Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Lack of Childhood Memories Empty Lack of Childhood Memories

Post by Alder Ingram Tue Jul 31, 2012 7:46 pm

Alder had flashbacks all of the time. Little bits and pieces of memories from his childhood would sometimes just appear in his dreams or flash right before his eyes. His parents were pure evil. The Death Eaters convinced him to do something about it. And he was going to.

Alder apparated in front of his parents large mansion. It was dark and gloomy. It was also very quiet, as if no one lived there. But he knew they were in there. He pounded on the door. A butler of his parents' came to the door. "Yes?" the butler asked as if he had three eyes.

"Get the hell out of the way!" Alder spat and he pushed past the man. He entered one of the living rooms. His older parents were sitting in comfortable chairs, still making potions. As they did when he was a child. And they tested them on him.

"Boy!" his father spat. "What're you doing here?!" Alder tried to keep his cool. "Just paying a visit to my parents."

"Why would you be doing that?" his mother asked coldly. "You are the reason that I'm in this world, right?" Alder asked as warmly as possible.

"I learned over the many years that resenting you would only make myself angry. And so I'm here to fix that," Alder said menacingly. "Ah dear boy. You've finally learned, have you?" his father taunted.

"Yes. And now it's your turn. CRUCIO!" he screamed. All of the anger that was built up inside him was just released. And Alder wanted to see them hurt. He took a look at his mother and the pain had also inflicted on her too. The elderly butler, named Reginald Crogen, took out his wand and fired a stunning charm at Alder. He stopped torturing his parents and deflected the spell.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!" he bellowed and the green light struck the man and he was dead. Cold and dead.

His focus returned to his parents. "Now what am I to do with you too?!" he said to of of them. He cracked open a window to fire the Dark Mark. It was required. "Morsmordre!" and it appeared in the air.

"After my family was killed, the Dark Arts took me in. I'm a Death Eater! And do you know what death eaters do?! We KILL!" he screamed and he fired a Killing Curse at his father. His mother screamed in horror. "My sweet mother. I just want you t know that I sure as hell won't miss you. Avada Kedavra," he said gently. His work was done. He fired the mark and the aurors would probably be here in minutes. He wasn't gonna run. He wanted to be recognized for what he did.

He simply grabbed a glass of wine and sat in a chair.
