Scared Of Space Empty Scared Of Space

Post by Roxanne Avery Weasley Tue Sep 06, 2011 2:28 am

Roxi did not think right when she was high. Well, okay, that was sort of obvious of anyone, but a lot of people thought that she was ‘immune’ or something. To certain stuff, she was. To Spice, however, she was not. Someone in the Gryffindor common room had offered her some- it had only been she and a few other people there, after all, and none of them had been brave enough to try Spice. Roxi had broken the awkwardness of everyone being chicken and volunteered.

She was a lot weirder on Spice. She had started giggling a lot, first off, which made the spectators laugh. And then she had begun dancing, crazily, wildly, no method in her madness. The running man into a ballet spin, into a tango while she held the ends of her hair out. Then she had begun flirting with who she thought was this attractive seventh year and turned out to be a coatrack.

That was when she began to think evil house elves were after her. She could see their eyes, hear them moving, so she said she was going to go on a walk. They tried to stop her but she stumbled out of the common room and none of them wanted to be caught out of bed after hours, so they left her on her own, what loyal housemates.

Roxi was scared, and she was not sure she was. She made her way up to the astronomy tower and stared up at the stars. The colors were all swirling together and at first it was great fun. Then she noticed how much blackness surrounded the stars. She looked at the sky from all angles of the astronomy tower and all she saw was space. So much space. Her heart began thumping and she tried to find where space ended, only to find something incredibly terrible, something she had known forever, but had never really registered.

It didn’t end.

She turned and took off running, tripping and falling down the stairs, whimpering and crying until she pushed open a door and ran inside. She stepped on one of her feet and was sent flying forward, her chin sliding over the ground as she lay sprawled out. She slowly gathered herself and snuck over to a corner, whimpering and crying.

No end. No way out.

Scared Of Space Empty Re: Scared Of Space

"Mmmmm." Simone, a Seventh Year Ravenclaw girl, had lost herself in Kendall's eyes. Or so it seemed. The boy was merely satisfying his taste for intelligent girls. This one had helped with his homework, like all the other Ravenclaw girls that were rewarded with his loving after that. Intelligence, power, they were major boners for him, so were pain in other people. The first two were easier to look for, though. After all, to have the third one was to be allowed to someone's private party, or to be the perpetrator of the pain, of which he would have to go to the trouble to cover his tracks. It was certainly not as easy as just looking for pleasure with witty girls. He liked, above all, to render them into a speechless mass for him, to watch intelligent conversations falter in the haze of pleasure. Such power came from that. Simone was his latest pet from Ravenclaw. She was decent-looking, very intelligent, and she was obsessed with him. What could be better? Unlike the lack of privacy in the library, the classroom for Muggle Studies was much better. Not many people would wander into a classroom after class hours. Besides, Simone had suggested it, muttering about how the Professor was not in her office.

It had all began as a conventional session of doing some homework together. Kendall had got some readings done, while Simone had told him the answers to his Divination homework, a subject he could care less about. Besides, he cared more about her, not her as a person, but her as an instrument for his pleasure. Of course, she was not privy to his thoughts. She was duped, like the others, into believing that he cared. After all, Kendall liked to have his toys love him before he played with them. It was not fun when they had less attachment to him. There was no art in that. Unless, he was the one with the emotions instead, which never happened. He had bigger things on his mind. They were merely tools to lay off the stress that came with being a Rookwood, poised to become someone even more effective than Augustus himself.

The deed was done, leaving both boy and girl happy, for very different reasons. Kendall had whispered the sweet-nothings that were needed, but which were already as familiar to him as his own name. Simone was very pleased. She had ruffled his hair, played with it, and hugged his face against her chest, as if he were some precious little puppy of hers. Kendall relished the affections, and merely grinned and smiled, as if for a camera. And then she had left, returning to the safety of her dormitory, while he remained in the classroom, lazy to make the trip back down to the Slytherin Dungeons. Kendall reached for his knapsack, brought a pack out, and lit a cigarette. He was still lying on the tables that they had joined together to lie down on. His robes were strewn on a chair near him, so were his pants, and then the shoes, on the floor, just below him. For decency's sake, Kendall had swivelled so that he was sitting up, with his legs dangling a little from the side of the tables. They did not have to dangle however, since they were long. Soon, Kendall had slipped on his briefs and aligned a chair in front of him to rest his feet on. He continued to smoke, lazily.

Suddenly, the door of the classroom flew open, but Kendall did not jump to cover his nakedness. He was used to such situations. He stared, calmly, at the intrusion. The door had swung to a close, and Kendall eyed the girl who had slipped into the class, literally. When he realised who it was, he smirked in amusement, trying to hold back the laughters at the way she had entered. After all, with the way she looked, laughter did not seem to be a good thing to effect in the room. Despite his presence, she had not noticed him. Instead, Roxi had snuck into a corner, not as if she hid from his view, but she went to the corner at the end of the classroom, and was ... crying? Kendall took a drag of his cigarette, a habit he merely did socially, and allowed the exhale to come out slowly, enjoying it.

"You look like you need some of these," He broke the silence, and waved the packet of cigarettes that he had, before grinning at Roxi. While he had only known her briefly, Kendall never really saw the girl around. That one time that they had spent alone was a short one, and nothing happened besides some flirtation. She was, after all, a Gryffindor. Everyone knew a Weasley, too. His membership in the popular Slytherin group was always something to be considered before he let himself loose on anyone. Then again, it was all a contradiction. Kendall had known people in the group to do things absolutely not expected of them. He had kept those knowledge like pawns on a chess, waiting for the calculated moment of revelation. Besides, he had done so many things that they would not approve either. It was, really, all a ball of contradictions.

Kendall was not embarrassed about the little clothes he had on. He got off the table and stood on the ground comfortably. He threw Roxi a wink, before putting the cigarette between his lips. Then, he reached for his pants and slipped them on. Once that was done, Kendall reached for the white uniform-shirt, and donned it lazily too. He made no explanation of why he was undressed, not that he would need to since Roxi had a bit of a reputation herself. Besides, he did not have to account anything to her. Too lazy to button up, Kendall brought the cigarettes away from his lips and exhaled. He began to walk to where Roxi was, and ran his hand through his hair, as if it was any effort to take away what Simone had ruffled up. Soon, he had sat himself down beside the Gryffindor girl. Kendall turned to her and grinned.

"If you're looking for trouble, you came to the right place." He teased, and then he offered the pack to her, a lighter ready in his other hand.

Scared Of Space Empty Re: Scared Of Space

Roxi was completely unaware of the things going on around her. She could still see the blackness, that terrible inky blackness that seemed to be stained on her eyes, engraved in her mind. The specks of white that were, apparently, massive balls of fire burning millions of miles away. Swirling constellations that haunted her vision, ghosts on the edge of her mind.

No escape. Oh God. No escape.

A voice made her scream softly, more of a gasping exclamation really, and her eyes lifted to look at him. She stared at him, her eys bloodshot and bulging. No matter how much one had done any drug, the side effects did not change, did not lesson. They did not become easier the more 'professional' of an addict you became. And it was clear that, while a pro addict, Roxi did not mesh well with Spice.

The person the voice belonged to waved cigarettes and she vaguely connected them to calmness, the feeling that they always seemed to bring her. She put her arms out. "Gimme, gimme!" she said, her hands reaching for the cigarettes desperately. She did not bother to even question who it was that was offering her an addictive substance... just went for the nicotine.

The figure stood and began to dress. "Oh, you're neked," she said, pronouncing it as such before giggling. "D'aw, okay!" She said, reaching to unbotton her shirt- but her shirt was not a button up. She mimed throwing off her shirt and shouted, "Wooo!" And then she saw another flash of stars and yelped, burying her face in her hands. "Space!" she whimpered.

She felt the figure join her and she looked up. A pack of cigarettes was beneath her nose. she reached out and carefully removed one, sticking it between her lips and jutting her head forward for him to light. But she suddenly realized who it was and opened her mouth to talk, the cigarette falling from her lips. "Oh hey! It's you! That kid! Ken... Kenny. Ken doll. Hehehe... Ken doll. Am I Barbie? Noo... KENDALL! You! You, my friend, are Kendall!" She giggled.

Not only did Roxi slip into the classroom, she looked like she slipped a little too much into her being. Kendall had a kind of idea about the things a bunch of Gryffindor kids do, the bunch that Roxi seemed to be a part of. They were in life, to lose themselves, it seemed. They were known for their reckless ways, and Kendall found stories about them to be of amusement. He could not say if he agreed or disagreed with their lifestyle. He was not a judgemental person. There was no right or wrong. There was just whether people were useful or not, to him. That was all that mattered. Roxi was certainly useful. Rather than having mean words or thoughts towards her, Kendall had been rather friendly with her. She seemed harmless, and looked like a lot of fun, if he could ... ease it out from her. He certainly did not care if she really was feeling fine, or not. The girl looked like a good end to the night. He was already chuckling to whatever she was saying, words of delirium. He had played along when Roxi mimed the action of undressing, feigning a motion to catch the 'clothes' she had tossed randomly through the air.

Kendall had leaned closer towards Roxi with the offer of his lighter. But before he could light the cigarette for her, it fell and landed on her lap, before rolling off to the space between her thighs. Kendall smirked, before he eyed the girl as she tried to identify him. "Mmm, yes. It's me. No, I'm not a kid. But you can be my Barbie, if you want." He grinned, before nodding when Roxi began to proclaim his name loud, and then louder still. And then, Kendall reached between the girl's thighs, for the cigarette that had landed there. He did it slowly, teasingly, taking advantage of the situation, and of the stupor that the girl seemed to be in. After a long while, he brought his hand up, the cigarette between his fingers. Kendall stubbed his own on the floor next to him, then flicked it far away, watching the projectile of its motion, flying away helplessly from his disregard of it. And then, he lit the one he wanted to give to Roxi. Once it was lit, Kendall brought the cigarette to Roxi's lips, before he pushed it gently through them.

"There, present." He said, and smirked. Kendall relaxed against the wall of the classroom, before turning his head back to the girl, slightly resting his head on his right shoulder, while the tip of it touched Roxi's left shoulder. "So, Barbie, what're you doing here in the dead of the night? It's not everyday that Ken is here to keep those monsters under the bed away from you." He chuckled, before he soon felt bored of the Ken and Barbie game. Kendall reached for the packet of cigarettes in his pants pocket again, and brought one out to light. He took a drag, and relaxed against Roxi's shoulder, not one to shy away from contact.

Scared Of Space Empty Re: Scared Of Space

Roxi liked Kendall. Most of the Slytherins were ignorant prats and, when necessary, she allowed herself to lump him into that group of people. But when it came down to it, Kendall was a cool guy. Not that she was thinking things in such a conencted way. Her thought process was more like Kendall good... smelly Slytherin... smells good though... good snogger that one time... fun fun fun fun.... but Slytherin... crazy though.... partying partying YEAH... Good Ken doll.

She was not really concerned about the cigarette- she was not concerned about anything right now, besides escaping that terrible, terrible darkness that was so intent on eating her alive. Maybe she could distract herself with something... There was Kendall, there was shiny objects, there was alcohol and nicotine. Yes a distraction would do nice.

She was distracted thinking about distractions and suddenly, Kendall's hand was slipping against her thighs and she raised her gaze, giggling. "Hey," she so eloquently said. She giggled again and leaned forward. "You think you're sly!" He lit the cigarette and lifted it to her lips. She slowly parted them, her eyes on him to see how he was reacting, and she took the cigarette.

Though her mind was not functioning, her body reacted and she raised a hand to hold the cigarette. It was muscle memory, her arm knew what to do. Kendall snuggled closer and she smiled down at him, glad to have someone to hold her to reaity. He asked her what she was doing out and about and she threw her arms in the air. "Just wanted some fun! But I got scared of space, and now chase is spacing me! I mean-" she sputtered into laughter. "I messed it up!"

Scared Of Space Empty Re: Scared Of Space

Kendall wondered if he could ever take Roxi seriously. She was, to him, an epitome of impulsiveness. She did everything as and when it suited her, giving no thought to anything except if it felt fun for the moment. But of course, Kendall never took girls seriously. The ugly ones did not exist for him, while the pretty ones were playthings. And then there were those who made more fun toys, one of whom was Roxi. He would have gotten to her sooner if there was an opportunity. He would not even attempt to make her fall for him. She was not good for homework like Ravenclaws, and it was no use working on someone who had a reputation for sleeping around without the need to feel. That was the mean rumour about the girl, and Kendall was not unaware of it. He did not think it bad, though. She sounded a little like him, and it made him curious about her.

As much as Kendall was a little exhausted from his earlier time with Simone, he could not help but let his curiosity do things that he was typical of. The trip to look for the fallen cigarette had made him brush the back of his left hand against the inside of Roxi's left thigh, slowly and hopefully. When Roxi began to smoke it, with his hell, Kendall watched her, grinning at her, taking delight in her girlish looks. If not for the bloodshot eyes, one would have though Roxi to be a child-like charmer, not that the drugs made her any less; they merely suggested a darker side of her.

While resting his head on Roxi's shoulder, Kendall took a drag of his cigarette before looking up again, laughing at what she had said. Hoping to have her attention on him, Kendall inhaled from his cigarette, and blew smoke rings to Roxi, his eyes twinkling with playfulness as they watched the smoke rings shift in the air to the girl. And then Kendall stuck his tongue through the last ring, bedew chuckling at the act.

"Mmm, Roxi. What, a, pleasure," He began, running a finger up from her left knee to the top of her upper thigh, on the outside. "And chase spaced you here so we can net gasty?" Kendall laughed, before he leaned towards the girl, letting his lips scrape across her neck gently. If he had known that Roxi would send her way to where he was, he would have had Simone fill his other days. Roxi was more exciting, after all. Still, Kendall was not about to let Roxi go.

"Mmmmm darling," he continued. "What're you on tonight?"

Scared Of Space Empty Re: Scared Of Space

Post by Roxanne Avery Weasley Sat Sep 10, 2011 11:16 pm

Roxi hummed a song, some random song she had picked up on the muggle radio at home, an oldie from Roxi's favorite muggle artist Katy Perry. Roxi adored the woman, who was all about freedom and expression, who wanted love, sex, drug, rock n roll. And the woman was attractive as hell, which made Roxi look up to her. And she would admit it, Roxi did have a girl crush on the singer. So, yes, she did know pretty much every one of the singer's songs, so when her brain was gone and forgot basic things like how to walk, the lyrics and rhythms remained.

Kendall leaned forward and blew smoke rings on her and she caught her cigarette from her lips and between her fingers, leaning forward to bite at the smoke. She giggled, her face engulfing in the smoke, and her eyelids entering into an irritated spasm as smoke burned her eyes. Though her mind was unaware of pain, her body was fighting off any possible immediate threats.

He rubbed her leg and she felt cozy under his touch. When people touched her it reminded her that she was wanted, loved, pursued. It reminded her that she was real, that she would not suddenly float off into nothingness, to be swallowed by space. She took a drag of her cigarette and began forming smoke rings of her own, half listening to Kendall. "Uh-huh," she answered, blinking, her mouth open wide as she released the smoke from her throat.

His words meant little in comparison to the vessels that carried him, those of which were now running against her neck. She smiled, feeling trailing shivers as, again, her body reacted in a way her mind would not be able to. More affection, more touching. She loved it all. It gave her reason, purpose, meaning, focus... it held her to existence.

His next words registered. "Mmm, Spice," she answered. Everyone at Hogwarts had heard of Spice, and they all knew it was pretty much strictly used in Hogwarts, seeing as Keith was the creator. That little munchkin was a genius, in Roxi's distingushed opinion. "It's nice. Spice is nice. I don't use it often.. I need a regular supply."

Scared Of Space Empty Re: Scared Of Space

She was adorable, only because she behaved almost child-like to Kendall. It seemed a contradiction, though. If she was really so child-like, then what was with the not so child-like rumours about the girl that spread like wildfire through the school? Kendall knew there had to be something more about Roxi. Why did she have to put up an act, or why did she have to chalk up enough deeds for a reputation like that? Again, he was not concerned. Or rather, he was concerned only out of curiosity, as if she was a kind of specimen one was interested to dissect. Kendall listened to the tune that Roxi had began to hum, but it was foreign to him. He stopped trying to guess, chuckling instead at how the girl was trying to bit at the smoke rings he had created. And then she began to makes ones on her own. Smirking, Kendall stuck his tongue into some of them, pretending to lick at the intangible smoke.

While he had moved on to something more tangible, like Roxi's neck, her words brought him back to attention to her words. Kendall paused to look at the girl, specifically at how her eyes looked, since he now knew what she was on. The room, however, was a little dim. He did not think he had a good view of her, and so he shrugged and asked, "is that so? ... I like a regular supply of something else." Kendall winked suggestively at the girl and licked his lips. "But of course, Spice doesn't hurt, either." Kendall let his head fall back against the wall, but he slanted it close to Roxi, and took a deep breath of her smell. "Mmmmm, girls on spice are even better." And then he feigned ignorance, "I meant, spicy girls, are ... hotter, of course. More then Spice." Kendall grinned, bringing his hand up to ruffle his hair, before he moved it to ruffle hers up too.

"Weasley, your hair is spicy, isn't it?" Kendall grinned, and stuck his tongue out, as if he wanted to taste her hair. "Mmmmm, spiceeeee," he sniffed at it, acting foolish with her. "So, Spicy, what have you been up to, with life, of course ..." It wouldn't hurt to learn more, since there were interesting stories about her. What better than a first-hand account? Not that he thought she might give it, but Kendall wanted to test his luck. He had always been looked upon as one of the least threatening Slytherins, after all.
