Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. For Mathias, the opportunity to learn more about the castle was one that he was willing to take up. He wanted to know more about the architecture. He wanted to know how it managed to look like it did now, in the second century. He was certain that it had gone through stages. Otherwise Wizarding architecture was way ahead of the Muggle architecture. It was really interesting for Mathias and as he made his way up to the library, he could feel the excitement bubbling within him.

As he entered, he felt his mouth drop open. It was colossal and the shelves were bursting with books. Mathias walked over to the desk where the librarian was and cleared his throat. The elderly woman looked up at him and he smiled kindly. “Ezcuse me...I wanted to know whet’er you had any books on zee castle?” The woman scowled, obviously not impressed by his accent. She pointed to the shelves near the back and Mathias thanked her quietly before scuttling away, desperate to get out of her eyesight.

He turned the corner and smoothly stepped into the shadows that were being created by the bookcase. There were so many books to choose from – he didn’t know which one to pick. He took a leather bound book off of one of the shelves and hummed a song under his breath. He opened the book up and scanned it, waiting for a reference to come up regarding the design.

Ahh Reading. One of those enjoyable things to do when there is nothing else to do. For Aurora, The library was a place that Aurora enjoyed alot. She loved to read whatever she could get her hands on something that she hadnt read before.

When she got into the library she heard one of the forein kids ask if there were any books on the castle. She walked upto him. "The books of the castle are that way." she said to herself. She was looking for the books that were around that area. They would be on the history behind the school and why it was built. She wanted to learn more about the history incase someone asked her about it.

Aurora wore her robes with a red head band. She had on her wrist about 50 rubberbands. She always had rubberbands incase she needed them at that time. There were times she had them for no reason at all.

Sally walked into the library and sighed. She hadnt planned on spending her day here but she was bored and reading was all she could think of. She decided to look up a book about the castle as she knew nothing about it being her first year even though she was a seventh year student. She noticed that two students were already back there so she just quietly moved her way around them and looked for a book bout hogwarts. Neither of them was talking to each other and it was very slient. "Great, its even more boring here." She thought. She sighed searching for a book that she'd probably wouldn't find because she didnt know what she was looking for. She grabbed one opened it up and it screamed at her she dropped it on the floor and covered her ears jumping backwards she hit another shelf and a bunch of books fell off ontop of her, the book she dropped was still screaming. She kicked it shut with her foot and dropped to the floor holding her ears. They were sensitive and were ringing like crazy, her red eyes were burning like fire and closed them. Embarassed she sat there not wanting to say anything, She grabbed the book and put it back on the shelf, afraid of getting another screaming book she sat in a chair that was next to her, and she tried to settle down. Her heart was racing like crazy. The otther books she dropped she began to picked up. Where they hit her was hurting and she grabbed her shoulder, a big bruise was forming she could feel it.

Intellect, his in particular, was something Mathias admired. He had a desire to learn, one that couldn’t be stifled by anything. The opportunity to go to Hogwarts had been one Mathias had snapped up immediately even thought he didn’t necessarily want to take part in the Tournament. He wished his school and the others the best of luck but really he was there to learn about the legendary castle that rivalled Beauxbatons. Hogwarts wasn’t nearly as pretty but it was like a wise old wizard, ready to give advice to the willing student. Beauxbatons was more like a spry young Veela ready to charm the world. Needless to say, Mathias knew which one he preferred.

As Mathias scanned the pages in the book he began to doubt the source he was reading. There was nothing about the castle and he didn’t think that the other books would hold much either. The authors seemed to be content to rave on about the founders of Hogwarts. Did they ever stop and wonder whether Hogwarts had always been a castle? A round house probably would have been more appropriate. Mathias was sceptical though. He wanted information. He didn’t care about Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Slytherin and Hufflepuff. He wanted to know about the castle. He was sure it had been progressive; he was positive. But to be sure he would have to explore some of the older parts of the castle; starting with the dungeons.

Mathias pressed his hands together, the book closing between them, and tapped his foot against the floor. He bit his lip a little and placed the book back on the shelf. He reached for another book, slightly higher up on the shelf and he pulled it out. A scream rattled Mathias and the book slipped from his grasp. It tumbled off of the shelf and clipped his cheek. A gasp left Mathias’ mouth and he looked out from behind to see what the source of the screaming was. He found that it was a book and a particularly grim looking one at that.

When the screaming stopped, Mathias left his hiding spot and walked over to the girl that had fallen. Mathias reached down and picked up one of the books. “Are you alright?” He asked the girl. “Here, allow me.” He continued, taking the books from her arms. “Did zey go over here?” He pointed to the shelf.

Sally was near tears, she was so embarassed. "yes." she chocked out bearly. One of the bigger books had landed on her shoulder and hurt it bad she grabbed it. Throbbing pain went through her body as she tried to stand once more. She collapsed on the floor, he face red from embarassement and her eyes burning the same color. She looked up at the boy who was putting the books back for her. "Thank you." She said attempting to stand again not sure if she could.
