Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Dead Girl Walking Empty Dead Girl Walking

Post by Mira Anderson Sat Apr 09, 2011 5:16 pm

Mira yawned, bored already. She hated the study room more than almost any other room in this castle. It was so boring. Just a bunch of stupid kids who needed the extra study time. Just because Mira was currently failing herbology didn't mean she deserved to be in the study room pouring over a book about poisonous plants.

Mira's head lolled to the side suddenly as if she was about to go to sleep. And she felt like she was about to sleep. Today Mira was in a horrible mood. Growling over little things and nearly pushing first years over. No, it wasn't 'that time of the month' it was just Mira. On the angry side.

She flipped through the pages of the book faster than any human could read, making it clear that she was just wasting time.

Dead Girl Walking Empty Re: Dead Girl Walking

There was really no need for Ariel to be in the Study Hall. He wasn't failing a class (how could you suggest such a thing?) but for some reason he'd taken up residence in the room, deeming it the best place to spend the day. The library was full and Ariel just wanted a place to be alone. The Slytherins had smuggled some booze up from Hogsmeade and were gambling and drinking in the common room. Ariel wanted no part of that so he'd retreated to the Study Hall. It was nice enough. Certainly it was quiet enough.

Ariel had inadvertently seated himself across and down two from Mira that morning. He'd not elected to sit there by choice but just because it was the only empty place. Had he been able to choose, he would have taken a seat nearest the door. He was quite happy with this one though, which was by a window. Still, he did have the Wicked Witch of the West breathing fire because of some reason or another. Whatever it was, it was probably concerning Krum. Typically, anything making Mira pissy had something to do with Elijah.

"Mira!"

Ariel's voice was tinged with irritation as she began to flip through the book. He looked up from his work and his quill dropped slightly as his hand move forward. He exhaled and glared gently at her - if it was possible to glare gently.

"Can you stop please?"

See, he'd even managed a please. Jack had too much of an influence over him. She was making him nice. Heaven forbid.
