Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Fifty Shades of Cray-Cray Empty Fifty Shades of Cray-Cray

Post by Ray Ignazia Tue Jun 25, 2013 6:00 am

The teen's face was devoid of emotion, glaring with an unchanging face at everything that came in his path. He wore a simple black t-shirt today, and his normal jeans. His hair was tousled up, and he didn't even bother to get it done in a proper style. Such was the attitude of Ray Ignazia. Well, or so it seemed. Being seemingly carefree was one of the advantages he had, so he could work on whatever he worked on without people asking about it. Or caring about it. Or caring about him, really. Whichever worked best for those insignificant people. This thought brought Ray to another one- his own people relations. Did he have someone to care for, or did he need to search for someone he needed to care for? Apart from his parents, the weird teen had had nobody. Not that they didn't want to get close to him. The girls fell for him as if he were a grease filled ledge. But he couldn't let anyone get close to him, to influence him into doing whatever those weird teenagers did. Especially since it would threaten his work....

Which brought him back to present times. Why was he in Diagon Alley, exactly? Ray checked his pocket list. It was written that he had to buy his books for the second year and things, and he now remembered that he had chosen this day because, well, these were the holidays. He had full freedom to do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted, however he wanted, although he was still staying at Hogwarts. He had made it clear that he would be staying at Hogwarts to train for next year's O.W.Ls, even though he had suspected that he were to ace them. He looked at the street now. He was amidst a throng of people, all going by their daily business. Or whatever equivalent wizards had. He started to walk along, just in the general direction of the crowd, following some into a dark alley. The dark alley was new to Ray. He looked about, and then realized something.

He was lost. Hopelessly lost. He tried to figure out which way he had come, but his mind had been devoted to thinking about the next science project he were to attempt. He looked about, the sense of fear not yet creeping into him, till he were ambushed by a witch, who held up. "Hello sweetie...you wouldn't mind giving me a kiss would you?", said she. Ray looked at her, his electric blue eyes focusing on her. While she was kinda beautiful, Ray noticed that she had traces of poison on her lips. Not the greatest idea to kiss this woman. He pushed her off, his strength coming as a surprise to most, and didn't say sorry as he bolted, his athletic body allowing him to jump, dodge and weave seamlessly through the crowd. He reached an open clearing, and looked about, exasperated. "I really need someone to help me right now.", said he, panting slightly.

Fifty Shades of Cray-Cray Empty Re: Fifty Shades of Cray-Cray

Post by Toby Cooper Tue Jun 25, 2013 3:51 pm

It was a typical day for Toby. Jack was working in the shop, and Sunny had long ago disappeared into Slug and Jiggers. The male thought that he had caught her mumbling about finding her friend there, but Toby was used to the young girl's peculiar statements by now. With a small smile in the direction of the two females, the werewolf strode out into the cobblestoned alley.

For once, the male was walking faster than his usual slow meander. Toby intended to spend the day in Knockturn, having spent the last few primarily in Diagon. While many would call it stupid and dangerous for a mere teenager to spend time in the dark alley, Toby knew that he would be more than fine. While most children would immediately be noticed, the werewolf blended in quite well.

The Cooper was wearing shorts and a tee-shirt, displaying the many scars covering his muscular arms and legs. It was because of this, the boy had long ago figured, that he was treated like any other Knockturn patron, instead of the teenager that he was. Really, his size and build probably helped him be left alone, more than anything else.

Glancing around, Toby noticed a young guy. If he had to guess, he would have labeled the other minor as a year or two younger than himself. Quite frankly, the stranger looked more than a little out of place in the dark street. It was pretty obvious that he was lost, and when Madame Persephone approached him, Toby was ready to jump in and warn the kid.

Persephone was the Alley's best poisons dealer, and it was never a good idea to get involved with someone like her. Smiling as the brunet had the intelligence to run away from her, Toby followed as he went even deeper into the alley.

"You look a mite lost," the blonde announced from directly behind the other boy. While loosing his way did serve the other teenager right for being stupid enough to enter Knockturn, Toby figured that he didn't deserve to die from accidentally insulting a hag. While Diagon and Knockturn were connected, the two places could not be more different.

"You look a mite lost,"

Ray turned around as fast as his body would allow, and almost lost his footing, regaining it at the last second. He looked at the blonde before him. The blonde was muscular, and had a lot of scratches covering his arms and legs, which were revealed as he wore shorts and a tee. He had short, spiky hair, and seemed like he knew all that was going on. He seemed trustworthy, although there was something about him that told Ray that he wasn't exactly 'normal'. Or whatever the equivalent of that was in the wizarding world. Ray shot off a half smile towards him.

"Yeah, just a bit.", said he, jokingly, as he looked away from the guy. "Wasn't paying attention to where I was headed." Ray had nothing to hide from the guy, yet. He looked towards the throng of people entering the clearing, and noticed very weird things about them. A particular group of wizards held very tall individuals, like, taller than your average door, and they were completely covered, like a walking mummy. Another group had a fully transformed werewolf between them(was that even legal?) and another were pallid, like Ray, but even more gaunt, and he was certain that they were vampires, and not some long lost cousins of his. The street kept on getting as weird as possible, and Ray could practically feel the malicious aura of the people around him. Deciding to ignore them, he turned to the guy.

"Haven't I seen you in school?", asked Ray, smiling a little more, as he remembered that he had seen the blonde in school, once upon a time. He then looked behind the guy. "Oh, by the way, I'm Ray, and it'd be better if you showed me the way out fast. There's a mob approaching us.". There was just a hint of danger in Ray's voice as he looked urgently out towards the mob approaching them at a slow pace, lead by none other than the woman who'd put the poison on her lips. Ray pulled out his wand, ready to fight, but noticed an array of areas leading up to the roof. He motioned for the guy to follow him, and ran towards a bench, vaulting over it and using that momentum to run up a wall, gripping onto the ledge, pulling himself up and placing a foot on it to do a cat leap on a neighbouring wall, getting up on the rooftop with ease. Once there, he sat down, crosslegged, waiting for the guy.

The other boy's age was cemented in Toby's mind when he turned around so that the blonde could see his face properly for the first time. Definitely a young teenager. While Toby himself was only fifteen, his build helped him appear older, something that the male had always thanked his genetics for granting him. Up close, the other boy was even more pale than the werewolf had realized. He wasn't vampire-pale, but Toby couldn't help but wonder if the other boy ever went out.

The teenager nodded slowly in understanding when the lost boy admitted that he hadn't been paying attention to where he was going. That certainly made sense, although someone would have to be seriously out of it to wander this far into Knockturn without realizing something was off.

When the brown-haired teen mentioned something about having seen him in school, Toby froze momentarily. The blonde had never gone to Hogwarts, but it was possible that the other male recognized him from nursery school, or the classes that taught young witches and wizards to write before real school started. Toby could only hope that such wasn't the case. As he was no-longer affiliated with his family, questions could be raised that he really didn't want to answer.

Ray gave Toby no time to answer him, however, quickly spouting off his name and the fact that they were being approached. Then, with absolutely no warning at all, he ran for it and scaled a wall. Sighing slightly, because this boy was just making himself stick out like a sore thumb, Toby went to follow. Casually walking towards the bench Ray had jumped over, the blonde brought up one foot to stand on it. Stepping up again so that he was balanced upon the bench's back, Toby leaned forwards a few feet to lean his hands against the stone wall. Stretching to his full height, the teenager grabbed onto the ledge with both hands and used his impressive upper arms to pull himself up. From there, Toby jumped and made his way over to where Ray was perched.

"I'm Toby," the werewolf announced, plopping himself down next to the other teenager, "and you're an idiot." Perhaps that had been a bit blunt of him, but Ray really needed to know that. "The only reason they were coming after you is because you stick out like a doxy in a hornet's nest, and that whole display hardly helped matters," the blue-eyed wizard stated factually, "they shouldn't bother you anymore though, since you're with me."
