Time after time

Cecilie wanted to have some fresh air so she ended up walking on the grounds. Soon she saw the The Great Lake, she was heading towards it actually. She just liked to hang out there for some reasons when she was outside. Cece did sat down on the grass and looked at the lake.

She just didn't have much to do lately. So many of her friends are busy with their own things and they don't have time to hang out very much. So the gryffindor girl feels so lonely right now.

When she looked around she didn't see anyone here right now. She looked back at the lake and sighed. She liked company more than being alone actually. So she wished that someone could come her and talk with her.

John was at the lake he was trying to practice his wand movements and failing . This was the third time he'd tried. “I'm going to do this “ he kept saying over and over but he stopped when he saw a girl walking down to the lake. Feeling it was time he stopped he slipped his wand back in its holder as he walked over to her . “ um hey you okay?” he asked “I couldn't help notice ya kinda look a bit down?” he said knowing and waiting for the slap or the older boy friend to come and knock ten bells out of him for talking to their girl. He saw by her uniform she was a Griffindor girl and he smiled.

“ I thought you Griffindor were all adventurous and stuff?” he said brushing his hair out of his eyes “ so what's so bad to get you down?” he couldn't understand why she was a low as she was “ I'm sure its not all that bad” he glanced around still thinking she must have some guy around.

Cecilie kept looking at the lake, since she had nothing else to do right now. She could have done something else put she didn't have just any spirit to do anything else. She just was quite down right now since she didn't have anyone with who she could hang out. When one boy came to her and talked with her, she looked at him. Cece didn't say anything for awhile, she just didn't know to what to say. "Heya, I'm okay," she said with fake smile, at least she tried to smile.

"I am but not right now since there is nothing much to do alone and it's boring alone," she said then and it was true. She didn't like to do very much things alone. There is very less things what you can do alone and what is fun. "My friends don't have time for me, busy with their own things," she then added and that was reason why she did feel little down. Cec saw that boy is glanced around but din't say anything about it. "You are from Ravenclaw right? What are you doing here?" she asked then from him. "But way i'm Cecilie," she then said her name too then, she just wanted to have new friend i suppose.

John sat down on the grass close but not too close by her and listened carefully to her talking he chuckled and nodded “ ah, but at least you have friends for them not to have time for you, now if I was your friend, I'd be there for you every time you wanted to talk or what ever.” he said thinking of his own lack of friends he smiled hearing her tell him her name “ John , John Walker” he said and smiled to her. “Nice to put a name to the face Cecilie.” he looked back at her then around the grounds again.“ Say you don't happen to have some big muscle bound boyfriend do you, that's just waiting to beat me to a pulp just for talking to you would you? “He glanced around the area once more.

Still seeing nothing and nobody around he lay down on the grass his arms behind his head “ I have to say your talking to me and I'm listening so go ahead.” he said turning to look at her in the warm sun. “ not like I got any place to be anything soon anyway so let it all out” he said and lay quiet waiting for her to start talking.

Cecilie did listen what then John said to her. She began to laugh for awhile when she asked does she have muscle bound boyfriend. Soon she stopped it and looked at boy. "Yeah i would like to have someone who could be there when I need him or her," she said then quietly. "It's nice to meet you too," she said then. "I don't have any boyfriends right now. Never had any. So you don't have to worry about it that someone gonna beat you up since that won't happen for sure," she said then to him and was totally sure about it won't happen.

"Em okay, I can tell you about my problems or worries," she then said to him. "It's good to have someone who can listen me and doesn't have to go away for somwhere else."

"You can say my friends really very much don't care about me. They did even forgot my birthday, which one was in May. They still haven't congratulated me, seems like they totally gave forgeten it. It's first time ever when they forgot it," she said quietly and yeah she did spend her birthday alone mostly. She did get letter from her family but that's all. "I also miss little bit my family, I haven't seen them already awhile, last time was in Christmas," she then added and looked back at the lake. She was little bit sad about it all but most of times she tried to act like she doesn't care about it. Mostly around people. "Also when ever I try even talk to them they push me away or say i'll talk later. And it has been like that already days. I don't get what did I do or why I deserve it," she added then more. She didn't began cry since she don't cry so easily, it have to be more sadder things to her. Like someone close to her died or so.

Jon lay and listened to her when she began to cry he sat up and looked at her moving closer he placed his arm around her “ Hey its okay if they were true friends they would not have stopped , I know I wouldn't “ he said “ Not that I have friends to stop talking to in the first place.” he said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his clean white dragon monogrammed hanky, folding it he wiped her tears from her cheek and smiled. “ Here “ he said offering it to her “ look you did nothing, they probably had there priority’s wrong” he told her hoping he was making sense to her “ look I'm only a third year and a bad one at that, you know I blew up a cauldron in potions class,” he told her hoping to make her smile even a small one “the room turned blue for several days after” he looked back at her as he moved to slightly face her.” look it might not mean anything, but I'm here all the time, my dad is always doing something and is out the country so I feel I practically live here, well if you ever want to just talk come and find me, I'll listen, if you don't mind the odd curse word or toad hopping past.” he chuckled.

“ I know your a year ahead of me but I do hate to see a beautiful girl cry like this” he used his thumb and brushed away her tears that had run down her cheek. “ come on cheer up please” he asked feeling something for her he actually liked her and wanted to get his hands on those who had made her cry.

Cecilie didn't realize even that she had began to cry. When boy did take his hanky and wiped her tears away, it was time when she realized it. "I guess you're right," she said and even if she wanted stop she couldn't. Cece did take that hanky then from him. "Thanks," she said then and tried to dry some tears but soon realized it was useless right now she did late her tears fall. Soon she will stop crying. She did smile little bit after that story. "I'm good at it so I never had such accident before," she said then.

"Thank you for listening me and being there," Cece said and boy wiped her tears again but this time with his thumbs. She didn't mind it. "I don't like to cry and actually you are only one in school year who even has seen my cry. I don't show my emotions usually very much, even doctors doesn't know why," she said. "It's first time crying after years, she don't tell anyone that I cried," she then added and she wiped her tears away with John's hanky. For some reason she suddenly even hugged boy for no reason, i suppose she needed it.

John smiled as she spoke and thanked him for listening “ hey its what friends do, well true friends anyway” he said he was a little taken aback when she hugged him. Nervously he hugged her back hoping not to be doing anything wrong. He looked down at her and chuckled softly.“ like who would I tell?” he said “ remember, billy no mates here.” He pointed to his chest and chuckled again. He kept his arm around her as he moved to sit next to her his arm still around her shoulders. “ cry away I can live with a wet shoulder.” he smiled at her as he looked at her.

“ Hey, I can try and make some ice cream” he said hoping to lift her spirits a little” well it will be ice cream or mud that happened last time, not sure why” he said and rubbed the back of his neck in thought. John shrugged his shoulders at the memory and chuckled.”So you feeling any better?” he asked “ seems funny a third year comforting a fifth year , but hey I'm not conventional” he added pulling her to lean on his shoulder. “ you want to stay here coz I think a snail crawled up in my trousers” he said and shivered reaching back and pulling out the snail. “ Hey mate that’s not a place you want to be after I ate beans this morning,” he said chuckling.“ he's getting a reprieve “ John placed it under a bush close by.

Cecilie did listen what John said. "I quess yeah," she said then and she began to cry agqin. She looked at boy for awhile then she rested her head on boys shoulder, which one was soon wet.

"I love Ice cream," Cece said with smile then and looked at him. "Sure you can try to make it," she added then. "Still you can try, I hope it goes better this time," girl told then. "I'm fourth not fifth yet. I don't mind having friend who is boy and younger than me," she said. "I do feel little bit better already," she then added with bright smile. It was too rare to her to smile actually. She then was pulled to lean on John shoulder. "Snails, I don't like them very much," she said and did not look at that snail. For some unknown reason she doesn't like them.

John laughed softly and nodded “ yeah, I'm not keen on snails ether especially in my pants and well...” he said. Thinking back to her earlier question he chuckled “ well, we could go into Hogsmead and get some, if you want, my treat, if your okay with being seen with me?” he asked closing up his bag as he waited for her answer. He wanted to show her he was there for her and wanted to treat her right as she deserved. John liked her and he would and knew he would protect her. “ I'm a fourth year so we might have classes together , some classes” he said as he stood his top shifted to reveal a scar he had , turning he looked at her knowing she'd seen it and blushed. “ sorry not something you should see” he said trying to make light of it but he knew she would have questions.

“Excuse me a minuet.” he said and moved to one side slipping off his jumper, his shirt came with it now a second scar was clear on his back as he stood shirtless not far from her. He slipped his shirt back on and walked back over. “Sorry was too warm, so ice cream?.”
