What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Hot pink and light purple, electric blue and high lighter yellow, black and red. The colors all ran together in Cecilia’s mine as she stared off into space. Panicle in hand sketch pad in her lap Cecilia was designing. Thought the page was blank she could she every aspect of the clothing in her mind. She could feel the different textured cloths she would use when sowing the pretty dress she envisioned. With a happy sigh Cecilia began to draw with out looking sown at the paper. Her hand moving with the lines she saw in her mind. Soon she began to color parts of the dress in bright shades with colored panicles which she took every where she went. When she finally looked at it the picture was even more wonderful than she had imagined it would be. Now all that was left was to actually put it together. Pull it off the paper and wear it herself.

The young girl of about sixteen was sitting under a large tree in Hosmeed. All that mattered is that her surroundings where pretty and joyful. There was a couple sitting on a bench that sat across from Honey dukes. Cecilia watched as the man got off of the bench and got down on one knee and purposed to his girlfriend. All of the people around her were wizards. They all were alike in the same way. Most had gone to Hogwarts if not all of them. There were other students running around. Not a lot but a few.

Laying her penciled in her lap Cecilia tilted her head to the side and began to twirl her hair around her finger in thought. She wondered what it would be like when she met the man she would marry. Unlike the two she watched she would never be permitted to pick the one guy perfect for her. That was all up to her father possibly with the help of her older brother, Elijah. She pushed some of the hair out of her face then flipped to the front of her sketch book. She flipped though her older designs stopping on the one she wore to day. She had stopped on a drawing of a girl with long dark brown hair wearing a red, blue and purple dress. The Top was a really light purple, the skirt a darker blue, with a bright red belt dividing the difference. Along with the dress Cecilia wore bright red heels, purple sun glasses and some mismatched blue jewelry. They all had seemed unlikely colors at first, but in the end Cecilia felt they went nice together leavening a nice cheerful feel in the air.

Ideas everywhere, outside in his mind, and Jake couldn't figure out what to do with them all. He was taking a break from his work in the Ministry for a while, because he needed some time to sort everything in his mind out and to come up with some new projects for the newest creatures being brought into his department. He never thought that he could've ever gotten a job as great, and stressful, as the one he had now. He was doing what he loved, working with magical creatures.

He couldn't ask for anything more, except maybe to see his friends again. The might have been annoying and clingy but they were his friends. For once in his life he actually missed them. They had gone somewhere far away after they had graduated and now he hadn't heard from them for a while. He figured it was a good sign, that they were happy where ever they were now, and that maybe they'll turn up someday. But right now he had to focus on other things. Like what kind of projects he could invent to use on the new creatures.

He walked along the streets of Hogsmeade, observing any and every detail he could to give him and idea of what to do with the creatures being brought to him. As he walked he saw a couple sitting on a bench. The man had just proposed to the woman, and that right there gave him an idea. He had yet to test the reproduction patterns of any of the creatures he was working with. The couple got up and left soon after the man proposed and he sighed. That was one experiment to use, but now he still needed a couple more before he was to go back to the Ministry. He looked around and caught sight of a girl who he seemed to recognize but the clothes she wore threw off his recognition of her.

Cecilia looked around as hummed quietly. Soon her eyes rested on one person. She could have known him though there was a large possibility she didn’t know him but the man seemed to be looking at her. Was he watching her? Did her recognize her? She may have bumped into him once or twice in her years at Hogwarts. He couldn’t be much older than Elijah. Possibly just graduated from Hogwarts. She bit her lip and squinted her eyes for a moment then started packing her things. Wants that was done she stood up placing her bag on her shoulder and walking over to him, but she didn’t stop to talk. Instead she breezed by a few strands of her hair flying behind her. She stepped inside one of the stores and looked around. If he followed her he had been watching her, and if so she would be sure to find out why.
This particular store happened to be a wizarding book store. Smiling she ran her finger across the spines as she looked at the titles. Picking one up she looked to see what information it contained as she waited to see what he did.

Something inside him was saying he knew the girl he was looking at. He looked down for a moment after realizing he was beginning to stare and he really didn't feel like having people say that he must be some kind of pervert or something. That was the last thing he needed, to have a rumor about him going around and he really didn't want anyone at the Beast Department of the Ministry hearing that because they wouldn't let him live it down ever if they did hear something like that.

He was just about to turn away and walk into a nearby store when he noticed that the girl was coming his way. He doubted that it was to talk to him, so he just kept his back turned to her and when she passed him, he took a quick glance at her face. Suddenly something fell into place in his mind he recognised who it was. He didn't say anything to her after she walked away from him and his eyes followed her as she entered the same store he was going to go to.

Damn.

Now if Jake went in there it would seem like he was following her. But he really needed to get something from that bookstore. He needed a book on dragons that showed how to care for their offspring. What was he going to do now? Maybe he should wait for a few minutes to see if she came out soon. But what if she didn't her out for a while? He was in a tight spot here, and he finally decided that he should just walk in. After all he wasn't really following her. He needed something from the store, and even if she or anyone else took it the wrong way, that was their problem.

So with a slight tug on his jacket, Jake pushed the door open to the store and he quickly stepped inside. As soon as the door closed, he moved toward an isle that was about the care of magical creatures. If he could find the book he needed fast, he would be able to get out of there fast enough and he could leave before anyone had a chance to start any kind of rumor about him.

Cecilia narrowed her eyes when the bell above the door rang. It was the guy again. was he fallowing her? she kept her head down looking at the book as he walked by her twards the care of magical creatures section. closeing the book she was holding she desided it wasn't intresting and placed it back on the shelf where she had gotten it from. she went over and stood at the end of the isle he had entered. she tried to look as if she hadn't known he was there by looking at the spins of the books that stood on the shelf infront of her. casuly she glanced over at him and said "Didn't i just past you out side?" she asked quietly as if she had just bearly noticed him in passing. If he said yess he'd have a reason to ask if he were fallowing her.. if not then he would think she were stalking him. as she waited for his answer she picked up another book and opened it to some random page and skimmed though it before closeing it again.

Dragons were but one of the creatures he had to work with, that meant that he would need a lot of books for all the species he had to check things out on. He sighed, knowing that he would take longer than he wanted to get out of the store. But nonetheless he searched through everyone of the shelves normally until he finally found the book he needed for the dragons. He opened it to the part on their reproduction and he skimmed through the information that was on the pages. After he saw most of what was on the page he closed the book and decided to take it, it explained pretty much what he wanted to know.

In his search for the books he needed, he hadn't even noticed the girl was in the same isle as he was now. He had actually forgotten about why he had been so unwilling to come in here in the first place. He was just about to take another book off the shelf when he heard someone talk to him softly. He looked down slightly at see the same girl he had wanted to avoid while he was in there. He really didn't want to seem like he had been following her of something, so when she asked if she had passed him outside, he merely shrugged. "Dunno. I wasn't paying much attention." he said. It was actually quite believable since he had turned his back to her when she passed him.

He looked away from her back at the shelf where his hand was still extended and placed on the book he had wanted. He sighed and took the book off the shelf, it was on unicorns and he tried to remember if they were supposed to be doing some research on them soon. It seemed that they would in a little bit so he took the book without checking in it first, because he didn't really know what he would have to look at yet. Jake took another look at the shelf again and he found another book that might be interesting to read, even if they didn't study that particular creature. Either way he took it because he thought it might be good for some light reading when he didn't have anything else to do.
