Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Death Eater Meeting Empty Death Eater Meeting

Post by Thaorson Kam Elldir Sun Mar 27, 2011 5:14 pm

Thaor removed his wand from the dark mark on his arm. Now we wait for them to show up. Thaor said smiling at Henry. He crossed the room and took a seat at the end of the long table. You two, sit next to me if you would. Thaor said, looking from Sandra to Henry.

((OOC- Sandra and Henry are both already in here. This is a continuation of the "You might not like it but this is how it's going to be" Thread))

Death Eater Meeting Empty Re: Death Eater Meeting

Post by Raynus Chasterfield Char Sun Mar 27, 2011 5:29 pm

Raynus walked in, ready for another long and boring death eater meeting. He sighed, these meetings weren't really his thing lately. Mostly because he's had nothing to do, maybe occasionally he'd try and terrorize a few students but even that was all too boring for him. Raynus gazed at the room and noticed it was still quite empty. It seemed he was reserving seats for two other death eaters, he remembered Sandra. The girl who disobeyed Thaor and paid the price but he did not remember Henry. Raynus didn't really care about Henry but he did want to see if Sandra would cause any trouble with Thaor. That last problem was quite a show for Raynus. He sat down next to one of the reserved seats.

Death Eater Meeting Empty Re: Death Eater Meeting

Post by Sawyer Weasley Sun Mar 27, 2011 7:37 pm

Marla felt the burn as she woke up from a romp with some Ministry official who had spilled more than his drink at the bar the night before. She got dressed quickly, found the man's wallet and stole his ID and all his money, dropping it all in her purse and fixing her hair. She pulled on her black leather jacket, smirked at the man sleeping like a baby, and disapparated.

She appeared outside Malfoy Manor and carefully made his way up the drive, standing tall, her chin raised ever so slightly. She slipped inside and made her way to where everyone was gathered. Marla paused, her dark eyes going over Sandra and Thaor. Ah, so had they 'made up.' And this other man... he exuded power. She let her eyes linger on him for a moment, before saying, "Hello," in her sultry, low voice.

Death Eater Meeting Empty Re: Death Eater Meeting

Post by Naomi Barker-Greyback Sun Mar 27, 2011 7:44 pm

Naomi was not having the time she thought she would at Ari's place. Nothing could be done except for continuing her obsession with freeing Felix. She was already moving about the house when the Mark burned on her. She ducked out of questions from Ari's mother, dodged Rise, and made her way up to the room. She grabbed a bag full of her necessities and apparated to the Malfoy Manor.

She walked up the drive, trying to look strong, as usual. Without Felix, she felt different. She had a growing bloodlust, a growing desire to hold Felix. She slipped inside and found where everyone was congregated. She paused at the new figure. Who was he? He had sort of a calming, but powerful presence and she felt her heavily-lidded eyes straying towards him as she found an inconspicuous place to hide away.

Death Eater Meeting Empty Re: Death Eater Meeting

Post by Caelani Bittel Mon Mar 28, 2011 1:09 am

She stared at her arm. Sometime between now and when she'd left, it had morphed back into that revolting skull and snake image. She'd assumed that Elldir (she wouldn't even let herself think of him by his first name anymore) would take control of the Death Eaters when she left, so it wasn't so surprising it had changed, she supposed.

Now, the question was what to do about it. She'd gone out of her way to disappear, but hadn't actually turned traitor against the Death Eaters. It was perfectly possible for her to return, though she knew it would be in disgrace if she did.

If only she knew how Elldir would react! If he showed her any lenience at all, then it wouldn't matter that he'd changed the marks back.

All the more reason to arrive on time, then. Caelani recalled the many meetings others had called, including the one she herself had supervised. Nobody other than Voldemort frightened all of the Death Eaters enough to prevent their mild forms of rebellion, which was mostly expressed by them turning up late to meetings. If she was early enough, few people would be there if Elldir did slip up.

Decision made, she pushed out her chair and fell to her knees next to the bottom drawer of her desk. Somewhere in here was a mirror, she knew. There! Grasping it, Caelani held it up in front of her face and began restoring the glamour charms that had for years ensured her naturally mousy hair seemed golden blonde and ensured her hazel eyes looked poison green to all observers.

Then, with a resounding crack, she apparated to the manor.
~~~~
Years of practice had made projecting a semblance of calm second nature to Caelani, but as she approached the Manor, she was not calm at all. Thoughts were whirling through her head about how she could pull this off, about how she could make it obvious to Elldir what he had to do (she assumed he was stupid as a matter of course, he'd already been stupid enough to have feelings for her, after all), about what would happen if he refused to at least punish her even if he didn't stoop to torture in front of a cheering crowd.
And then, she was there, at the entrance to the ballroom(?) and Thaor Elldir wasn't alone. He was flanked by Sandra and a man Caelani had never laid eyes on before. Perhaps that would make it easier. If he'd needed allies to consolidate his power, he couldn't afford to lose face in front of them.
She walked to the centre of the room and simply stood there.
"What? No welcoming party?" she asked.
Death Eater Meeting Empty Re: Death Eater Meeting
Post by Raynus Chasterfield Char Mon Mar 28, 2011 1:43 am
Raynus gazed at Caelini and was quite surprised. She was the former leader of This organization and Raynus' favorite leader, well next to Voldemort. He undoubtly loved Caelini more that Thaor, mostly because she knew what she was doing. Unlike this great baffoon who was leading the current death eaters to dissarray. But Raynus mostly thought this because he never got a say in anything. He sat there slouching in his chair and just staring down to the ground. He shuffled around in the chair awaiting for the business to begin.
Post by HafizDeen Diggory Mon Mar 28, 2011 1:48 pm
Hafiz felt burn on his arm. As he always thought, it must be the mark. He know were to go and apparated. He arrived right infront of the manor and enter. He saw a few had arrived. He just smiled neatly to them and rush smack at the corner end. The 'dark atmosphere' is always present in that manor. In fact, he didn't expect that this meeting would be as excited since Hafiz was in Hogwarts.
Lately, Hafiz haven't shown up often. That is why most of the people in the meeting didn't know his existence. It is his fault really but he can't do anything about it.
Death Eater Meeting Empty Re: Death Eater Meeting
Post by Vincent Majere Mon Mar 28, 2011 2:51 pm
Vincent was sitting in his office at the ministry when suddenly the mark on his arm burned, indicating that the head was calling for another meeting. It was a busy day at the ministry, and Vincent was seriously contemplating on skipping the meeting - they were usually about the same problems, and they never seemed to reach a solution. He was greatly concerned about the death eaters, for his schemes depended on their success, but lately the group had been almost inactive. Still, something told Vincent that this meeting would be important, or else Elldir would not have another meeting so soon after the first one.
Leaving the ministry, Vincent apparated outside the manor and proceeded to the meeting room. Only a few death eaters had arrived, but the important ones were all there. The head, and the two ex-leaders of the death eaters were all present. Three other members he recognized were present too, but the one seated to Elldirs right was new. Vincent recognized that quickly for the man was sitting in the place where he usually sat, a place which indicated importance within the ranks of the death eaters. From this, Vincent concluded that this stranger was the most likely the reason for the meeting. Vincent walked over and took a random seat near the middle of the table.
Death Eater Meeting Empty Re: Death Eater Meeting
Post by Remy Devaul Mon Mar 28, 2011 4:40 pm
For once, Remy was doing legitimate work when the dark mark on her arm burned. She was just finishing her shift at Satin’s – she hadn’t drawn the short straw of having to close tonight – which meant that she couldn’t depart as soon as the mark burned. Instead, she tugged her sleeve down further, closed out the tabs that had been open since the start of her shift, and handed over duty to the other bartender, a gangly man in his mid-30’s who had proven himself useless several times over. Why Vito kept him employed, Remy didn’t know, but she didn’t mind him either. His incompetence only made her that much more valuable to Vito.
The fact that she got a late start and wouldn’t be able to apparate to the mansion would make it difficult to get there on time. Fortunately, Remy had recently come into a rather fortunate bit of property: a motorcycle. She had been sleeping with one of those “rebel without a cause” types, who had more money than he knew what to do with, and no ambition to do anything of real worth. He didn’t have enough power to be interesting only on those terms, but he had a body to die for and skill in the bedroom, so it wasn’t a complete waste of time. The motorcycle was technically on loan from rebel-boy, but whenever Remy decided to move on from him, she had every intention of taking the bike with her.
In the alley behind Satin’s, Remy swung her leg over the motorbike and pushed it off its stand. She kicked the bike to life and pulled back on the throttle, feeling the engine come to life beneath her. Seconds later, she was peeling out of the alley and flying down the road that would take her to Malfoy Manor.
About 20 minutes later, Remy arrived at the gate. She let the engine come to rest before stepping off the motorcycle and pushing it into the bushes on the far right side of the gate, out of sight. Her hair was windswept and her eyes were watering slightly from the chill in the wind, but she wiped them away and slipped through the gate that allowed passage only to those who bore the dark mark.
The mansion was relatively quiet as she entered it, but Remy could hear the sound of voices and shuffling feet further down the hall in the usual meeting room. These meetings were growing tedious, and if they continued to interfere with her own pursuits, she might need to reevaluate her alliances. The Death Eaters weren’t doing much for her lately, and as someone quite adept at recognizing power, she could also recognize the fact that the Death Eaters seemed to be losing it.
Entering the room, Remy raised an eyebrow slightly at the collection of individuals that had arrived before her. There were a few of the usual underlings, the newest leader of the death eaters, along with two former leaders, both blond and looking rather out of place now that they didn’t get to run the show. There was also another man sitting next to Ellidir. He was an older man, his hair speckled with grey, but he emanated the kind of silent power that was always the most threatening. People with real power don’t have to push people around and make big speeches to let people know who is the boss; they simply exude control.
This could be interesting… Remy thought as she took her place at the table, far from where the leaders were sitting.
Death Eater Meeting Empty Re: Death Eater Meeting
Post by Gellert Grindelwald Mon Mar 28, 2011 8:59 pm
Henry watched as each entered. So this was what he would be starting with. Fortunately, he had always been a good judge of character. He could detect who had potential and who would be better off getting rid of before they could drag him down. Thaor was looking rather superior, sitting at the end of the table, but Henry paid him little mind, instead watching each person enter.
Henry knew instantly that his presence had not gone unnoticed, and some of the more perceptive of the bunch realized there was something about him. He suspected they were feeling a little intimidated, if not curious. He knew why too. How many strangers stood with a confident stance, hands folded in front of them, head high, regarding all of the regulars with dark, perceptive eyes. They did not know who he was, but they wanted to. He took this time to sit next to Thaor to watch each person enter.
The first man was obviously disturbed and did not have much of an impressive air about him. He seemed wrapped up in his own little twisted world. The woman that followed seemed to be tasting each with her eyes, trying to decide who was important to her. His eyes met hers and she looked away first, something he had a feeling she was not used to. The next girl was merely a pup, obviously misplaced. Something about her reeked of anger and passion. He regarded her for a moment longer than the other two and then his attention was drawn to the next incomer.
The next woman seemed to be used to power as well. She had a snarky wit and he immediately detected intelligence and usefulness. The next man left little impression on Henry. The next had the similar impression of the snarky woman; power. He seemed to be useful. The final woman was powerful but in a different way. She seemed to know things. He knew there was potential with her as well.
Not terrible, he supposed.
He turned to Thaor and ever so slightly inclined his head, as though to say he had had his fill of judging Elldir's people. Thaor could take the floor.
