Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Brew Your Hearts Out Empty Brew Your Hearts Out

Post by Jaquellene Jack Dyllan Sun Jun 09, 2013 3:09 am

Jack had all of the participants in her little brew-a-thon waiting in the main shop part of Weasleys. In the back room, she was making sure all was ready. What was once her experimenting room, now stood a cauldron for every pair that made it in. It had been expanded to give them room, and she had added some vents. The ingredients had been donated, as had the cauldrons, and they were all as neatly prepared as Jack could get them.

She had her employees come in to assist the potioneers in whatever they needed. Refreshments were available and they even carried medical supplies, just in case. Jack made a final check, got the thumbs up of approval from Kirsty and Gary, and then headed into the other room.

She propped open the door and looked at her small crowd. "Good morning, everyone. I'm glad to see you all here. Everything you need is already here. Please pair up with someone - those less confident in their abilties, please find someone with experience. Thank you all. Your support will make a difference." She made a grimace of a smile and stepped aside, allowing them all in.

((Is it alright if we say this is after graduation everyone?))

Brew Your Hearts Out Empty Re: Brew Your Hearts Out

Post by Hallie Cooper Sat Jul 13, 2013 10:54 pm

Hallie had arrived fairly early to the brew-a-thon in order to lmhave a browse around the store first. Already she had restocked her instant darkness powder (it may come in useful), purchased a packet of stink pellets and bought a skiving snackbox that she would give to Maura.

Eventually the shop grew busier and busier as more volunteers to brew the Wolfsbane potion arrived. It appeared a fair number has signed up including some familiar faces from Hogwarts. Hallie now a graduate, began to think about how she would never go to the school again. It was bizarre. But who knows, maybe if she becomes a auror one of her duties may involve Hogwarts?

Making her way through the crowd Hallie headed over to the front as Jack asked everyone to enter. Walking into the room of cauldrons Hallie giggled to herself. Why she has signed up for this when she wasn't the best brewer was beyond her. Sure she had managed to get through her NEWT well enough to hopefully come out with an Exceeds Expectations but still, her skills didn't match that of Vivianna Varnes who was incredibly talented for her age.

Despite not being able to brew incredibly well Hallie still had toyed over the idea of attending. Her brother was a werewolf and she hadn't spoken to him in years, her Mother believed her son to have died, the thought had even crossed Hallie's mind after her conversation with Brant Crawford and the thought of brewing Wolfsbane had brought back all her memories and questions. Was Toby safe? What was he doing? Where was he? Why hadnt he returned? ... Was he alive?

Hallie's history with werewolves had sparked a huge hatred towards them. They were evil and viscous. Evil, viscous and dark. with the exception being her brother if he was alive? Or would have been driven to the ways of a werewolf? Despite the hatred Hallie wanted to make a difference. The more werewolves that have access to the potion in order to have control over their transformation meant there would e fewer accidents, fewer werewolves in the long run... Fewer incidents like the one that caused Toby's change. That was why Hallie was doing it. So that people didn't have to go through what she had to when a loved one became a werewolf.
