Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Ariel couldn’t quite believe what had just happened. He was calming somewhat now and he found himself wondering what just occurred between the two of them. An explosive argument that could have spelled the end to their friendship as well as anything that could have evolved into. Then, just like that, it was over; with a hug. Ariel’s lips twitched upwards in a genuine smile and he tightened his grip on her, fighting back the desire to lift her off of her feet. If they could conquer this then everything would be alright – it had to be; surely. Ariel wasn’t quite foolish enough to believe that, even for a second. There was bound to be something else. There was always something else. Until that next blip though, Ariel would try and enjoy any relative normality he could have with Jack.

“Just...don’t worry about anything else. Friends is...friends is better than I could have hoped for – especially taking into consideration...that...” He referred to the words exchanged moments ago. “Thank-you,” He murmured. Ariel rubbed her arms gently and opened his mouth, decisively adding, “Would you like to join Ollie and I for the next full moon?”

Ollie had taken to going out with Ari since Jack had gone. The dog seemed to enjoy Ollie’s company although for the life of him, Ariel couldn’t understand why. There had been a few near disasters but Ollie seemed to be focusing his attention on becoming an Animagus, now. Whatever worked. Ariel was sure it was just to impress Rachel or Rochelle or whatever the bloody hell her name was. There would be a new one next week when she realised how much of a wanker Ollie was. Or maybe Ariel would do something to annoy her. As long as she left, Ariel would be happy. She was more annoying than Cassandra and Irina put together...if those were their names. He knew who he was referring to.

He thanked her but there was no need for thank yous between them. The thing that made sure that they would be allies, no matter what happened around them or how irritated they got with each other, because they both knew how it felt to be considered unworthy of friendship. To be written off as scary and therefore never treated properly. Ari had it worse, in that he was considered a monster, but it was just as bad for Jack, who was treated like a time bomb with little cause.

She still had not released him, as he had not released her. She was glad. There would be times where they would both be fighting their way, alone, and the other could not be there to help. Now, they could lean on each other and pretend like there would be no more torment. Why rush blissful ignorance?

He asked if she wanted to join him. She almost refused, remembering that she had endangered him last time. But if Ollie was there, she would not feel like it was solely her fault. And besides, he was hurting because people considered him dangerous just because he was a werewolf. What better way to refute that than to be with a werewolf at their most 'dangerous.' She might even give Keith a quote for a story. "Of course."
