Her straight hair has a slight curl outwards at the ends and falls to her mid-back; she either wears it down, in a ponytail, or in a braid. She has a bright smile that lends to her friendly nature

She usually wears a t-shirt, dark jeans, a sweater or her leather jacket, and Converse. She always wears her grandmother’s emerald ring on her middle finger on her right hand and a silver purity ring on her left hand. She loves wearing necklaces that match her current clothing of choice. She doesn’t have her ears pierced.

PERSONALITY: Asuna is an easygoing person. People find it easy to be friends with her. She’s loyal to her family and friends; she can be depended on to do her duty. Her bravery can at times cause her to become reckless especially if she feels overconfident.

She’s intelligent and does very well in her classes. She has spent many late nights working on her assignments as she prefers to hang out with friends rather than getting done with her homework early.

Her suspicious nature causes her to keep her knife under her pillow and wand close at hand when she sleeps. She’s overly protective of her family when it comes to protecting them from the Death Eaters. She usually tells them everything she is able to unless they would be in danger from the information she gives them.

She’s modest. She dislikes the spotlight. She admits when she’s done well but doesn’t brag about her actions. If she’s around too many people for too long a time, she will try to make up an excuse to find somewhere to be alone. She prefers being with a small group of friends over being in a large group.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: Asuna grew up in London with her parents all her life. Before she got her Hogwarts letter, she knew nothing of her mother being a witch. All she knew before her parents told her the truth was that her mother was a doctor which is a partial truth because her mother works at St Mungo’s. Her father works as a History professor but before he got his professor position, he worked as an assistant to his father, Roger Mitchell, a well known Muggle archaeologist.

She went to a small school until she was enrolled in Hogwart’s. For extracurriculars she danced with a local dance school and learned martial arts from her father under his private tutelage. She was known as the “tough girl who was also very kind”.

Her favorite relative besides her parents were her father’s parents. She’s been on many trips with her parents and grandparents. She loved hearing stories from her grandfather about his excursions in Egypt and the Middle East. He loved to tell tall tales and try to scare her with his stories. Before she got her letter, she wanted to be a historian or archaeologist.

Hogwarts Years: Asuna was thrilled when she learned the truth about her mother and got her Hogwarts letter. Her first pet was her cat, Thalia, that her mother got for free from her witch friend’s litter of kittens. She was fascinated by the magic and the castle of Hogwarts during her first year. She was very curious (and still is) of the intricate details of the castle as her excitement over archaeology and history shone through. At first she was fairly shy when she first came, then she grew to become more outgoing like her normal self back home but more confident in her abilities. She knew what her calling was. Being a Half-blood she grew to be protective of her Muggle friends and fellow Half-bloods.

As the years passed until her fourth year, she became more confident in her magical abilities and more daring. She knew she could take care of herself.

During her third year her grandfather died when she was away at school before Midterms. It temporarily broke her spirit. She was still determined to pass her exams. She didn’t study as hard as she did in her second year. Her and her family buried her grandfather over the break. After returning to school she became more determined to do well in school to make her deceased grandfather proud. She still gets really sad if people remind her of his death and angry if they scorn her remembrance of him. Her parents gave her an owl after that Christmas break to keep in touch with them easier over the rest of her time at Hogwarts.
