Old habits die hard Empty Old habits die hard

Post by Felix Barker Wed Sep 28, 2011 7:57 pm

No matter how many detentions he gave out, and how many students complained about how boring they were, there were a few here and there he needed in order to keep himself sane. Melissa, Rhys and Sam, and now this girl, she looked like a real wuss, boring, unworthy of his attention, and perfect for his needs. The leaves had turned all different colors, and it was getting pretty chilly outside. But inside, the fires kept the rooms warm, and the hallways freezing. But the dungeons.. it was like a freezer. And that was perfect.

He had a new friend coming down for Detention. She hadn't really done anything worth a detention, but as it was.. he had given her one, and now he had to wait for her. It was freezing, and he pulled his cloak tighter to him. The room he was sitting in was... sparsely furnished. A table sat on the desk, with a quill beside a piece of parchment. He sat on an armchair, laid back, content but something inside him was itching. Like a need he had to have fulfilled, and he knew what it was, it was the same itch that had filled him before he had taken Melissa, and the itch that he felt when he had put Sam and Rhys through their detention in the woods, he was getting craftier though, and he knew that it was fine with him, he enjoyed their suffering, suffering by his hand of course.

Old habits die hard Empty Re: Old habits die hard

This was great, just great. With her being sick and her sister, Naomi, being even more sick than she was, serving a detention she didn't even deserve was the last thing Hitame needed. Of course the one to give her the detention was Professor Barker, oh how she hated him. Now being in a room alone with him disgusted her, but it also frightened her. She walked down to the dungeons with an emotionless expression. Even if she was afraid of him, she wouldn't allow him the satisfaction of seeing her frightened of him. She sighed heavily and continued to walk down to the room she was told to go to for detention, and she rubbed her arms. The further through the dungeons she went the colder it got, this was why she was ever down there. She wanted to take her time getting down there but she was afraid of what he might do if she was late. She wasn't afraid of what he might do to her, no, she was afraid of what he might do to her loved ones... Of what he might do to Naomi.

Finally she reached the room where she was supposed to be, and she peeked in, hoping that he wouldn't be there yet. To bad for her, Barker was already there and a small groan escaped from her lips, making it obvious that she was there. She closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath, before she walked into the room. She wanted to get this over with... quickly. She had to get back to taking care of Naomi as fast as possible. She sighed again and frowned. "Hello, Professor. Sorry to make you wait." she said, hating the fact she just called him Professor.

Felix looked up when the girl entered, and he leaned back in his armchair. "About time Ms. Higurashi." He said simply, watching her, and then gesturing at the table he had set up for her. "Lines..." He stated, pointing at the desk. She wouldn't be doing lines for very long actually, but as it was.. it was best to get her defenseless, think he was just being mean, before he became downright evil. Like he had with Melissa. "Write, I will put the date on my homework." He said and then smirked at her. "Until I say stop.." He headed off any questions she had and then pointed at the quill.

It was a standard looking quill, but it was obvious that it was the kind that hadn't been used since Professor Umbridge was in charge all those years ago. The kind that didn't use any ink to work, it used your blood, drawn from your hand. "You may set your bag down by the door.. you won't need anything from it." He said smiling at her. "Oh.. and leave your wand in your bag... I don't want to catch you trying to heal your hand or anything." He said, devilishly handsome in his armchair, laid back, and deadly.

The date... That was the reason she had gotten detention. All because she forgot to put the stuoid date on her homework. She really hated him, and this just fueled the hatred she had for him. Giving him a slight dirty look, she lowered her bag from her shoulder, and placed it on the floor. She took her wand out of her pocket and stared at it for a moment, before what he said sunk into her mind. Heal... her hand?! Why would she need to heal her hand from writing? She looked at him, her eyes widening, before she looked at her wand again and dropped it onto her bag.

She crossed over to the desk he had indicated, and sat down slowly, never taking her eyes off of him. She was scared... no she was terrified, especially now that he said, he didn't want her to try and heal her hand. She picked up the quill and studied it for a while, nothing seemed out of the ordinary with it, so she gave a small shrug and lowered it to the parchment that lay in front of her. As she wrote, she began to feel pain in her hand with every word she wrote down. She winced at the unknown pain and looked at her hand. She saw scratchs begin to for on her hand and her eyes widened. What the hell was going on? A small high-pitched noise escaped from her throat, as she continued to write, the pain increasing as she did so.

Felix looked over at the girl as she started to write. A smirk on his face as he did so. She seemed surprised at the use of the quill, and he watched amused, as she stared at it with discomfort, writing the same lines over and over, using her own blood for the ink. She had let out a soft squeak, and he couldn't help but smirk larger. "That will be an hour longer Ms. Higurashi... One more noise and I'll keep you all night." He hissed evilly, his eyes glued to the girl as the smell of blood wafted towards his nose. One reason he liked using this room, it allowed the smells to get to him easier, the cool air so cold, it made him want to grab her right there, but he waited, letting her settle into a pattern.

He did his research, whenever he chose a student to get his revenge on, he knew everything there was about them. Learned their family, their friends, found out who was important to them, fount out what they liked most, and when it came time to get back at them, he knew exactly how to get into their mind, to get them to do his bidding, to plead, to beg, to offer their own lives instead of their loved ones. It was the same every time, but so absolutely thrilling, he couldn't help but love it.

He stood up and went over to his bag, which was laying, conveniently, next to the one she had dropped by the door. Without so much as an extra movement, he pulled out a book from his bag, and her wand from hers, stuffing it into his pocket he turned around and went back to his armchair, opening his book to the correct page and starting to read silently, acting as though nothing was amiss.

Keep me all night, my butt... Hitame thought coldly as she continued to write, acting as through she hadn't heard him. An extra hour was fine, it wasn't like Naomi would die during that hour she was kept longer. Her hand felt like it was on fire now, but she held back the urge to scream, by biting her lip. She really didn't want to see if he would keep her all night, so she just kept her mouth shut now. Hitame looked at her hand and saw the scratches were deeper and more red, with the blood that trying to come out. She winced again and closed her eyes momentarily, before she continued to write again.

Now all that was on her mind was Naomi. Even the pain couldn't draw her thoughts away from her sister, how fragile and defenseless she is, especially against Barker. Her eyes lifted from the parchment for a moment as she looked at him, hoping he wouldn't even think about doing anything to Naomi. Because if he did... she wouldn't hesitate... to try to kill him. Naomi was the only thing she had left that was important to her, and she wouldn't let anyone hurt her in any way.

She watched him go over to the bag that was near hers... how did she not notice that before? She thought he was going to go through her bag now, but instead she only saw him grab a book, and she looked back down at the parchment and continued to write, even though her hand felt like it would fall off at any minute.

Felix glanced over at Hitame, and felt a smirk cross his face. At least she wasn't ugly, he couldn't do this with an ugly girl. He looked back down at his book, and then carefully pulled her wand out of his pocket. He stared at it for a long moment, testing it in his hand. It definitely wasn't his own seasoned wand. The one that had seen blood, seen gore, but for the moment, it was just satisfying to see it turn against it's own master for a mere moment. He watched her back as she wrote, watching the cuts deepen on her hand, soon she would forget about that tiny pain.. he would make sure of it.

Felix trained her wand on her back, and could feel an odd tingling going up his arm. It didn't want him to curse her, but it wasn't like it was a horrible spell, he closed his eyes and concentrated on the tingling, before he opened it, and whispered under his breath. "Stupify." He knew there was little chance of his missing, but even so, he jumped to his feet, his book falling to the floor, as the wand flew to point at the door and it locked wit ha soft click, the lights in the room dimmed, and Felix turned his gaze to the figure of Hitame.

She felt him behind her, watching what she was doing. She felt temped to write something bad toward him on the parchment where he could see it, but it would only result in more punishment for her... or Naomi. She felt even more burning in her hand, and she finally just threw the quill down onto the desk and began to try and rub her hand. But the pain was strong and she just couldn't touch it anymore. She stared at the quill and began to curse in her mind. Some of them at Barker and some at the quill. She was cursing at Barker, just because he was cruel, and making her sit there doing this just because she forgot the stupid date on her homework.

Hitame sighed and picked the quill back up, but she didn't write. She didn't want to feel anymore pain from the stupid quill. But then, just as she was about to start writing again, she heard him mutter something, and suddenly she felt a spell hit her, and she collapsed over on the desk from the impact of the spell. Why hadn't she seen this coming? It was so obvious that he would do something like this... he was a murder after all. Now the last thing to go through her mind was, Naomi! Please don't go after my sister!.

Felix smirked and watched as she slumped over her desk, unconcious, it was to easy, she had defied him again, and sure her punishment was a bit severe for not having the date on her homework, but hey... he made it clear, follow directions, and you won't get hurt... first of all, she had stopped writing, meaning she deserved an all night detention, but as it was, he had things to do first. For the first part, he pointed at the wall with her wand, and another door appeared out of nowhere, as though the wall was just waiting to become a door again. Felix smiled and pointed at Hitame, watching as her body floated up, and then went through the door, and into the other room in there, where she was strapped into an operation table, her wrists, ankles, waist, and neck, strapped down securely so she couldn't move.

Felix then flicked his wand at the door. A note appeared on it saying they had finished detention early, the room would be empty, and then he flicked his wand at the bags on the floor, they flew into the room with Hitame and Felix took one more glance at the room, before he went into the room after Hitame, and closed the door, which immediately just became another blank wall, nothing more, so they were completely gone, a spell Felix had perfected in Hogwarts.

Felix turned and looked at Hitame, setting her wand on the table that was pressed against a wall in the room, and then pulled out his own wand, pointing it at her. "Wake up..." he whispered and grinned. "Renneverate." Luckily she wouldn't be hurt.. yet, only her hand, but she would be soon... in more then just physical pain, he knew about her darling sister Naomi, and though it hurt him to hurt anyone with the same name as his fiancee, it was necessary to use against her. "Good morning love.." He whispered to the tied down prisoner he now had.

Hitame opened her eyes slowly and quickly glanced around the room, completely confused from the sudden change of scenery around her. She was now in a different room, and when she tried to move she noticed that she was tied down and she began to struggle to get free. But no matter how much she tried, she just couldn't move to get free and this was really aggrivating her. The atmosphere of this room, was even worse than the one of the other room, this one was more threatening... alot more threatening.

She looked at Felix and frowned. "Let me go!" she said in an unsteady voice. She was terrifed of what he was going to do now, and she highly doubted someone would be able to help her, and she turned her head a little to try and find a way to get out of this room. She looked back at him, and bit her lip. "Please... let me go..." I have to protect Naomi... she felt tears begin to sting in her eyes, but she blinked to push them back. She can't let him see her cry, it would only make him feel superior to her.

Why do these things happen to me? It's always me... she thought sadly. "It's all because of my stupid parents..." she muttered softly under her breath. Her parents... they were just like Barker... mean and willing to kill anyone that got in their way. Even some of the most important people in their daughters lives. It wasn't fair... because of them Hitame's adoptive parents were gone now. She hated them, totally and completely hated them, why couldn't they just understand that? It wasn't very hard to know that hse hated them, and then they could just leave her and Naomi alone.
