House Rivalary for the lost

It was Alex's second year here at Hogwarts, his first year was a dream come true as he got here with such demand and need. Learning about Magic and farther himself in the arts, all the magical things in the world explained. He was at the platform early, to see if any of his friends would come along but he just stood in the middle with a large suitcase in his hand. His blonde-brownish hair was tied up in a pony tail but it only came down to his neck. And his eyes were similar to that of a cat, he still had his Topaz and Emerald eyes.

He was smiling abit, but it wasn't as much as when he was a child. He lose his Father, during his first summer after he came back to School. Living with just his mother in there estate in the high mountain of Mount Fuji, but he didn't want to let those feelings harm him. Running his hand through his hair, looking around to find something of interest. His eyes would travel around at the other students, each pasting by and him in the middle of the platform blocking traffic, bad luck is sure to follow but he was just over thinking things.

To think that he was accepted here from Japan, he could have went to the school his Cousin Yukio went to. But he decided to come here when he got the letter, and didn't argue one bit about the change of pace. Leaving Japan to come here, away from his home was good because he needed to get away. He just shrugged his head, looking back at the train it was almost time to get on. " I wonder how today would turn out? "

The first year.

That was always the worst. Or at least in her mind it was. Even with her sister going with her, what would happen if they were separated? There was no way she would be able to keep an eye on Naomi if they were in different houses. That was the only thing that truly scared her right now. She'd promised to keep an eye on Naomi forever to her parents, at their graves.

That didn't mean that she'd never see Naomi though. If they ended up in different houses, she would just have to find a way to see Naomi. Anyways, they would probably take some of the same classes and they could meet up at the grounds. There was nothing to worry about. Although in the back of her mind she was just really hoping Naomi would get sorted into the same house as her. As long as she didn't get sorted into Slytherin. There was no way Naomi would ever be able to get into Slytherin, she wasn't mean enough.

Hitame looked up at the red train known as the Hogwarts Express and she sighed. There was still a little bit of time before it left, and she hurried onto the train holding her kitten close to her. The little kitten mewed softly, which as Hitame heard was a, "Stop holding me so tight." she loosened her grip on the kitten and muttered, "Sorry Katniss." as she looked down at the kitten. Hitame found an empty compartment and she quickly sat down, looking out the window at the other students who were starting to get on.

Alex had went into the slytherin cart, as he went with his friends and started to chat it up. The train whistle has went off, meaning that the train was ready as it would start moving out of the station. After about few minutes they could see the country side, it was a very amusing sight and he looked at it. Soon a few of his friends had asked him to prank some Hufflepuffs, and he just went with it, he had some stink bombs and headed off to the Hufflepuff cart.

A few moments later, they walked in and threw them at the ground. Causing the whole cart to stink, many upper classmen opened there compartments and looked pissed with there wands out. Alex had run away to not get caught, as he approached the first year compartments, he didn't have time to get back to the slytherin cart and he opened a door to a random compartment.

Getting in as he closed the door, and heard many students passing by outside but he needed to stay in here to not get caught. When he turned around to see who was in here, he found a girl in the compartment by herself. He looked at her from her head to her feet, and didn't know what to say, just running a hand through his hair. " I'm sorry about that, do you mind if I can seat in here with you? " He hoped she would say yes, but who knows.

Katniss had begun to get hungry and Hitame got a small bowl out with food for her to eat. As she begun to pour the food in the bowl, the train began to move forward and she took a misstep, causing the food to spill a bit on the floor. Hitame giggled softly and said, "Oops." as she looked at Katniss. She picked the food up in her hands and looked at the bowl then at Katniss.

"Don't expect me to eat that. It's been on the floor." the black and white kitten said. "You eat food off the ground back home. So hush." she replied and Katniss glared at her before giving her a faint, "Fine." Hitame smiled triumphantly and put the foot in the bowl. Katniss took a step forward and lowered her head to the bowl, beginning to eat. Hitame, crouched down on the floor, gently pet Katniss as an older boy suddenly came into the compartment. She immediately stood up and the kitten lifted her head from the bowl as well.

"You can't just barge into a compartment like that!" she exclaimed, her cheeks getting a bit flustered, as she noticed him looking at her from head to toe. "And stop looking at me like that!" she said and looked outside the window at the student ts that passed by. They seemed mad and Hitame blinked as they passed. "You're running from them?" she asked.

Alex cheeks had been tainted with a little blush, as she yelled at him. But it went away, when he came back to his senses and stopped looking at her whole body. " Hey I can look at you, it's a free country!......" He felt another blush appear on his cheeks, because he just blurted out those words. Focusing on her face, and eyes so that she could see his topaz and Emerald colored eyes as they stared into hers.

" Yeah, I'm running from them, lets just say my friends caused a problem with the upper classmen " He really didn't want to be hex or charmed by them, he was still learning magic. And it would just be a shame to have something like that happen to him, and then he would get in trouble with teachers or someone worst. He smiled at her charmingly, his eyes would shrink to that similar of a cats eye.

" Oh where is my manners, my name is Alex star and yours miss? " He asked in a calm, and easy tone. He was hoping that she wouldn't throw him out, or tell them that he was here with her. God, so far his day has been getting better, then worst in a few seconds. " So can I stay? "

"So what?!" she shouted at him. "You shouldn't stare at a girl like that! It's perverted!" she said. This was why she didn't like boys, they always did something that was perverted, whether it was intentional of not. They were just naturally perverted she guessed. She felt that she had a slight blush on her cheeks and she looked down at her kitten, who looked back up at her. "I don't like him." Katniss told her. Hitame blinked and responded, "You don't even know him." softly to the kitten's comment. Katniss sat down, her tail flicking side to side. "Something just makes me not like him." Hitame looked up at him again and then back down at Katniss.

When he said his friends caused problems with the upper classmen, she sighed. "Well that's what they get!" she said. "Why would you be stupid enough to cause problems with them. They could easily hex you guys." she sighed and crouched down again to pick up Katniss. When he smiled at her expression didn't change and she didn't even try to smile back at him. She rolled her eyes at him and sat down in the seat where she'd been with Katniss on her lap.

"My name's Hitame Higurashi." she said calmly and gently pet Katniss. The kitten curled up in her lap and had fallen asleep. "I don't care. Do what you want. You'll eventually be caught anyways." she said softly, not even bothering to look at him.

She had said the thing he was doing was perverted, which made him blush at his own actions. He was just looking at her, and just getting a full view of the girl that seems to be a arse to him for no reason. But he should have known better, his mother had taught him better then this and this was very bad for his family honor. He looked at her face only, but saw that there was a blush as well, planted on her cheeks and he didn't even know why. " Merlin, Girls are so tricky and different " He said under his breathe, as he didn't want her to hear his notable comment.

As she spoke of his actions, and friends being fools. He gave her a slight frown, as to show that he didn't like her comments. " Sure, we were being stupid and foolish but were only kids. Your no different then us, you should be doing the same and not acting like a Baka!! " He said the final word with much Empathize, even if she didn't know Japanese, it was still fun for him to say. He took at seat on the other side of the compartment, as he looked out a window.

He didn't want to bother her, but when she said her name he laughed on the inside. A name sometimes made a person, and the way she acted was very similar to her name. To oppose and rain to pour but also relax and be flexible, when will that part come, he would never know. " I like your Name, it suits you and it's very beautiful " His mother always told him to complement a girl, but why he never knew.

He was starting to warm up to her, until she ran her mouth with a foul comment to him. He ran a hand through his hand again, as he thought about it for a few seconds. Did he want to cause a problem with her, well yes he very much did but he needed to think like a slytherin not like a Gryffindor. " You might be wrong about that, my family is a decent of Ninja's from Feudal Japan and as a heir to the Star clan lineage I have to excel and learn like my past ancestors have " He said with honor, and pride to his heritage.
