Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. The towers. A place that you could always go and most always find a place to be alone. There were many towers in hogwarts. Some were bigger than others. some were for everyone to go to be alone and there were towers only for those who were in the gryffindor and hufflepuff houses. Even though the towers were a good place to be alone, They also held memories good and bad for everyone who had been to hogwarts.

Aurora, For instance, Had more bad memories then she had good. And barely any of those memories had to do with the towers. She remembered when she was a first year and how she met some friends in the towers. She didnt remember many other things that happened in the towers really. Mostly the one of meeting 2 new friends.

Aurora's favorite tower was one near the big clock. She would be able to hear the clock perfectly and always knew when it was time that she needed to leave. She would go there often to hide from people or to just go and draw. She would of course have many better things to do besides drawing but drawing was one of her most favorite things in the world to do. No matter what, She'd rather draw than do most things.

This day, Aurora, With her Green shirt, black jeans, grey jacket, and her faded sneakers, Was sitting in her favorite tower, pencil in one hand, drawing pad in the other. She was drawing the person she remembered the most. The person who she remembered smoking at the leaky cauldron or somewhere around there. A guy she knew by the name as 'Krum' She drew the picture as she drew any others, As though she was a sketch artist for the police trying to identify someone so they knew who to look for.

(eh.. tell me how i dids)

The Clock Tower was, for some, a place of refuge. For Elijah, it was just another piece of castle that separated him from his children. It provided sight into Hogsmeade but nothing more. They were miles away from him when they should have been in his arms. They were at school though, now. Right that minute they were walking the halls of the private school that their grandfather was paying for. The anxiety of that coupled with the lack of nicotine as slowly driving Elijah around the bend. He was angry with Chase for making him feel guilty about smoking. She’d probably play the no-faults-mother track until the vinyl broke in two. She had faults, just like he did. Making him out to be the bad guy that smoked and drank and slept with as many women as he deemed fit wasn’t the way he wanted Kitty to perceive him. It was the way Fauve and Thierry did but they accepted that in their father. To them he may smoke, drink and sleep around but he wasn’t the bad guy. In that instance there was no bad guy. With the angel spreading her weight around though, evidently it would always be him in the judge’s bad books.

Elijah hoped it wouldn’t come to that though.

The weary Slytherin walked under the arch of the entrance to the staircase and peered up at the rafters that held the building together. A small smile grazed his lips and he moved towards the stairs. Elijah placed his hand on the rail before placing his foot on the first step. Then, he began to spring up the stairs towards the next level, his eyes running after the light flickering across the walls. He continued to climb the staircases until he ran out of breath. Elijah slowed down as he reached the top of the last staircase he intended on climbing and he leaned against the rail, inhaling and exhaling until his breathing began to regulate itself. Elijah looked about himself and his eyes fell on a girl hunched up with a sketchpad on her lap.

With his interest piqued, Elijah made his way over to her, the creaking floorboards announcing his entrance if the rapid ascent up there already hadn’t. Elijah looked down at the girl curiously. She was younger than him by a substantial amount. She was innocent, pretty and pure. Elijah cleared his throat and ran a hand through his wind-blown hair. “Do you always sit up here on your own?” He asked her calmly. It was a simple question, one she could either answer or not. He was hoping for the former, not feeling too keen on the latter, and he decided to hedge his bets and sit down. “You like to draw?” He asked her another question gesturing to the pad on her lap. Elijah took his bag strap off and opened his bag up to take his own sketchpad out. It was beaten and a great portion had been used already but he didn’t waste time in finding a blank page. “My name is Elijah,” he introduced himself as he removed a pencil from behind his ear. “I recognise you,” he admitted, “But I cannot put a name to your face.”

(At present I think the only thing wrong with your post is the punctuation. You're just not punctuating it correctly.)

Thinking hard, Trying to remember exactly how he looked, Aurora was sent back to the past in a flashback. She knew how to force herself to have flashbacks of certain events but it was still pretty hard to control. In the flashback she could see his face for a few odd seconds. The cigarette was the main thing she forgot in her own picture. She was going to have to change the facial structures a bit if she was supposed to get a better drawing of him.

Coming out of her flashback, Aurora began to erase part of the picture and began to restart making sure she drew slow enough to get the features and facial structures correct. The hardest part for Aurora was drawing the nose. The nose was always harder to draw since she couldnt draw it like you'd think she would draw a nose.

Aurora had to restart the nose over and over about 10 times before she got it perfect. So far she had the face without any hair, the nose, the eyes and eyebrows, and the mouth. The next part would either be the ears or the hair. It all depended upon if she wanted to wait 5 minutes on hair or on about 2 minutes on ears.

Ears.

After the ears were done all that was left was his hair. She had begun drawing some of it when she heard creaking from the stair well. It was a common noise to hear when it was windy outside. Sometimes she would hear it and wait for maybe 10 or 15 minutes to see if anyone was really coming.

Just as she got about half of the hair on the krum boys face, Aurora heard someone. They werent that far away and from the volume of the voice they were in the exact room. She couldnt reconise the voice so she looked up to notice the krum boy standing right in front of her. Why couldnt it be someone else like cecilia or louis or hugo or anyone besides the krum boy.

As she listened to the boy's talking she said nothing and just listened. "I know who you are krum." Were the only words that came from her mouth. She was soon trying to finish her drawing quicker. Never had she once gone without finishing a drawing of someone. She might've if it was of an animal and she got bored of it but, this sketchpad she had contained only finished artwork so she decided it was better for her to finish the drawing.

The girl was quite skilful although the art really did need to lie in painting for her to make any money. It was one way or the other for many artists. They could paint wonderfully yet couldn't draw to save their lives and vice versa. Elijah was blessed with the ability to do both extremely well and it was something he adored. He loved to watch the pictures appear on the paper before him. He loved the fact that it was his doing even more. But watching that girl made Elijah really appreciate art and it actually made him remember the fact that he wasn't alone in the art world. Arnold often made him think that way but he wasn't. There were so many others around him that were probably better than him in the long run and didn't get as much coverage.

"What do you like to draw?" Elijah asked softly, putting his own pencil to paper.

She was a pretty girl with her dark eyes and soft, Cupid's bow lips. Her hair looked soft to the touch and fell in waves around her shoulders. It could have easily been straightened with a few spells though. Her nose sat comfortably on her slightly chubby face. It was slim and wider at the bottom and melted in with her other features. Her eyebrows were thin and glided across the top of the orbs that held her smouldering eyes and her neck descended underneath her chin, cupped by the shirt that hugged her torso.

During Elijah's assessment of her face, he began to draw her bit by bit almost unconsciously. Elijah bit his lip and looked down. He brought his pencil down one of the lines that shaped her face and looked up, taking her in once more.

"I know who you are Krum,"

Elijah frowned slightly and his eyebrows came together above his eyes. He bit down on the end of his pencil and looked at the girl critically. He didn't quite know how to reply to that but he came up with something witty and appropriate quickly enough.

"You may know me but I do not know you. Care to elaborate?"

One thing Aurora remembered about the Krum kid was that he was a good artist. She had seen his drawing of a girl whom she had never seen before. The girl looked to be quite young, as though a picture of the past. What a great way to express your artistic views. Drawing a person from your past was a way to make your skills better and a way for you to remember who you used to know. Each detail varies everytime you draw as you remember more details that you missed beforehand. After many many tries, everything is perfect. The length of the hair, The way the hair flows, The way it makes the persons face look thinner or slightly plumper. Even the way of the eyes, how delicately they are shaped, How the eyes end up big or small differing between who the person was.

For Aurora, The details took many years to get correct. That is, unless she had the person right in front of her. Then it would take possibly an hour to complete correctly. She had been drawing the Krum kid for maybe 10 minutes now and now she had almost all of it correct. He wasnt the same then as he was when she first met him. His hair was messier, and looked even worse, His eyes looked quite boring, He was growing a bit more facial hair, And he wasnt smoking like he was when she met him. That made everything on her drawing harder, nothing to work off of.

"People, Vampires, Werewolves, Any sort of mythological and real thing you can think of."

Everything about his apperance made Aurora want to throw up where she stood. For one thing, Something was wrong with his face. All of his facial features looked rough and ragged. The facial hair looked scrappy as though they were cut low with scissors, His eyebrows were to big and dark that Aurora was surprised he didnt have a unibrow. His lips looked mis shapened and his hair looked to messy that Aurora couldnt tell if he cleaned it once in the past 6 months. And his nose. How could anyone have a nose as awkward and crooked as he did? If all the rumors Aurora heard about the kid were true, Aurora wouldnt know how people thought he was attractive.

Finishing the hair of the drawing was going to be hard for Aurora now. She couldnt remember if his hair had been neat or if it had been about as messy as his hair was at the moment. With the pencil taking control, Aurora just made his hair sort of neat and sort of sloppy, Kind of like a stuffed animals hair. It stook up but in a nice, neat way.

Lookinh up at the Krum boy, Aurora saw his eyebrows come together. She saw that he was frowning now. Uh oh I did something wrong Aurora thought, smirking slightly at her joke.

"We met back at the Leaky cauldron or something.. you were smoking and I was drawing.. Nearly passed out from the smoke."
