucky.
The European heard a man, whom had be related to Elldir judging upon his appearance, call out to others that they should go after her. Could the idiots not see that she was trying to help them? Honestly, she was on their side. For now, anyway.
Scanning the area for someone whom she could come up with a plan of attack with, Katrina-Carlotta found herself incredibly disappointed. The only Death Eaters she could see were a couple of brainless goons whom had appeared upon feeling their marks burn. The dark witch could only hope that more Death Eaters would arrive soon. At least, and the woman never thought she'd think this, there were Order Members around.
"You are accomplishing nothing!" Katrina-Carlotta shrieked at the madman, trying to draw his attention away from the school and back to herself. Firing off two curses in rapid succession, the assassin prepared herself for a duel.
Always Clean Up Your Own Mess - Page 2 Empty Re: Always Clean Up Your Own Mess
Post by Scorpius H Malfoy Fri Nov 22, 2013 3:25 am
Scorpius Malfoy was having a good day. He'd finally found and hired a competent manager for Honeydukes, something that had taken a total two weeks.  Apparently, he was rather picky. He had spent the last few hours just hanging around his store, snacking on liquorish. If he hadn't already been in a good mood, the liquorish would have done it.
Then he heard screams, and his Dark Mark began to burn. He'd been about to apperate, when his shop caught fire. He'd never had a good mood turn sour so quickly. Scorpius, along with his staff, spent the next few minutes attempting to put out the flames. It wasn't easy, and they'd have some serious repairs to do, but at least the entire building hadn't burned down. Or at least, that's what Scorpius was trying to tell himself. He had never been very good with positive self-talk.
Leaving his staff with very strict directions to protect the store, Scorpius finally turned to the chaos happening right in front of the Hogwarts Gates. It took him a moment to process exactly what was happening, with all the people and curses, but after a few moments of observation it became obvious enough. Thaorson Elldir was there, had thrown the Dark Mark into the sky, and was now trying to get through into the Hogwarts grounds.
His anger tripled. Not only had that man hurt his shop, he was also trying to get into Hogwarts. That was certainly not alright with the Death Eater, his sisters were in the castle. Sprinting towards the chaos, faster than he'd run in a long time, Scorpius spotted Katrina-Carlotta. Skidding to a halt not twenty feet from her side, the blonde quickly made eye contact with the assassin.
After a few moments of silent conversation, the Malfoy heir tore his eyes away from hers with a swift nod and regarded the Order Members with narrowed eyes. He wasn't the best duelist, but if the European needed someone to watch her back while she took down the madman, he could do that.
Always Clean Up Your Own Mess - Page 2 Empty Re: Always Clean Up Your Own Mess
Post by Marcus Belby Fri Nov 22, 2013 4:14 am
Marcus, still looking like Tremaine, saw the numbers of people there mounting. As he worked to try to keep the professor from falling to her doom, he began to get anxious that it would all get out of control.
He saw Du Hunt there, Cooper, Griggory, and what was surely a Malfoy.
"Du Hunt!" Belby shouted back to her, hoping she was as sharp with sounds as she was with sight and might recognize his voice enough to trust him, even if he did look like Tremaine. "We're only after the crazy guy. Not each other."
He saw Brian look up from his work on Thaor's son. Brian spoke quietly to the two Death Eaters and the two aurors.
"For God's sake, don't kill him. We have to take him alive," Brian said, urgently trying to keep them from killing him. Without Thaor alive, Robert didn't stand a chance of recovering.
Always Clean Up Your Own Mess - Page 2 Empty Re: Always Clean Up Your Own Mess
Post by Thaorson Kam Elldir Fri Nov 22, 2013 9:58 am
Thaor quickly realized he was vastly outnumbered in this whole ordeal. He had to do something to buy him some time. He drew a line between himself and the others and cast fiendfyre to seperate them. He heard Kate cast Crucio and didn't have time to react, her curse hit him square in the chest, sending excruciating pain throughout his entire body, and it knocked him off his feet, mere seconds later the jinxes that the several Michaels cast flew inches above his chest.
He quickly got to his feet, it appeared the fiendfyre would occupy them for now. Accio Broomstick he said, hoping it'd work.
You can't stop me, allow me to get the wand and no one else will be hurt tonight. He yelled at them.
Take me alive? So they won't attempt to take my life, their second mistake this evening. Thaor thought to himself.
Thaor looked to his left to see a broomstick flying towards him, he quickly mounted it and flew off towards Dumbledore's grave, sending randomly aimed Avada Kedavra's towards the group behind him.
~~~

Thaor Jr regained consciousness in time to see that one of the Michael's was healing him, and that his father was sending killing curses towards the group through the fiendfyre. He tried to sit up only to be greeted by severe pain, he pulled his flask of firewhiskey from inside his cloak and took two big gulps.

Thaor stood up, brushing off the Michael that was trying to keep him still. Keeping the students safe is more important than healing me to 100 percent. I'm fine for now, the bleeding has stopped. he said as he began to battle the fiendfyre.

Always Clean Up Your Own Mess - Page 2 Empty Re: Always Clean Up Your Own Mess

Post by Hallie Cooper Fri Nov 22, 2013 11:05 am

Amelia had been blasted back from her feet yet landed rather pleasantly. It appeared someone had helped soften her landing and she was grateful, who knows what shape she would have been in had they not helped. Attempting to get up to her feet she looked to her left and saw that her fellow Professor had been hit with some sort of curse.

Blood was seeping from him due to the sectumsempra curse. She was no expert when it came to curses but she knew her healing charms. Crawling across to him she traced her wands over the wounds but it seemed one of the Michael's had already gone to do that.

AVADA KEDAVRA!

Amelia screamed as the wizard flew overhead casting the killing curse in the direction of the team outside of the gate. It whizzed through the flames and out of sight.

Turning around she saw him travelling further on his broomstick 'No!' Amelia cried as she flicked her wand at the broomstick, 'Immobulous!'

---

'NO!' Hallie cried as she saw her Mother blasted off of her feet. How dare he attack her Mum! How dare he burn down Hogsmede, attempt to break into Hogwarts and attack her Mum. Hallie pointed her wad in Thaorson's direction. 'Incarcerous!'

Ropes fired like a jet from the tip of her wand, narrowly passing Thaorson and wrapping around the winged boar instead.

Hallie's eyes widened as she saw Kate send the torture curse at the enemy, who wriggled in pain for a moment before standing back up, waving his wand and summoning a broomstick.

'They were.' Hallie replied to Carter, not feeling the need to keep him updated, he'd get the gist. As Thaorson began to fly away Hallie ran after him before-

A flaming fiend of a tiger had pounced on the ground before her Hallie, roaring in her face. Quickly falling to the ground she watched as the tiger pounced over her head.

Thaorson was dangerous, even more so than she had expected. 'Look out!' Hallie cried as she clambered to her feet and began to duck and dodge the flames of a gisnt snake that seemed to be coiling itself around the group trapping them in a fiery circle.

Post by Michael Tremaine Fri Nov 22, 2013 12:37 pm

"Ozzie! Go! Go!" Michael shouted, watching Thaor mount the broom and fly off. Then he looked at the others. "Stop the fiendfyre before it destroys the school!" The clone of him that had been standing closest to Thaor apparated out. There was no question where Thaor was going. He was going to Dumbledore's grave.

"Michael!" Kate was frightened for what she was seeing. "Go after him! We'll come when we get the fiendfyre handled! Don't let him deal with Thaor alone."

"We know where he's going, Kate," Michael said. He turned to the others. "Don't be fooled. He won't hesitate to kill every person on these grounds if he has to, and he is very, very capable of it. He's extremely powerful. Don't underestimate him. Let us buy you all a bit of time to deal with the fire. We're going to let him go try to find what he wants." Michael apparated out to go after his friend and Thaor.

"Professor Cooper," Marcus said. "You will need a protégo horribilis to shield the castle and the students inside. You will need some assistance to cast a spell that large. Hallie, Griggory, Malfoy--do you know the spell? Can you help the professor shield the castle to save the students? Du Hunt--can you help us stop the fire?"

Marcus and Kate and Brian began casting the counterspell to try to stop the fiendfyre. It was not a quick spell. It took a bit of time, but it had to be done. Unless the fiendfyre was stopped, it would burn down the castle and every student inside.
