Rob had managed to slip away from the main wedding and from his sister who was probably trying to hunt down his father-in-law-to-be. It worried Rob ever so slightly just in case she hurt him but he had faith in his sister or at least just enough to get him by. He was tired already and could have done with a snooze but he knew it wasn’t the time for it. Robert had removed the hangover but Rob still felt tired. It was a vicious circle but he was tense as well and didn’t really know what to do with himself.

He walked upstairs, hearing the creak of farmhouse floorboards as he went. Rob ended up on the landing that had several wooden doors across the walls. Each one had a separate room behind it and a separate story. He idly wondered which one was Khaat’s and picked the one in front of him. He put his hand on the brass doorknob and turned, opening up the door. He pushed it and stepped inside and shut the door behind him. Rob turned around and saw what seemed to be Khaat’s room. She didn’t have any brothers or sisters so it had to be it. But it didn’t look like something Khaat would have. He could feel her presence in the room but it was mixed with another. Rob was in the sitting room and it reminded him of his old Professor’s room at Hogwarts. It had an air of knowledge about it and the expansive bookshelf that covered one of the walls was proof enough. The place was like the Hogsmeade house in some respects yet so different at the same time.

Rob walked over to the bookcase and ran his finger along the spines of the well worn books. He picked one out and opened it up. His eyes scanned the page, taking in the information there. He closed the book and put it back on the shelf. He looked at the different genre of book and was instantly intrigued. Khaat did have a taste in literature, he had to admit.

“Do I know you?” A voice came from over by the fireplace and Rob turned around.”
“My name is Robert Dent.” He said hesitantly. “I’m Khaat’s fiancé.”
“There’s a wedding today is there not?” Remus asked. “Your wedding?”
“Joint wedding.” Rob corrected. “With the Black Harts.”
“Nervous?” Remus asked.
“Nervous enough.”

Khaat thought over her dress and all her accessories, She had forgotten one thing. She wanted to put a coin that had been left from Remus's pocket into her shoe, just for good luck. She went back to her room and fouond Rob there. She was mezmerized by how handsome he looked. "Rob," she said very softly, shutting the door, "You know, as much as I know you're not supposed to see the bride before the wedding, you don't know how much I needed to see you." She went over and kissed him deeply and passionately.

Rob looked over at the door and was astonished to see Khaat walk through the door. He was floored, she looked beautiful. Well, more than beautiful at least. She looked amazing! Rob wrapped his arms around her and returned the kiss with equal fervour. He gripped some of the material of her dress and pulled her closer to him. She was an expensive brand of wine that he could certainly afford and he had every intention of getting his monies worth. He had 1000 cheese pick-up lines tucked away but he could only think of one that really made sense to him. He broke the kiss and smiled at Khaat. "You know, as much as I do like this dress it would definitely look better on the floor don't you think?" he grinned at her and tugged at the dress once more, pulling the clasps at the back.

She laughed and waved her hand to magically seal the door. "Hide your eyes, Uncle Remus," she laughed. She let the gown fall to the floor. She had missed Rob so much while he had been gone, and now all she could think about was him. He filled every portion of her mind, his scent filled her senses, and all she wanted was him to be with her for every breath she took for the rest of her life. She peeled off his jacket from him and laid it beside her gown. "Maybe this is what they meant by not seeing the bride with her wedding gown on. I think it's certainly open to interpretation, don't you?" she kissed him deeply and passionately again.

Rob smirked and flicked his wand at the door he presumed was the bedroom. He picked cat up and wrapped her legs around his waist. Rob had his girl back and although he had been back for at least a day he and Khaat hadn't gotten around to properly saying hello to each other again. He'd missed her as much as Diagon Alley's strawberry ice-cream (well more than that actually). Rob trailed kisses along her collar bone and worked the clasp of her bra. He was embarrassed to say he was out of practice but he got the offending material off - making quick work of the clasp. He heard a gasp and chuckled. He took Khaat into the bedroom and slammed the door behind him. Remus could huff and puff all he wanted but Rob didn't care. He laid Khaat down on the bed and crawled on top of her. He kissed her once more but kept it short. He was teasing her more than he should have been but she had yet to punish him for his misdeeds. "Quite right, love. Who ever made the rule up was a smart bloke. We might just miss the wedding."

"We'll just make Jess stay around and marry us here so we don't have to get up," she laughed. "That way Jessica and Jack can have their special day all for themselves. But in the meantime, I'm all yours. So stop teasing me. we don't have to quit practicing this after the ceremony, do we? I think Mom and Dad are going to take the kids for us. That means--I'm still all yours." She kissed his lips and began to work her way down his neck to his chest.

Rob smirked and shed the rest of his clothing. He remembered now why he just liked wearing pyjama bottoms instead of the whole kit and caboodle. It was frustrating to get off. He returned to Khaat's side and kissed her long and hard, his hands wandering to places which would cause dear old Remus to have a heart attack if he saw. Rob broke the kiss and trailed kissed down her neck and across her torso. He blew warm air across her stomach and smiled slightly. She wasn't showing but he could see differences. He knew no one else really could but he knew what he was looking for. Rob planted a kiss just above her navel and ran his hands up her thighs. She was pretty cold but it wasn't exactly warm downstairs. He moved back up to her mouth and kissed her chastely. "I don't believe you ever stopped being mine or did I miss something?" he asked teasingly. "Will I have to prove to you that you are mine and mine alone? I am selfish, Khaat, I don't like to share."

"Well, you were gone so long. You might have to remind me just how selfish you are. Lets be sure. Am I yours and nobody else's? I think we need to find out."

She fell into just slowly loving him and in being loved. He could fill her with such peace just by being in the same room, but being with her, skin to skin was something different altogether. She loved his every caress, his every touch, every whispered word. And it made her his. Completely. Forever.

When she was curled next to him again, just letting him hold her close she said, "I don't know when I've wanted anything more than I want to be married to you. I know we can make it work. As long as I have you, everything else will come. We'll force the kids to enroll back in school and we'll move to Tuscany or something. Whatever you want. We can hide away, just the two of us."

He didn't think it was possible to be high on pleasure but he was a lot more pleased with himself than normal. One thing Rob didn't see himself doing was getting married or having kids but another thing was that he didn't see himself having pre-marital sex probably only thirty minutes before they were due down there. It intrigued him and he knew that if his mother was there she would have strung him up by his toes by now.

Rob had his arms around Khaat and he was absent mindedly stroking the creamy skin on her stomach. His little girl was there and although he still believed that both of his girls were fragile and needed protecting he knew they were strong willed and stubborn to boot. He would definitely get some grief from his girl during her teen years. It couldn't be helped though and he would enjoy every minute of it.

"You know we could be married but we're up here enjoying each other's company. What's a piece of bloody paper anyway?" Rob chuckled. "It's nice but really means nothing. You're still mine even if someone issues a restraining order on me."

He believed his words as well. He did want Khaat to share his name but what else was there to marriage? A little scrap of paper with their names on and that was about it. It was important to Khaat and he would go along with her forever. He didn't care whether she got herself in suicidal situations because he was going to be there to save her every time -- he owed her that.

"We can't hide away, darlin'. Plus, Mis needs us just as much as we need each other. I'd love for Abbey to see Tuscany but not yet. When she's old enough. Besides, we have a bistro to run and I don't particularly want Jenny to pack up and move with us." he gave a bark of laughter and had a doggish look on his face before he composed himself once more. It was odd, he even felt like his Animagus sometimes.

"Oh, your're right. Hadn't thought about all that. No, when we go to Tuscany, we need to be alone. By ourselves. In some little villa by the sea, Making love, drinking wine, and taking long walks on the beach. Hiding away from all this horsecrap here in England with the wizarding world. We could leave it all behind. It sounds so perfect." She curled into him tightly, "Are you sure Jess can't just come in here and do the ceremony? I don't want to get up now or get dressed either one. Would he do it if we're naked?"

"Alright," she sighed, "Enough. We do have to get dressed. We are expected to make it to our own wedding. However, I bet, if I try hard enough, I can talk you into a shower for two. Couldn't I? It wil be very, very lonely in there without you." she kissed him very slowly and lovingly. Then she bounced up and went in to start the shower.
