Enlightment, and a turn of events ( Amaris )

Raphel was inside the library taking care of his work, which he didn't want to do. But it was due tomorrow, and his father would be pissed if he didn't get O's. So he would come here, it was quiet and not many people knew him. His time was also taken by a few changes in his life, his father wanted him to marry and it might be set in stone. But he had other plans, and this could only be seen differently from his point of view. He may need to use a few favors, or blackmail a few friends, but he would have a way around it. Looking back into his school books, just hanging his head in shame because he didn't want to read this today. But he felt a chill run through his body.

" I wonder how today will turn out? "

Amaris was freaking out.

Everything had happened so quickly and she didn't understand anything. She couldn't wrap her head around what the healer had told her. It was just impossible. No, maybe its not. Her eyes widened as she remembered the night when she met Raphel in the Leaky Cauldron and what had happened afterwards. She cursed at herself, quite loudly, in the common room and she ran out, with a few people staring at her. One girl had accidently gotten in her way and Amaris nearly ripped her apart, baring her fangs and everything at the girl before she continued what she was doing.

I have to find him. Now.

She continued to repeat that in her head frantically as she ran through the corridors, careful not to get caught by a prefect, looking for Raphel. She just couldn't believe what had been the result of that night, she had thought it was nothing, but now she had been proven wrong. Now there was something that bound the two of them together, but nothing could be done about that now, she was engaged with Nathaniel, no matter how much she hated him. No one could change that now, but he had to know about it. She had no idea where he would be though, and when she was about to give up, she ran into the library, the last place where she thought he would be and there he was.

Her breathing was heavy from the running everywhere and she took a few deep breaths before even deciding to approach him. When she finally did, she found herself being somewhat timid, that wasn't like her at all. Her hand had gone up to her stomach and she didn't feel well all of a sudden. The healer had told her she would be feeling like that a lot because of the child growing in her, but somehow she doubted the feeling had anything to do with the baby right now. "... Raphel." she started. "I have to talk to you."

Raphel was minding his own business, when a certain women came up to him. He remembered her quite well, taking her on that beautiful night and he loved every second of it. But she looked very different now, like something was eating away at her. He only gave her a stern look as she seemed to want to talk to him.

:" Sure Amaris, want to go somewhere quiet? "

It seemed really important, and this only made him have a bad feeling. Like something was going to happen that would change his and her life. But was this the right feeling or was there something else happening, he clenched his fist overthinking what would happen. Hopefully they would go to the restricted section of the Library for there chat.

Amaris could feel her heart beating rapidly in her chest, as she tried to find a way to place all her words and thoughts in order. How was she supposed to tell him this? How would he react to it? She knew there was a chance that he would react badly, but it was something that needed ot be said. But first she had to make sure he didn't say anything about it, her parents, the Mulcibers, especially Nathaniel, couldn't find out about the child's origin. They couldn't know that it didn't have their blood, but the Montague's blood running through his veins.

"Yes." she said. "But before that, you have to promise me something." she said in a cold and stern voice. "You have to promise that you won't say anything about what I'm going to tell you to anyone." she told him. From the tone of her voice in the last part, anyone could tell that it was something serious and quite frankly embarrassing, especially for someone who was engaged. She bore the child on of a man that wasn't the one she was going to be marrying.

No one could find out, because it could put her family's name in jeopardy, the name her uncle had so restlessly fought to make a wealthy and worthy name for all of those who had the name.

Rachel packed his books on the table into his bag, and then grabbed her hand. Lacing it with his own, using his thumb to rub the top of her hand gently. He felt that she might need a little comfort, and he would support her. He wondered about her, there time together was something else to him, he liked it. But he couldn't ruin his image, anyway out in the open where others are.

She asked him to promise her something, but he needed to know what it was first. He wasn't going to say yes, then change his mind after she tells him the truth. He wasn't going for the cliche type of guy, looking at her. " Tell me first, and you will have a answer " He said in a stern tone, showing her that he was being serious as well. They reached a very distance, and quiet place within the library. And pulled out his wand, saying the silencing spell around them so no one overheard, just in case.

His hand was still holding hers, and he didn't let go, his grey eyes would turn a stone like color as he looked at her. " Tell me, Amaris, what is the matter " He felt his heart race abit being alone with her again, but also scared about this news she wanted to share.

Amaris was already nervous enough and he wasn't helping by telling her to tellhim before he decided if he would say anything or not. She sighed softly and bit her lip. "Fine." she said after a little thought. She watched him place the silencing spell around the area where they were and she rubbed her arm softly. At least now she didn't have to worry about anyone overhearing them.

She hesitated for a moment when he told her to tell him. She wasn't sure how he would react to the news of him being a father to a child of a woman he probably wouldn't see again after their graduation. Amaris took a deep breath and started talking. "I don't know how you'll react to this." she started, trying to find the proper way to tell him what was going on.

"But ..." her eyes darted to the side before they went down to her stomach a d she placed her hands on it gently. "I'm pregnant." she told him. He wouldn't be able to deny that the child was his, since she was a virgin when he had her that night. She looked at him slowly, looking at his eyes for a reaction.

Raphel felt nervous with her acting this strange, it was very unlike her. Usually she was very straight forward with things, and very manipulative but this took the cake. She was acting like a Hufflepuff, nervous about everything. If a slytherin was acting this way, then it must be something big.

Relaxing was the best he could do, taking a deep breathe as she started to talk. " It couldn't be that bad " He said to her response of him reacting badly, how bad could this be. Him getting kill, everyone after him......her getting....pregnant. Watching her look to her stomach, and placing a hand over it was really bad, and when she said it he went blank. " Oh........"

He stayed quiet for the longest of time, his hand gripped her own tighter that might start to hurt. He was in a different world thinking this over, it had to be true because she was a virgin, when he had her. Unless she went with another guy, but he doubted that. It had to be HIS, and now he would push Amaris into a nearby bookshelf. His eyes staring into hers, a very dark shade of grey told it's place for his eyes. " I see......you bare my child, what are you going to do with it? " He asked seriously, his tone was very cold to her.

His one free hand moved to her stomach, not roughly to damage his Child. But what did this mean, would he have to be in her life now. But he had heard a rumor that she was engaged but so was he for that matter. Things were starting to go haywire in his head, trying to think of a idea for this issue.
