It had been a while since Alexis visited Hogsmeade, even with the part-time job she had there, as a singer for the Three Broomsticks, she couldn't really find the time to go there to sing or anything. It was pretty annoying that she couldn't handle two jobs, she knew that alot of people did it, but they usually had a family to take care of. Right now Alexis didn't have anyone, she was basically all alone.
She had only come to tell the manager of the Three Broomsticks that she couldn't handle more than one job, and that she was sorry but she had to give up the job she had here, but before she could tell him anything, she found out that he had already planned a night for her to sing. She didn't want to disappoint him and when he mentioned it, she had no choice but to accept. Alexis just wasn't the type to let someone down, she just wasn't. So, now she had the burden of writing a new song for that night, that wasn't oo far away, and she had no ideas for what to write about.
Alexis sat at a table in the Three Broomsticks, looking down at a blank page where she was going to write the song. She was tapping a pencil in her hand lightly on her head, as she looked down at the page, thinking and thinking about what to write the song about. The first song she wrote had been easy for her, but now she just had too much on her mind to really focus on what she was doing. Alexis put the pencil down and rubbed her already hurting eyes, with one of her hands. She was so tired already, but she wanted to at least start the song before the day ended.
