Getting to know you

Coffeeeeeeee. Was there a substance more miraculous? No. And it had been invented by muggles. It was a wonder Caelani wasn't working in some Spanish wizarding school where doubless there'd be an espresso machine in every room.

The Hogwarts espresso machine was a freak of nature. By observation and guesswork, Caelani had come to the conclusion that the twisted tubes worked through a combination of steam power and random magical build up. She wasn't going to risk her precious source of caffeine by investigating it too thoroughly, though.

She sat down with her cup and felt the liquid energy course through her. The first cup of the day relaxed her like nothing else could.

Gabrielle just returned from Hogsmeade after she bought a few butterbeers there as she was bored today. Before she was used to having to do paperwork for the ministry after classes, but now that she resigned her afternoons seemed like never-ending story. As she made her way into the staff lounge she took off her rain coat and put it on the hanger to dry.

But there was someone else in the room. Someone that she had never seen before. Probably a new collegue who else. "Hello i don't believe we've met before. My name is Gabrielle Delacour what's yours?" she said as she sat down on the armchair across the table and put her bottle of butterbeer down. It was nice to find a talking partner for the change instead of wonder around castle.
