Post by Lorcan D'Eath Sat Apr 13, 2013 9:39 pm

Lorcan was deeply relieved to have the chaos out of Death Manor. He had placed, on the table before him, the ledgers and the paperwork of the pervious leader. It was time for a fresh start in more ways than one. He sent the Morsmodre across the moonless nighttime sky to summon the remaining members of the organization.

He watched Zada come into the meeting room, admiring the graceful glide that her walk had. He hadn't ever been with a woman as long as he'd been with Zada, but then again, their relationship was more of a partnership than a romance, and the fact that he liked her looks didn't hurt. He caught her glance at the paperwork before him. He believed she was a very fitting lady of the manor.

"Don't worry," he reassured her quietly. "Soon now. Very soon." He poured himself a firewhiskey and lit a cigarette. "Come join me." He motioned to the chair on his right. She poured herself a vodka and joined him at the table.

Katrina-Carlotta appeared with a pop in front of the Manor, the sky above emblazoned with the mark identical to the one worn on her forearm. It was to be her first official meeting, the woman discounted the times she'd been marked and recruited. The witch wondered if anyone would bring up the deathly broom accident of the unfortunate new recruit a few weeks back. If they did, she'd need to be careful so that she wasn't tied to the situation.

Stepping into the Manor, the woman mentally noted that it definitely belonged to a pureblood. She'd been expecting that. However, if the woman had to spend the whole meeting listening rants on the importance if blood status, she would be very displeased. Perhaps even consider causing a massacre, just to prove a point. The ex-assassin had done her research, and the Death Eaters were a formidable group. They also appeared to be not nearly organized enough.

From what her connections could tell her, the group was more into spontaneous violence than planning. While perfect for causing chaos, the Death Eaters weren't going to truly get anywhere like that. Katrina-Carlotta would observe this meeting, get a grasp on they dynamics and hierarchies, then go from there.

Stepping carefully into what appeared to be a meeting room, the witch eyed the two Death Eaters already there, greeting them with a short nod. Eyeing the table, and figuring that wherever she sat would be disadvantageous, the witch conjured herself a chair, and sat it in the corner of the room closest to the door.

Ne'Os was on the hunt. It had been far to long since he had fed and he was feeling it effects. He knew if he waited much longer he would turn feral, and kill anyone he could find. Ne'Os was following a man who was exploring the London underground. The man was unaware of the vampire following him hidden by the thick blanket of darkness in the tunnel. Ne'Os watched the man climb onto an abandoned station. In one quick move Ne'Os closed the space between them and effortlessly snapped the man's neck.

He then dragged the body around a corner so he wouldn't be seen by any incoming train. Confident he would not be seen he began to drain the man's body of blood. satisfying his intense craving for blood. He had just finished when his arm started to burn. He knew that the dark mark had appeared in the sky above D'Eath Manor. Not bothering to clean up himself or his mess he disappeared with a soft pop that was muffled by the rattling of an incoming train.

He appeared out front of the manor, found his way inside, and entered the meeting room. His eyes moved to each of the people in the room. Lorcan and Zada he clearly recognized; but a new woman was in the room with them. She was in the corner of the room. He figured so that she could see everyone at all times. He gave her a warm smile not thinking about the blood of his dinner still on his chin and the front of his robes. He found his spot at the meeting table and sat waiting to hear what was important enough to call him from his meal.

Rivah stepped into Death Manor, the click of her heels echoing in the empty halls. It'd been a while since a meeting had been called, the witch had missed them. Rivah had an odd place in the group of Death Eaters, internally she thought of herself as the scholar of the bunch. The woman had once been compared to a human dictionary. She wasn't as powerful as some other members, the witch would admit to that, but she had one of those minds that never stopped thinking.

Slipping inside the meeting room, her eyes lingered on two others in particular. Ne'Os was covered in blood, it was a mite unsightly. She didn't mind that he was a vampire, her job would be quite difficult if she wasn't fond of non-humans, but the man could've at least used a cleaning charm.

The other person who caught her eye was a woman with back hair. She'd never seen her in person before, but Rivah knew who she was. Katrina-Carlotta Du Hunt was a well know assassin, practically all the Ministries in Europe were after her. Rivah inclined her head at the witch, she knew who not to mess with. Shooting a polite nod down the room at Lorcan and Zada, Rivah gave Ne'Os a small smile, and slid into regular seat.

Alexis walked into the Death Manor and sighed. She stretched her arms out over her head and yawned. It had been a while since a meeting was called and for some reason she was actually looking forward to this one. Maybe it was because it was the first in a while, or maybe it was because her father was running this one this time.

Alexis smirked and shrugged at her own thoughts, as if answering herself. She looked at the watch on her wrist and rolled her eyes, she doubted she was late, and even if she was she highly doubted everyone was already there anyways. The Werewolf girl walked down the empty halls, her heels making small clicking noises as she walked, and she glanced around.

She should seriously consider moving into the manor with the rest of her family, shouldn't she? Some kept asking her why she chose to leave when the manor was so big and luxurious. Truth was that she was having doubts about her loyalties for a while, but that wasn't the case anymore. She'd figured out where she belonged and she planned on staying there. She would just have to speak with her father about it later on.

Alexis walked into the meeting room and looked around. So she was right, not everyone was there yet. She moved her bangs out of her eyes and looked Katrina-Carlotta, Rivah, and Ne'Os. giving them a slight nod. She didn't know the two women very well, but she at the very least knew Ne'Os somewhat. She glanced at her father and smiled, "Hello father. Zada." She said politely to both of them, the smile slightly fading from her face.

Lorcan had gotten word that there was a new recruit. She had been the first to arrive. He noticed that she had deliberately positioned herself at the seat near the door--a defensive position. She was new and on guard. What was it he'd been told about her? Hm...he typically remembered. He glanced at Zada, who seemed to be a bit intrigued, and that was unusual. Lorcan took it to mean that the new recruit had a bit of the mercenary in her. Something that Zada liked to mentor.

"You must be Ms. Du Hunt," he said. "I heard you might be coming. Welcome." A moment later, Ne'Os arrived. Clearly, he'd been interrupted. Lorcan took the white linen handkerchief from his pocket and flicked a finger at it to float it to Ne'Os. "My apologies, Ne'Os, for interrupting your meal. You're welcome to clean up a bit before we get started." He wasn't particularly bothered by 'food" on someone else's face, but it wasn't always so welcome by the others. To Lorcan, it was the equivalent of noticing broccoli in someone else's teeth. It seemed a bit rude not to say anything. If, then, Emof chose to do nothing, then it made no difference to Lorcan.

The blond entered next. Oh, yes. The walking file cabinet. Trenton. She was helpful with data. Lorcan usually used journals and ledgers for details he chose not to try to shove into his brain. Trenton seemed to store it all. Muggles had hard drives. The Death Eaters had Trenton. It was all oddly similar. "Ms. Trenton. Good to see you again."

The arrival of his daughter brought a smile to his face. She seemed, to him, to become more beautiful every day. "Alexis," he said. "Hello, my dear. Thank you for coming. Take a seat. We shall begin shortly. We have much to discuss."

Katrina-Carlotta surveyed those around her. It was an interesting bunch, but the mixture of talents and strengths could very well make them perfectly deadly. The man who had greeted her was likely the most respected of the group. It wasn't hard to deduce that the man was Lorcan D'Eath, she could recognize the wizard from the descriptions of the one whom had recruited her. She'd done nothing but nod towards the man, further interaction interrupted by new arrivals. The witch didn't mind though, for now it was better to just survey.

The person whom had arrived after her was a vampire, covered in blood from a feeding. He had given her a wide blood-stained grin. If it was an honest smile or one meant to intimidate, the woman wasn't quite sure. All the same, she allowed her lips to curl into a small smile and had given a nod of greeting.

The next woman who walked in caused a smirk to appear on her face. The blonde carried an air of intelligence, of great intelligence. Katrina-Carlotta instantly pinned her as the type who could know every fact the world had to offer, but when it came down to it not be able to apply them practically to herself. Then again, the ex-assassin supposed, every group needed a strategist. Even if said person would be next to useless in battle.

The next witch to walk in held a definite resemblance to Lorcan D'Eath. Making a mental note to keep an eye on the girl for a plethora of reasons, her eyes skimmed to the only woman whom had arrived before her. From everything she'd heard, the witch couldn't be anyone but Zada Forbes. The blonde seemed interested in her, Katrina-Carlotta couldn't bring herself to be surprised.

The stream of people finally slowing, the dark witch turned towards the owner of the Manor. "Thank you, Mr. D'Eath. I wouldn't miss it," Katrina-Carlotta replied, her voice just loud enough to be heard.

The girl smiled at her father and nodded, taking a seat before quickly saying, "I wouldn't miss it father." More because she knew she would end up hearing about it from someone else and probably being asked why she hadn't shown up by Alistair or someone. She preferred to just show up and know everything that was going on from the get-go than having to be informed afterwards and probably be reprimanded for not attending the meeting in the process.

The young witch looked around the room at everyone once again, her gaze stopping at Zada for a few moments then on Katrina-Carlotta. Alexis didn't have much interest in her, or in anyone else really, but it was somewhat obvious that Zada did seem interested in Katrina-Carlotta. Alexis raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms over her chest, sighing softly.

Alexis glanced at the door, hoping someone else would walk in. She felt a little out of place here, everyone else seemed to know what they were doing, or at least have a slight idea of why they were there. She, on the other hand, didn't really understand what being there did for her exactly, besides making her even more like her family. It wasn't like she was actually useful, well... maybe she was. Being a Werewolf had its perks, but still.

Charlotte arrived outside of Death Manor on her broomstick, her Holyhead Harpie robes billowing wildly behind her and her hair fastened into tight braided down her back. She was rather exhausted from the training session that she'd endured. The other week she had broken the record of most on target bludgers in a game since 1984 and was intended to step up her flying in order to be scouted for the England Team.

Hovering lightly above the ground she glided to the door, dismounting and entering the manor as the doors opened before her. 'Sorry I'm late.' Charlotte spoke as she entered the meeting room, although she wasn't sorry at all, she'd turned up hadn't she? And that was good enough for her, after all she was a famous Quidditch player.

Charlotte proped her broomstick up against the wall by the door and walked over to take a seat next to Rivah. She'd known Rivah for a while, only as death eaters and they never really spoke much, more acquaintances, although they were beginning to grow more friendly over time. Charlotte was, like the rest of the witches and wizards in the room, a pure blood supremacist although her dark magic wasn't as powerful as those around her and she tended not to use it unless it was necessary. Despite this Charlotte had been of use in missions which required flight or spying - being a famous Quidditch player people trusted her, she could enter a room and people didnt worry about holding their tongue. All Charlotte would have to do is come up with a believable excuse as to why she was there.

Katrina-Carlotta found her eyes narrowing as they focused on the latecomer. The witch was far too self-assured. Sure, it was possible that the woman was useful or talented, but the aura that she gave off made the dark witch want to sneer in disgust.

Completely ignoring the over-dramatic entrance of the woman with the broom, the assassin turned to Lorcan D'Eath instead. There was a reason for this meeting, a reason that the Du Hunt herself found quite pleasing. Honestly, this group needed someone like her to be in charge. The way they were now, it was no wonder that they hadn't been getting anywhere.

"Mr. D'Eath," Katrina-Carlotta directed towards where the half-vampire was seated, "there was a reason for this meeting, was there not?" The infamous witch was quite comfortable at her spot by the door, but she figure that she should be moving shortly. Elegant fingers stroking her wand, the woman waited for Lorcan to make his announcement. The sooner he did, the sooner she could get started.
