Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Roxi rocked on the back of her heels, staring at the shelf with great indecision, her eyes wide as she knawed on her lip. She bounced to shrug the backpack up higher on her back and she danced a little, which caused her sunglasses to fall off their perch on her head onto her nose. She let out a little squeal of irritation and pushed the back up.

"Sev, there are just toooooo many lollipops to choose from," she pouted, glancing over at her friend, shocked to see he wasn't there. The crowd in Honeydukes had thickened and she looked around. "Uh oh. Sev?" She could not see her friend, and this was not good news. This was a dreadful tragedy!

"Sev?!" She began to bounce on her heels to try and see over the crowd, something usually not a problem for the long-legged girl. "SEV?!" She began to leap into the air, her shirt fluttering up so that she had to flatten an arm to keep it in place. Her glasses began to fall and as they did she caught them. She stopped and looked into them pouting.

That's when she saw the reflection of the glasses and spotted Sev. She whirled around. Yes, he had been on her other side the entire time. "Oh.." People stared at her for a moment. She grinned. "I found you!" She threw her arms around her friend in a big hug, squeezing him tightly and probably knocking the air out of him before releasing him. "That scared me. Anywho, which lollipops should I get?"

Honeydukes appealed to everyone, sweet tooth or otherwise. Sevastian had an insatiable sweet tooth; much like his mother so any kind of sweet shop was perfect for him. With his hyperactive friend as company though, it probably wasn’t the best place in the world to have gone. Sevastian was sure Roxanne wasn’t quite all there but he didn’t mind; she was a laugh. She was a Weasley though; which was a name that impressed those that knew about the war. Most Purebloods still sneered at it but Sevastian didn’t care either way. He adored his friend – even if she was out of her pigging tree – and didn’t care whether she had four legs and eighteen tentacles growing out of each butt cheek; she was just his friend, his messy, hyperactive friend.

But she also had the tendency to be completely oblivious to everything going on around her. Sevastian had told her he was going over to look at the chocolates and five minutes later, his name was being hollered across the shop as if it were going out of fashion.

Sevastian turned away from the display and looked over to see his redheaded friend hopping about in search of him. She was insane.

It didn’t take long for her to find him in the end though and she soon enveloped him in a hug that would surely break his ribs. Sevastian gasped in air and threw his arms around her hesitantly, returning the hug. When she pulled away, Sevastian bent over, gasping in deep breaths of the oxygen the Weasley had deprived him of.

“I told you where I was going!” Sevastian protested through wheezes. He straightened up after regaining a normal breathing pattern and he looked over at the lolly pops she was pointing to. “Oooh!” Sevastian’s hand shot out and he picked up a handful of assorted lollies. He held them up to his face, a mischievous smile on his face, and looked at Roxi with a large grin on his pretty little face. “Get all of them. Then we can have lollypop wars. Ca-pow!” He wielded a lolly and poked her in the cheek, his grin impossibly widening all the while.

When she released Sev, Roxi watched as he gasped for air, a big goofy grin on her face. "Oops," she said, shrugging and throwing her hands up. "I sometimes forget I'm strong. That's what happens when you're training to be a cagefighter." She struck a pose, curling her arms inward, her hands balled into fists, a look of intimidating concentration on her face before she ruined it with a giggle.

He recovered and explained that he had told her. She stared at him, blinking. Right. He had, now that she had thought about it. Almost immediately after her indecision had begun he had said something to her- if she recalled it was something like blah blah blah blah- and then he had strolled away, and a few moments later she had freaked out. "Oh yeeeeeah," she said. "I forgot."

She loved the way Sev thought. She giggled madly and then he brought up the war. "Ooh!" she squealed, grabbing one and flipping it upside down, holding it like a sword. She bent her knees and said, "Ready for you, I am," imitating Yoda- she was a classic nerd when it came to muggle sci fi. She jabbed Sev in his stomach, ignoring the looks they were getting.

Sevastian’s eyes widened to the size of saucers; though, not those Flying Saucers that Honeydukes sold. There was no way Roxi was training to be a cage fighter though Sevastian wasn’t going to put it past her. He was currently training to be a Jedi. He’d put an ad in the Daily Prophet but he’d come up with nothing. Still, roaming about Honeydukes with his cage fighting friend was just as good. Is that what they did, cage fighters? Did they fight cages? Sevastian wasn’t sure but he made a mental note to look it up later. Sevastian laughed when she mentioned it though and quickly blocked her retaliation with her lollypop.

“You didn’t even listen to me did you?” Sevastian exclaimed, amusement his voice as he leaned down to poke her thigh. “You have much to learn, my young Padawan!” He quoted much like she did and flourished his lollypop before adding on the spur, “Oooh! Let’s go and get some fudge!” Sevastian grabbed Roxi’s hand and pulled her through the crowd towards the fudge display. “I’m hungryyyyyyy....for some fudge!” He sang happily, bounding over to where the display was. “I’m gonnnnnnaaa spppeeend my father’s money!” He finished his song and looked at Roxi excitedly. “What do you want? I’ll buy!”

She squealed with laughter as he called her padawan and she whacked his lollipop stick with hers, making the lightsaber noise. "Whwoau."* She giggled and he asked is she had listened to him at all. She blinked once, twice and then shook her head, her hair whipping around her. "Uh-uh." She grinned, sticking her tongue out as she did so.

He grabbed her hand and pulled her through the crowd towards the fudge, as she added back up vocals to his song. "Oh yeah! Uh huh! Fudge, baby, fudge! Woo hoo!" She giggled and then he announced that he was buying fudge. She gasped pressing her hands and nose against the glass of the display. "I want rasberry! NO! Caramel. NO NO NO NO! MINT CHOCOLATE!" She jumped up and down, her tongue lolling out. "I want miiiiint, chocolaaaate, chiiiiiiiiii-puh!"

We're Normal, We Promise.. Empty Re: We're Normal, We Promise..

As the excitement bubbled up within the young Hufflepuff, colour exploded over the mane of white-blonde hair that he’d left to its own devices that day. The colours mixed and quickly settled on a flame red - ginger - that oddly matched Roxi in a round-about way; even though, as she frequently reminded him, she was only half ginger; just like Debbie from Ravenclaw was only half Lesbian. Sevastian wasn’t half anything he didn’t think. He wasn’t Half-Blooded and he certainly wasn’t the half-empty-glass kind of guy. His glass was filled to the top; his blood was as pure as the snow his pallor was often compared to. Perhaps it was only his sock drawer; the sock drawer that was so lacking in socks, that remained half of anything. Certainly though, life was ruled in halves and wholes. For once, Sevastian wondered what it would be like if it was a quarter - or an eighth.

Though, he was sure these thoughts were due to his mind being addled with sugar.

Like Roxi had done, Sevastian pressed his face up against the glass, drinking in the sights to behold with his silvery orbs. He glanced up at the man - who couldn’t have been anymore than eighteen or nineteen - behind the counter and smiled brightly. He returned the smile slowly and slyly, causing Sevastian to flush pink and look away under the imposing gaze. He cleared his throat and looked at Roxi as she waffled on about fudge. His mind was working at the same pace though he did so silently. His mind was buzzing inside its little bony capsule. It wanted Mint and Caramel just like she did but it also wanted Hazelnut and some weird flavour that had to do with dates and fruits of the forest. Sevvy lifted his head and opened his mouth to ask the man to bag up the fudge but he seemingly beat him to it, his low baritone filling Sevastian’s ears and warming its way through his body.

“Find what you wanted, doll?”

Pitifully, Sevastian’s heart sank. He sucked in a shaky breath and fumbled for his wallet that he’d tucked into one of the inner pockets of his bag. He lowered his head, the colour of his hair dimming with embarrassment and shame, and he managed to retrieve his wallet, despite his shaking hands unable to quite pry the small change out of one of the even tinier inner pockets. He pulled the clasp on his wallet and opened it up, managing to take from it a few galleons to pay for the fudge with. Sevastian cleared his throat and licked his lips anxiously before poking his finger against the glass, gesturing to the first stack of fudge that Roxi had asked for.

“Raspberry please - and, um,” Sevastian swept his finger across the surface, caressing the cool glass with the pad off his elongated finger. It was a Krum trait, to have ‘pianists fingers’ apparently. “Caramel, please, and Mint Chocolate. Um.” Sevastian then gestured to a few other fudges and the man obliged, that irksome smirk lingering on his lips as he shovelled scoop after scoop of fudge into little brown paper bags. By the time he was finished with his request, there were a dozen or so bags on the counter and the man looked incredibly pleased with himself - it was hardly a day’s work though.

“So, how about your name?” He asked, winking. Sevastian bit his lip and felt his cheeks warm up again.

“How much for the fudge?” Sevastian asked quietly.

“Two galleons, eighteen sickles and your name.” He purred, leaning over the counter to get a better look at Sevastian.

“Oh, um.” Sevastian took a step back, his blush disappearing underneath his shirt. “Really, I’m sorry...we have to go. Can I just give you four galleons?”

The man sighed. “Sure.”

Sevastian handed the galleons over and stole the bags from the side before hurrying Roxi away, or at least, guiding her towards the door. He didn’t want to stay under the man’s gaze for longer than necessary. He felt exposed, naked, and although the feeling was oddly thrilling, Sevastian knew it was far from proper.

We're Normal, We Promise.. Empty Re: We're Normal, We Promise..

Roxi's eyes were desperately seaching the fudge counter, her fingers pressed against the glass, making a funny squeaky nosie because she refused to move her hand but instead drug it across the glass, her palms pressed tightly against it. She licked her cherry red lips, smacking them exitedly and heard the clerk speak, assuming he was adressing her- she was irresistiable, after all.

She opened her mouth to answer him, looking up, and saw that hw was not looking at her. What? She could not comprehend. Her expression morphed into s surprised disbelief, following his gaze to Sev- and from there her face lit up with a gleeful realization. Ooh, scandal! She closed her mouth, her teeth clicking together as she did. She tilted her head back to the clerk, her eyes twinkling with a sort of satisfied smirk. This was just too great.

Sev named off the fudge and the super hunk behind the counter obliged them by bagging up the different chunks of fudge, and since he was obviously uninterested in Roxi, she let herself look him up and down without shame- may as well, right? It was not like she was ruining her chances. She glanced over at Sev, who seemed thoroughly flustered.

Silly Sev.

The clerk asked Sev's name and Roxi giggled. Sev, for whatever reason, did not want to hear any of it, and Roxi shot him a look trying to goad him into just giving the clerk his name. Roxi did not care of Sev was straight, gay, or bi- Roxi had never asked honestly. But if a sexy man was asking your name, you gave it, regardless.

Sev paid and began to lead her away. The second he loosened his grip she slowed, allowing him to pass. She turned and flounced back to the counter, tossing her arms across the counter, leaning forward, eyes sparkling up at the clerk- who looked sort of terrified. "His name is Sev, that's all I'll tell." She grinned. And then thought, why not? "And I'm Roxi Weasley." She winked and turned around, flouncing after Sev.

Sev had gotten outside and she sprung from the doorway of the shop and flung her arms around her friend from behind, squeezing him. "Sev, you dog! Why didn't you give in to temptation?! You're already given into one!" She flicked the bag of fudge, giggling.
