Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Need naive, young character for silly plot Empty Need naive, young character for silly plot

Post by Liesl Dolohov Sun Jan 06, 2013 2:41 am

Okay so I have this idea for a character but it kinda goes with a plot idea, and I don't want to make the character if nobody is up for this.

SO, I'm thinking of making a Hogwarts Ghost. Probably one of the interesting and funny ones, like Nearly Headless Nick or The Fat Friar but maybe The Bloody Baron or an OC if the right character shows an interest.

Now, we all know that the Hogwarts ghosts are stuck haunting the castle... or are they? My character, would be looking out for a nice naive young student who's willing to carry around a brick so he can get away and see a bit of the world for a change. And there will be shenanigans because of course there will.

The question is: Is anybody up to the challenge?

I may have a character brewing for you, but he'd be older and, while not naive, fairly ignorant to the idea of consequences.

I have Dakota here and Quelyn. Dakota is shy and might do so out of fear of the ghost as her first one on one incounter with one did not turn out so well. And dqmot does not understand a lot but anger and what she reads in her books

If you do end up creating the Blood Baron, I have a 5th year Slytherin named Vivianna who might be up for it. If the Baron was willing to teach her spells, give her information, or tell her stories of history he's lived through, I'm sure the two of them could reach some sort of deal. I can't really see her doing the same for another ghost though.
