Shopping Around without a Knut... (Savvy & Open)

Sterling was walking around Knutless as he so often did. He loved Diagon Alley, its colorful displays... its light and products that he could never afford. He bounced along happily regardless... imagining how cluttered his dormitory would be if he had everything he saw right now that he wanted.

Sterling turned around to see what looked like a sixth year run into him. There was something definitely veela-ish about her, but he ignored this. He had trained himself to ignore things like that a long time ago.

"Oh that's quite alright," he said politely. "I don't believe we've met," he continued, offering her a hand to shake. "Sterling Silver," he said, smiling as he introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you Sterling, I'm Savannah Galloway sixth year Gryffindor Prefect."said Savannah with a warm smile as she shook his hand. "Sorry about that, I was looking for a new cat for me seeing how my old cat Salem got ran over by my next store neighbor and I wasn't looking where I was going, I'm sorry I truely am!"said Savannah. "Oh god Savannah shutup and stop being a chatter box!"Savannah thought to herself. "So you want to help me find me another cat and then afterwards join me for ice cream?"Savannah asked him with a warm smile. As she seen him frown she smiled. "Don't worry, the ice cream is on me it's my treat!"said Savannah.

Sterling listened to her story intently. "Oh that's alright, I was just wandering around," Sterling said. "And of course I'll help you find a new cat! I have one, it's a squitten kitten named Persephone." Sterling said, smiling. He waved his wand and conjured his cat, Persephone who had just been prowling around the Leaky Cauldron snuggled up to Sterling's chest and purred affectionately. The magical cat was used to being conjured to Sterling and had stopped freaking out when he did so.

Sterling blushed when she offered him ice cream. "Oh, no; I couldn't! I haven't any money!" he said, very embarrassed. His parents had given him all his school supplies and 20 Galleons spending money... he had blown it all on his first day in London, buying a half-rate broomstick, a cat and a set of dark blue robes. He wished he had a few Sickles left to buy this stranger girl ice cream now.

Sterling walked toward Eeylop's Owl Emporium, and walked passed Savannah. But he grabbed the door, taking it from her. "Ladies first," he said politely, smiling at her. "And your cat better get along with mine. Because my cat's awesome, and if it doesn't get along with mine, then that cat's obviously a jerk." he said, laughing.

"Oh wow, a gentlemen how lovely and thankyou!"said Savannah as she gave him a warm smile and then walked in. "Don't worry, I'm sure my cat will get along just fine with him I wouldn't get a cat that didn't silly!"said Savannah laughing. As Savannah starting looking around at all the cats there were so many cute ones she couldn't make up her mind. "Thank goodness I have you Sterling, I can't make up my mind there's to many cute ones!"said Savannah laughing.

Sterling laughed. "Oh I love animals," he said. "I'm personally partial to tabbies and squittens myself." he said, offering his opinion. Of course, hers mattered more than his seeing as it was her cat. He dropped his cat and it romped around, playing with the others. "I think Persephone likes that one," Sterling said giggling and pointing as his cat started licking another cat affectionately.
