My eyes do not decieve me

It was a cold, snowy day in Hogmeade. Harry decided it would be nice to have a cup of coffee at Madamn Puddifoot. He wasn't a fan of all the lovey dovey that happens there but they sure made hell of a good coffee. So, making his way to the shop he opened the door and started walking in, finding a table to sit and luckily he found one just near the window. He smiled to himself, he liked sitting next to the window it always gave you something to look at while you enjoy your drink or food. Harry began to sit down at the table and waited for the waitress to come, tapping the table with both fingers as he waited patiently for the waiters/waitress to take his order.

He wore a plain, white jacket and blue jeans.
Nothing fancy.

Nikki decided it would be a good day to have some coffee at Madam Puddifoot's. Although Nikki is always cold, you'd think she'd have coffee everyday, but she doesn't. She made her way to Madam Puddifoot's and opened the door and made her way inside. She sighed and bit her lip as she looked around and saw a table spot by the window was taken, it was her favourite place to sit. She was wearing skinny jeans with a light purple t-shirt and black converse shoes and her hair today was curly. She hadn't bothered with make up. She walked over to the window table and asked the guy who was sitting there "Um, I was wondering if I could sit here, if that's alright with you..?"

Harry who was looking out the window, heard a voice behind him causing him to look around and see who it was. "Sure, no problem. I love to have company," he grinned gestering towards the spare seat in front of him. "I was feeling quite lonely back then," he chuckled as he looked up at the girl. He admired her skinny jeans and purple shirt it went well with her curly hair, he especially like the idea of her lack of makeup, she was beautiful either way. He felt this was going to be a interesting converstation. Harry smiled at the girl as he waited patiently for her to take a seat.

Nikki gulped when the guy turned around. Wow, she thought. What a cutie! Nikki was afraid to sit down, but he seemed very nice and friendly. Nikki smiled at the guy and sat down. Well then, I'm glad I'm your cure of loneliness. Nikki told the guy with a small grin. I'm Nikki Granger, by the way. Nikki introduced herself to the guy. A fourth year Gryffindor, but I'm 15 years old. Nikki quickly added. Nikki blushed and bit her lip and looked away until she felt that she was not red anymore and looked at him again.

Harry smiled and laughed when she told him that she was glad that she was his cure of loniliness. "Your glad then i'm glad," he told her, grinning back at her. "Hello, Nikki. Thats such a pretty name, nice to meet you." Harry smiled at her, he loved the sound of her voice ringing in his ears. It sounded lovely and perfect in his ears. He chuckled when he saw her blush when she mention being a fifteen year old girl in fourth year. "That quite alright, most people are a little older then most people in their year," he told her. "Your not the only one," he brought a sheepish grin on his face.

Thank you, many people say that about my name. Nikki told him as a matter of factly. Nikki frowned and shook her head. This guy was quite mysterious, she knew nothing about him, even after telling him her house, year, age and name. Usually people would respond the same way, but this guy was different and Nikki liked it. Nikki nodded in agreement when the guy said it was alright, most people are a little older than most people in their year, and that she wasn't the only one. So, what's your name? Nikki asked curiously.

Harry rose an eyebrow at her, he smiled and chuckled. "Turn that frown upside down," he told her. "Nikki is a wonderful name, if I was a girl I'd be jealous," he joked trying to cheer her up though he knew it was corny. He hated when people were upset, he always tried his best to cheer them up. "Oh sorry." Harry said, he chuckled feeling slightly embrassed for not introducing his name to her yet when she wanted to know his name. "I'm Harry Thornburg," he introduced himself.

Nikki could only giggle when he said to turn her frown upside down. She then smiled when he said if he was a girl he'd be jealous of her name. No need to apologize...I like mystery...Anyways, it's nice to meet you, Harry. Nikki smiled at him. That's nice of you to say that, you're very kind and sweet, and I've only just met you! Nikki admitted. So, you must be a Gryffindor or a Hufflepuff, are you? Nikki asked Harry.

Harry couldn't help but enjoy the sound of her giggling as he told her to turn her frown upside down. "Yay!" Harry exclaimated. "I made you smile," he said in a cheery tone. He felt better now he had cheered her up. Harry rose and eyebrows at her and smirked when she told him that she like mystery and not to apologize for that. He replied only with a smile and a small chuckled at her. "I try to be," a soft chuckle escape his lips as he tried to be modest and humble of who he was. "None." he told her. "I'm a Slytherin apparently." Harry replied, wondering if this would scare her away the fact he was a Slytherin. To be honest, he was no where the same as the rest of the house; he would never hurt anybody it wasn't worth it.

"I hope that doesn't scare you."

Yes, well thanks for making me smile..I needed it... Nikki admitted to Harry. That was the truth, because of everything thats happening between herself and Sophia. Nikki was suprised to hear that he was a Slytherin. Oh, wow, really? No, no, it's fine, honest. It's just, and I guess it's kind of judgemental and shallow, I've always thought Slytherins were evil and mean, perhaps you have a dark side? Nikki asked curiously. Nikki had accepted the fact Harry was a Slytherin because she had a scary secret herself, she was a vampire.
