A normal thread

Darien was yet again on Knockturn Alley and went from shop to shop, to find some herbs he needed. He wanted to remind himself some potions and he needed some herbs he couldn't find on Diagon. He also wanted to try to get a job in St Mungo's, because he had to do something, if he wanted to stay in London for a long time. Because he doubted, that Lucifer wants to move so often he does and well, Darien didn't want to just sit home every day.
Now he exited another shop, still hadn't find the thing he needed. Although he asked, too. Now he walked down the street towards a next shop where there should be these herbs, as the last shopkeeper said.

Although she had promised to herself that she'd never return to this place, it was hard to hold a curious cat on one spot.
Avis was in great need of new herbs and Knockturn Alley was the only place where she could get them. But the only question was Where.
Once she met Aaron here. The young man had saved her from the ones who'd not only violate her, but later dance around her dead body.
She shrugged the fear off of her shoulders and looked down. This time she had more appropriate clothing for this place. Avis was wearing a dark brown cloack that covered her whole body and under this she had her dark clothes. And in one sleeve she had her wand with her. A secret pocket that she always made in her clothes. In case of emergency or danger she could always protect herself from harm.

Avis' head was lowered and as she was about to enter one shop, she bumped into someone and second later she found herself on the ground, rubbing her hands and right knee. The hood from her head had fallen off, revealing her face to the world.

Darien's eyes widened, as someone bumped into him. Or he into her. Because they were both walking and neither of them was watching. But Darien managed to stay still and stand. "I'm sorry. Are you okay?" he asked, as he saw, that the girl was probably hurt and kneeled down in front of her. She looked young and pretty, and definitely not from this world, she didn't belong to Knockturn. But then again, neither did Darien. But at least she didn't look old and nasty, as most of them did.

She looked at her hands. They were bruised and her knuckles were bleeding. Avis gasped. She hated blood, despised it more than everything. Gryffindor took another deep breath to calm herself down. Then she looked at the young man who was also a victim in this case.
Avis shook her head. Unlike most of the people, she was always straight ahead and did not lie. "No," she replied bitterly.
Her knee hurt and there was a great possibility that she had hit it hard enough so that it would bleed. To check if she were right, Avis removed the cloak from her legs and looked at her knee. Yes, it was definately bleeding. She could feel moistness.
Nevertheless, she looked at the young man again. She could not ignore the fact that he was not the average pretty face. His bright blue eyes buried themselves fast into her memory.
"What about you? Did you get hurt?"

Her wounds were simple. Although they were giving their pain off, she was able to fix things up with her potions.
With shaking hands and legs, Avis got up and wiped all the dust off of her.

"We should get that fixed.." Darien said, as he saw blood coming through her clothes. "And I'm okay, didn't get hurt.." The girl was so small and well.. Darien didn't fall, when they bumped together. "Would you want me to help you fixing this?" Darien asked. He couldn't just walk away and leave the lovely girl there all alone, injured. There were so many weirdos there, that she wouldn't be safe there all alone.

As she got all the dirt off of her clothes, Avis covered her head with the hood again and looked around. It seemed however that no one ever noticed their little accident. At least one good thing. She did not want someone's attention. Besides - she came here with only one thing in mind.
To get those herbs that were missing from her collection. Avis was not over with her manic hobby of creating all those potions, wether were they good or bad. Poison or those that'd heal someone.
After all - she had taken the idea of getting rid of this green flu for good. But the thing was she did not know wether were her potions any good or not. She had no labrats, and as odd as it did sound, while taking all those drinks, she was never fallen ill. Perhaps she was immune to this? Or, not knowing what she had done, she had mutated herself?

Avis looked down at her hand and then at her cloak, the place where her knee was located. Then she shrugged. "No need... It is good to bleed sometimes." Was it natural or no.
Then she looked at him, seatching for any injuries that he did not want to admit. Then she came to conclusion that he, indeed, was clean.

Darien raised his eyebrows and shrugged then. "If you think so." Darien's smile was still friendly. "It's weird to see someone uh... normal, in this street, though." Dar didn't want to insult anyone but that was the only word he could think of right now. And well, he wanted to speak to her. Maybe they could go on together..? Though he had no idea, why the girl was on this street, anyway. "I'm Darien, by the way."

She was sure of it. But once he agreed to do as she asked him to, not to heal or help her in any way, Avis studied his face once again with her hazel eyes.
His features were interesting. Again a person who clearly did not belong in Knockturn. Avis knew that with her looks (she was quite young and she could see that mostly those who had a role in dark magics) belonged there.
Of course there was a possibility that her new companion was one of those new Death Eaters, Avis did not bother herself with this kind of thing. Her thoughts were concerned about other things. However, his words sounded more like a compliment to her which was why she smiled.

"I am flattered." Although her reply sounded rather sarcastic, she did think so. Called normal by someone was actually a thing to live for. "It's nice to meet you, Darien. My name is Avis." Without hesitation or thoughts about breaking rules of personal space, she grabbed his arm and shaked it. Then she let go of him and looked around. "Where were you heading if I might ask?"

Darien smiled again and nodded. "Nice to meet you, too." He was a bit surprised though, when she grabbed his arm to shake it, but he didn't mind. He wasn't afraid of physical contact and uh, that girl didn't seem dangerous, that she'd do something. She seemed young, younger than he is and Dar looked young, too. But she probably was still in school. "I'm looking for some herbs, what about you?" he then answered honestly. Maybe they could go together?

Oh, Avis could be dangerous if she'd want to. She knew spells and she knew how to protect herself even without using her wand. As she was Halfblood, she knew much about muggles. So she had enrolled a course of training in which she studied martial arts. Tae Kwon-Do and Karate to be specific.
Also she usually carried some potions with her. Only this time she had forgotten those at school.

"Herbs? Are you a healer?" This was unexpected. But then again - meeting a nice looking man, who was also friendly, was also something that would go under 'unexpected'.
