Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The summer sunshine was infectious, intoxicating, and for the students of Hogwarts it was an event that could not be missed out on. Students of all ages flocked to the small village of Hogsmeade, the younger ones accompanied by stern looking teachers that, upon seeing the sunshine themselves, allowed small smiles to appear at the edges of their mouths.

Cerelia had joined a few other Ravenclaws on the coach into the village and had stepped off rather unceremoniously at the edge of the village, allowing the coach to continue on, sending rather confused companions further into the settlement. Cerelia preferred being alone. She didn’t want the falsehood of small talk.

Cerelia began to move down the street, sticking to the side of the road, wary of the coaches rumbling down through the village. She took a pouch of coins from her pocket and held it close in her palms before stepping up onto the porch and entering a coffee shop not far from the insufferably sweet stench that was Honeydukes. The waft of the sugar set her teeth on edge but once inside the smell was replaced with freshly brewed coffee and hot milk; it certainly settled her mind.

The young witch ordered a coffee that she had sampled in Venice and as she brought the mug to her lips, allowed herself to remember the events that had occurred. One of the waitresses stopped by her table long enough to set down a chocolate croissant and Cerelia thanked her with payment before slipping the coins into her pocket and moving her hands to the pastry. She’d enjoy it, she promised herself; it was after all, a mere treat. She couldn’t give into temptation as often as she would’ve liked.
