What Would The Gryffindor's Say? Empty What Would The Gryffindor's Say?

Walking up to the school hadn’t been his idea, had his idea come to fruition then he never would have missed the coaches in the first place. He would have gotten off of the train like everyone else then would have possibly gone to find Amelia. But he was in the company of a redhead and Elijah was never one to pass up that opportunity. This particular one was heartbroken by the loss of her latest beau. Thankfully walking wasn’t that bad. It wasn’t cold and Elijah hadn’t forgotten his satchel which meant everything that mattered to him was inside and slung over his shoulders. The Firewhisky they were still sharing though.

They were getting closer to the school now, they weren’t too far off. They’d just passed the hut that used to belong to the half giant and were working their way up to the bridge that connected the grounds one of the first courtyards. The owls were already hooting in the owlery and the forbidden forest was alive with all sorts of little squirming creatures. Elijah stopped on the track and watched the forest for a moment, seeking out whatever was hiding from them. When he found nothing he shook his head, took a swig of the Firewhisky and moved on. “So you have clothes preferences, hmm?” Elijah smirked, referring to Chase’s desire to have clothes on when he painted her. He’d think about it. But not for very long. “I don’t see the point, myself but there you go.”

He chuckled and held the bottle out for her to take. “A Slytherin and a Hufflepuff together; drinking in the grounds. My, my...what would the Gryffindor’s say?” He mused.

Chase walked along in silence for a long moment. Her head fuzzy from the alcohol she had drank on the train. What would Andrew think, if he saw her right then? Buzzed, and walking alone with a Slytherin, who by the way, was totally and completely hot?! He might beat him up first of all, but she had a feeling that Elijah could take him down easy. She stared across the moonlit grounds and took a deep breath, reaching for the bottle when it was offered to her.

They had missed the coaches, and she had an odd feeling he had done it on purpose. She wasn't quite sure how they had gotten left behind, but before she had known it, the train was pulling out of the station, her stuff was on the platform, and the coaches were gone. Leaving her and Elijah to walk up to the school together, not a single teacher in site, and the sorting already starting before they had even reached the gates. Clothes preference? She looked up at him a bit confused and then blushed. "Well, something that covers the main sections of my body without being pulled away easily.." She said the blush creeping into her cheeks.

"Like a sheet.." She said shaking her head. "Real clothes.." She took a deep breath, took another drink of the alcohol, and passed it back to him. She needed to forget Andrew, he had left her, gone, out of her life. He was done, a past figment in her head. Someone she loved, and still loved, and would always love, but he didn't want to be with her.. maybe in the future. But not now, and no time soon. She took a deep breath, wiped away a tear and then looked up at him. "Gryffindors?" She glanced at the school. "Probably just stand there, mouths open, wondering why the Slytherin is being nice to the Hufflepuff, and why the Hufflepuff is drinking, when obviously whatever he is handing her is poison." She said looking at the bottle again.

When you were wandering around Hogwarts grounds drunk, nothing good could come of it. When you were walking around the Durmstrang grounds drunk you were likely to find yourself butt naked on the grass with someone you didn’t know the next morning. This was why Elijah was infinitely glad that he now went to Hogwarts and not Durmstrang. He’d been too young to do the butt-naked-in-the-morning thing. Thirteen year old Durmstrang students didn’t get a lot coming their way. Fourteen year olds did but it was when you were fifteen that you struck the mother lode. Elijah didn’t know much about it. He’d been at Hogwarts last year and missed his fourth year out all together as he made his name in Paris. That was a year he’d never regret.

“Alright...” Elijah said thoughtfully. “A sheet will do. Sheets are classics but I’m thinking something different. Beds are boring...I’m thinking a window. That would make an interesting photograph,” Elijah gazed off into nothingness as he tried to picture it. All of his photographs he took in black and white, believing everything to be better in black and white. He could imagine a window, stripped off any linins with the added panes separating the glass. Chase stood beside it with a far off look in her eye with only a sheet wrapped around her and her back left exposed with the exception of her hair falling against the skin. It was perfect. Well, at least in his mind it was. “I’ve got it in my mind.” He said after a moment. “I think you’ll like it.”

He looked at Chase and smiled, taking the bottle from her. He took a swig and swirled the liquid around in the bottle idly before handing it back. “I wouldn’t poison you, love.” He chuckled. “Not only would it be a waste of Firewhisky but it would also waste a perfectly good model such as yourself.”

Chase smiled slightly and watched his face as he tried to imagine the picture, and she tried to imagine it herself. "A window?" She asked slowly. Imagining a window seat, laying across it with the sheet wrapped around her tightly, showing off her every curve. She blushed hard and looked at him, a small smile on her face. "Never said I thought you were going to poison me, just imagining what And.... what a Gryffindor would think of it.." She said and her eyes went downcast.

She reached out and took the bottle, gulping down the burning liquid as she tried to sear feeling back into her body. It was no use, every time she blinked Andrew's face popped up in her vision. Every time her eyes closed she saw him, angry, yelling at her. She ran her hand through her hair and held the bottle loosely in her hand. She looked up at him and realized the alcohol was affecting her just like it had with Vito the only other time she had had alcohol. It was making him look like Andrew, and her lips itched to kiss him.

"NO!"

Her body was screaming at her, telling her to run away, hide and try to forget about everyone, try to forget her past, or how Elijah would react to seeing the scars that covered her body like grotesque memories of the past. One on her back, that went from her shoulder blade to her hip, and one on her stomach, that connected her hip, and went to about her mid back. Grotesque, and no way to heal them, since they were curse scars. Made one her by the same person, every picture she had taken that ever showed her body, had had those edited out. Simply because they were horrid, and marred her body like some odd mutation.

Chase closed her eyes hard, and felt a few tears leak out, why had he left her? Left her alone to find company with a Sixth Year Slytherin! It wasn't fair, she hadn't done anything to him, she hadn't done anything to Jack. But it was all he fault anyway, everyone always left her, forced to find someone new to cling to. Maybe she could find Danny again one day, try to make it up to him, tell him she was sorry. She winced and looked up at Elijah. "Sorry." She whispered and took another swig of the alcohol. "I keep remembering my past.." She said lightly and shook her head. "Alcohol doesn't help much in that aspect.." She said handing him the bottle. "Got a cigarette though?" She asked softly, her cheeks flushed from the firewhiskey.

If he had had his camera with him then Elijah probably would have tried to get some sneaky pictures of Chase now. He was forever taking pictures of people he drew or painted. Fauve was a constant but he’d already decided against painting her. He would when she was older but not now. If he truly wanted to then he could have but her first painting would be special, he’d decided. It would be nothing flashy because it would be hers. But photographs were always important. He might have sketched and painted but he took photographs first just so when they were gone and he wanted to change something he could and have visual aids there. He could always remember a model but it was good for some of the finer details.

“A window,” Elijah clarified. “Perhaps a few different styles of windows as well to mix it up a bit. The Room of Requirement will be really useful for that, actually.” He looked at Chase in interest and Elijah decided that she wasn’t telling him everything. They barely knew each other so why would she but sometimes if you only knew someone’s name – that was enough to let everything spill out. For some strange reason Elijah wanted to be there for Chase if she’d let him. Perhaps she was one of the rarities that he didn’t pursue. He doubted it though. She was a friend but he didn’t think she was off limits like the rest excluding Ingrid.

“Chase stop,” Elijah said softly, for once being fairly logical. He put his hands on her shoulders and steadied her. “You’re over-thinking.” He put one hand on the side of her neck and gently ran his thumb across her jaw. “Don’t apologize to me, alright? I don’t judge.” He smiled a little and brushed some of her hair back. “Everything’s going to be alright you know. I’ll make sure of it, I promise.” Perhaps that was just the alcohol talking or maybe he really did care what happened to her. Perhaps it was a bit of both.

Elijah put his fingers under her chin and moved her head up so she’d look at him. He studied her for a few moments before letting his other hand drift down to her waist. He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her to him. Now he wasn’t entirely sure whether this was the alcohol or himself but either way he was not complaining. Then he made good on his promise, whether that was to himself or to the artist’s ‘code’. The models you had before, during and after the painting until you sent them away. Elijah dropped his head and slid his lips against hers. Chase was Chase...she was his friend, his model. So perhaps not entirely off limits.

What would the Gryffindor’s say, indeed!?

What Would The Gryffindor's Say? Empty Re: What Would The Gryffindor's Say?

Post by Andrew Thompson Mon Sep 06, 2010 4:13 am

Andrew was having the worst day in all his life. He had recently just been attacked by Ne'Os Emof, his archenemy, and was now bleeding on his back and slightly on his leg. A large shard of glass had managed to piece through his though, leaving a large hole in his robe and a dark red clot on the skin of his thigh. He had tried to heal it but wasn't very good yet. The scratches on his back had been when Neos had possessed and owl and managed to hit with razor talons. It still stung as well.

At any rate, he drudged on towrds hogwarts, hoping that he would be able to talk to Chase about the predicament. He realized what a foolish mistake he had made and really wanted her back. He knew he wouldn't be able to last five minutes without her. But as he got closer to hogwarts, he saw the scene. Eli and Chase KISSING.

The sight made 2 things happen to andrew. Rage hit him throughout his entire body, knowing full well what he was seeing. Chase had betrayed him, and found another person. Yet another emotion had fallen upon Andrew as well. Pain. He knew as well that he had told chase in his anger that he wouldn't be faithful. He didn't mean it though. Yet now therer she was...and it pierced andrew through his heart. He wasn't going to try and hurt chase...

But that wouldn't stop him from hurting eli.

Andrew moved forward, setting off in a run. His leg burned painfully, yet he couldn't stop. He wouldn't stop. When he got close to Eli and Chase, he used his arm and pulled Chase away from Eli. And with his other free arm, threw a straight fist at Eli's face, with all his might. All thought left his mind and only one thing replaced it.

Kill Eli.

(Terribly sorry if this post wasn't good, but I am posting from my phone right now xD. I am really tring my best!)

Chase was caught unaware when he put his hands on her shoulders. She looked up at him feeling, his hand on her chin, and she was pulled closer to him. Her brain was flashing danger, but her body wouldn't move. And her whole body fell limp when his lips found hers. Her eyes closed and she found her arms going around his neck. She deepened the kiss, and felt a small tear slide down her cheek. His kiss was so different then Andrew's. She pushed herself closer to him, pretending it was Andrew, pretending they weren't fighting, and knowing they were, knowing he said he wouldn't be faithful, and she was now not faithful to him.

Suddenly a hand was on her shoulder and she was thrown backwards. She hit the ground hard, and yelped as she skidded on the ground. She put her hand on her mouth and looked up quickly, half unbelieving at what she saw. Andrew? She yelled out and jumped to her feet. "Leave him alone Andrew!" She screamed and ran forward to grab a hold of Andrew's arm. "Stop it! Please!" She cried out, tears pouring down her cheeks now. Elijah hadn't done anything wrong, nothing at all, she was the one who had obviously made him feel like she was flirting with him, and she had kissed him back.

But now Andrew was here, and her mind was spinning. Why was he out on the grounds during the feast? Why was his limping so badly? And why was he trying to punch Elijah, when obviously he didn't care for Chase anymore. He should have just walked away, realized what a complete slut Chase was, and left her alone. But instead... instead he was here, attempting to punch Elijah. He had said he wouldn't be faithful, he had said it, and she had tried to say that she would be faithful to him, but obviously he hadn't heard, and obviously she had lied. Even though Elijah had kissed HER, not the other way around. It didn't help that she smelt of alcohol and cigarette smoke, again. Only this time, she had been caught kissing someone else.

What Would The Gryffindor's Say? Empty Re: What Would The Gryffindor's Say?

Perhaps this particular friend wasn’t as off limits as Elijah had originally thought. Alright, perhaps not. He’d done the raging best friend thing before and gotten attacked by various women but it’s when you had the jealous ex-boyfriend on your arse that you really had to worry. Then again, perhaps Elijah had done them both a service. The idiot who dumped her obviously still had feelings for her otherwise he wouldn’t have been so angry. But angry or not Elijah really wished he hadn’t punched him.

It had been sudden. If it hadn’t have been then Elijah probably would have ducked had he been able to string two thoughts together but the ass got their first. The sound of bones crunching startled Eli and he stumbled back. Andrew had successfully broken his nose. If it had been anyone else Elijah probably would have applauded the Gryffindor but now he was just bemused and irritated. Elijah felt along the bridge of his nose and promptly snapped his nose back into place. He blinked a few times and smiled a little before opening his arms wide, almost inviting Andrew to punch him again.

“Someone’s jealous!” Elijah taunted in a sing-song voice, knowing it would get a rise out of the hot-headed Gryffindor. “She’s not mine to have mate but then again, you did dump her. If you want her so badly then maybe you shouldn’t have left her. Now she’s back on the market anyone and everyone could have her. You’ve got no right to be jealous. Unless of course you still love her?” Elijah lowered his arms and smirked despite the pain in his face. “Which you seem too...”

It was sweet in a way but Elijah wasn’t impressed. “There’s no need to beat the shoulder she’s crying on, mate.” He tapped the bridge of his nose as if to prove a point and smirked again. “Perhaps if you hadn’t of left her then we wouldn’t be in this position. So really it’s your fault.” Then, Elijah’s possessive streak came through. “She’s not your responsibility anymore. You gave up that right when you ditched her. Did it ever occur to you that maybe she’d be safer and happier with you than she is without you? Or is the brain of a Gryffindor smaller than I’d originally thought?”

Andrew felt like he couldve punched Eli again...then maybe kick him a little bit. Andrew wasn't heartless. He knew that he would go apologize to Eli soon afterwords, yet he was still mad about how they had kissed. And how he sounded so smug about it.

"Of course I still love her!" He said, not even realizing that Chase had been right there, gripping on his arm to keep him from destroying Eli "I only broke up with her because of this!" He then gestured over to his leg and then some bloodied scratches on his robes. "I was trying to protect her...from the person that did this to me! But now I realize what an idiot I have been by doing so...and if you kiss her again, I swear to Merlin I won't hesitate to kill you."

Now Andrew began to see reality once more. His anger started to die down and he heard the silence around them. He stood there, his entire body still shivering from the adrenaline. He needed to control his anger. He looked back at his knuckles to see a little bit of blood, which he quickly wiped on his robes. He then tried to move into hogwarts, to escape the madness, but that's when he felt Chases arm on him.

"Chassy..." He said softly turning around to look at her "I really am sorry about all of this...Ne'Os did come back though, yet I can't get through this without you. Will you go out with me again, my love?"

What Would The Gryffindor's Say? Empty Re: What Would The Gryffindor's Say?

Chase watched the two talk for a moment, her hand still on Andrew's arm to prevent him from hitting Elijah again. But suddenly he had turned on her, wanted to go out again. She took a step backwards, and she stared at him, eyes wide with shock and almost a certain amount of fear. She saw his leg, saw his bloodied hand, she stared at him, her mind flashing back to what she had decided on the train, the tears that had poured from her eyes, that were still pouring from her eyes.

She didn't know what to believe. One minute she was half making out with Elijah, the next.. Andrew wanted her back. He had hit Elijah, and she could see some blood trickling out of his nose. She raised her wand and pointed it at him. "Episkey." Knowing it was already broken back into place, it simply healed up the skin and stopped the bleeding. She was buying time though, she didn't know what to say. Obviously Ne'Os was back, and obviously he had been right in that point. But she didn't know what to say. Her mouth was open but no words were coming out.

Chase closed her mouth slowly and swallowed hard, but then she really took a look at Andrew. He had caused her so much pain, and it had taken a long time for her to pull herself together again. At least the entire attack on the train, then she had seen dead bodies, mutilated figures, and she could have helped prevent those deaths had she been in her right mind. People died because of what he had done to her. An irrational anger stole over her body. She clenched her fists and closed her eyes, breathing deeply through her nostrils. "Andrew.. you dumped me... barely five hours ago.. you dumped me.." She felt tears streak down her face and she breathed more deeply.

"Do you know how hard I cried? Do you know what Jack thinks of me now? Do you have any idea what has happened since you decided to 'Protect me' by breaking my heart?" She put her hand over her heart, her fingers still curled into a fist. Chase shook her head and pushed away from him, moving to the front doors of the castle. "I don't know what to believe anymore! How can I trust you again? What if you decide to break up again cause I need 'protecting'? Do you know what I need protecting from then? Myself!" She stomped her foot down and then her eyes found Elijah. "I'm sorry Elijah.. sorry that we kissed, sorry I had to drag you into this, but.. I'm afraid.. I just need some time alone right now!" She said and spun on her heel, dashing into the Entrance Hall with her hands over her face.
