Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

This never freaking comes up in posts, AND I AM SO GLAD IT HAS COME UP HERE.

Fred's actually quite adept at a number of Muggle pursuits. Perhaps he doesn't take to them as naturally as he does Wizarding stuff that he's grown up doing (hell if he'll admit that though)- but his time in the Americas has equipped him well with mad video game, Muggle gambling, and driving skills, among a number of other things. Speeding down highways, skidding around sharp corners and adrenaline filled chases included. Yes, the increasing number of things in the list of stuff he's good at continues to be annoying. He's bad at plumbing related matters XP

Twice, but she's constantly wondering what love really is. So far, it's been incredibly temporary, and that doesn't seem right or fair.

If your character could change one thing about their appearance, what would it be?

Jack has her little ring of family, and then she has people who she probably feels closer to than she actually is, i.e. Kieran, Oliver, Albus, and Maddie.

Who has been the most influential person in your character's life thus far?

No one knows much of what Molly did during her year abroad at Durmstrang. While there, she witnessed the severe abuse of Reid Dixon, only really recognizing it for what it was when he showed up one day literally missing a part of himself. It's the only time she's ever cried that she can remember. She came back to Hogwarts and immediately befriended Margo, who had annoyed her (and everyone else) and took up photography. She likes the idea of documenting injustice.

If your character had to enter into some sort of witness protection program, was forced to relocate, change careers, change identities, and never see their family again... but they were allowed 3 specifications for their new life, what 3 things would they ask their new life to have/reflect/etc?

1. Wealth
2. Updates on her mother's health.
3. A chance to put her talents to good use.

Strangely, class wouldn't make it into the top 3. The hardest thing hands down would be leaving her mother behind. But in a way, I think she'd value the fresh start and independence.

What has been the hardest failure your character has faced to date?

Chase's death. A lot of other things in her life she admits she didn't have full control over (or would probably do again) but she still feels 100% responsible for Chase dying.

Definition courtesy of google:

refined
rɪˈfʌɪnd

adjective: refined

  • elegant and cultured in appearance, manner, or taste.
synonyms: cultivated, cultured, polished, civilized, stylish, elegant, sophisticated, urbane
    antonyms: boorish, coarse

  • developed or improved so as to be precise or subtle.
  • with impurities or unwanted elements having been removed by processing.

Oh look at that, it even loosely encompasses her arc xP

Is there an object your character would fight to the death to get/keep? What is it?
