Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Darkness and Fire Empty Darkness and Fire

Yumi sat in the common room for quite a while now. Like many other nights, she couldn't sleep. Something was keeping her up, but what could it be? She had laid in her bed for almost an hour, just staring at the ceiling, hoping she would just go back to sleep. But she didn't and she also didn't want to just lay there all night, she might as well do something.

She quietly got up from her bed and rummaged around in her trunk, making the least amout of noise as possible, for her favorite book. She might as well read it, if she couldn't do anything else. But there wasn't enough light in the dormitiories for her to read the book, so she quietly slipped on her shoes and walked out of the girl's dorm. She made her way to the common room and sat down on the coach that was there.

It was so calm and quiet at that time, everyone was asleep so there was no one to bother her. She opened the book and took the bookmark out. She began to read from the line that said, Time was up, there was nothing more I could do. The book was a mystery/adventure story. There was a little girl of maybe 13 years of age and her mother had been shot. By who she didn't know, and she planned to get her revenge, no matter what she had to do.

Darkness and Fire Empty Re: Darkness and Fire

Post by Avril Dragonheart Tue Jun 21, 2011 1:59 am

Avril was in her bed under her blanket and reading some scary stories, she thought she heard something and tried to look around through the other side of her bed, and thought she saw a girl with long silky brown hair.

She went back to reading after she saw the girl getting a book and going somewhere to read. Avril thought one of her pages was bent from not putting a book mark in, but it was a little bent. She sighed reading and she decided to sneak over to the bed and put a fake snake on it.

Once the she got the fake snake on the bed she went to her bed and went back to reading trying to read without interruptions, so she quickly went back under her blanket to look at the end of the book to see what the last story was.

Yumi sat in the common room, not even reading now. Which was her intial intention. She wanted to read but now she was getting tired. She looked at the book in her hands and sighed. She wanted to finish the book badly, she had been reading it for about 2 weeks. It wasn't even that long of a book, about 380 pages maybe? Yumi had read longer books before. But she couldn't now. She felt her eyes grow heavier and heavier and she decided to go back to bed.

Maybe now she would be able to fall asleep. She got up from the coach and walked toward the dormitiories again. When she entered she looked around to see if anyone was awake. It didn't seem like it so she tried not to make any noise again. She placed her book back into her trunk as quietly as she possibly could. She walked closeer to her bed, unaware that there was a fake snake in there.

When she sat down she felt something under her and she quickly jumped up a little frightened. She let out a small scream of surprise when she saw the snake. But she noticed it didn't move, so she got closer to it and picked it up. Fake. She clenched her hand tightly around the snake and threw it to the ground. She was mad now, and she didn't know who to take her anger out on now. It seemed like there was no one awake.
