What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting.     GENERAL APPEARANCE: At first glance, Talon appears to be a regular high school kid, without much of a menacing look to him. His hair is often long and usually a light brown or dark brown depending on the time of day. His eyes are a solid blue, nothing really special. With a slightly above average height for his age, Talon isn't very muscular or even that athletic looking.

    PERSONALITY: Talon is the kind of guy to be a stand up comic in a firefight. He is a loyal kind of person, enough to where he is willing to fight for someone, yet paranoid enough to try and question everyone's motives. It isn't intentional on his end, but rather the thoughts that linger in his mind that usually commit him to believe things that actually won't happen. Talon is sometimes called a conspiracy theorist, often making anything seem like something will try to harm him. Yet despite these flaws in his psyche, he is a very fun loving kind of guy that would be willing to give you the shirt off his back to help someone that truly needs it. Does that make him a hypocrite? I guess you can be the judge of that.

CHARACTER HISTORY

    Early Years: Talon was born in Moline Illinois on October 17th, 2010 to loving parents and a loving sibling. The first few years of Talon's life were hectic, his family being on a tight budget and staying in a 2 bedroom apartment as his father tried to work his way up the corporate chain. Most of his younger days were spent just wanting to learn and wanting to play, something normal for most children in their early stages of life. Talon though was unique in a sense, seeing as how strange things began to occur in the early stages of his life, something his father had noticed in him. Unlike his brother, Talon had been born with the ability to use magic, unlike his older brother who was not born with the gift. Just seeing Talon's progress, as well as Esmond's gave his parents the strength they needed in order to progress in life without head splitting stress. When Talon turned 6, him and his family moved out of the small and cramped apartment for a much more simple suburban house in a nice neighbor. Talon lived in a 'clean' environment, his parents keeping him away from the darkness that was the outside world, yet trying their best to teach him the ways of how the world worked. Nevertheless, Talon felt ready to face the world and deal with anything life threw at him. Around age 9, Talon gained a strong bond with his grandfather, his grandfather also being a wizard, even showed him of magic and told him about his times as Hogwarts. They would eventually become best of buddies, his grandfather giving him the nickname of 'Bud', based off his middle name. Everything seemed to be perfect for 'Bud' as he even got his letter of acceptance to Hogwarts the day he turned eleven.

    Hogwarts Years: When Talon first started out at Hogwarts, he was completely consumed by how much the school had to offer. He quickly took interest in many of the subjects, comparing them a lot to real life applications and other things he had back in Illinois. He made a lot of friends, yet never any real close ones, and quickly gained a reputation for being quick on his feet. Yet that all changed one day during his third year when he received a letter from his parents saying his grandfather had passed. Talon, never actually losing anyone to death, quickly fell into a spiral of depression and otherwise isolationism. He lost his friend, mentor, and one of his favorite people. Talon spent most of his third year in a depressed state of mind, losing all of his friends and eventually his grades began to drop, leading to an 'intervention' by some of the professors, who noticed his change in behavior. By his fourth year however, he was back on his feet, if not a little bit more nihilistic about most aspects of his life. Now in his fifth year, he's hoping to really make a difference.

also, question. he appears to be more of a ravenclaw to me than a gryffindor. you okay with that?

Yeah, I was going to do that once my PB was approved, but I'll edit that in now. And sure, I'm okay with that, he is sort of inbetween being a Ravenclaw and a Gryffindor, but I think he'd be more suited to the knowledge pursuit of life.
