But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Beyond the demon realms and what remains of the elemental plains exists a world. It’s a young land with many wonders, civilisations and mysteries that have yet to be discovered. Upon the great southern continent lies the city of Algemin Daim. From horizon to horizon the city looms, the largest metropolis that the world has ever seen. It’s a place where everyone, regardless of race, religion or creed can go in their search of good fortune and happiness. Though whether they find it in such a place is another matter.

Behind its great walls, the harbour side city thrives and continues to grow. Children squabble upon street corners while the poor beg for scraps or coin from whoever passes. Entertainers sing and dance bringing cheer to market squares and silently little pickpockets flit through the crowds applying their trade. The assassin’s watch from the shadows and the whores entice men from their doorways. From their island in city’s bay the pirates waltz through leaving a trail of havoc where ever they go.

High above the rabble the aristocrats bicker, reliving old arguments over and over, seemingly unaware of the living and breathing city around them. The military force of Legion guards the people, though treads the fine line between saviour and suppressors. A line which the wizards proclaim they have crossed one too many times.

It’s a melting pot of cultures where people can’t live with or without each other, where the balance is as delicate as ever. And like a shiny new toy, we hold this wicked world in the palm of our hand.

Algemin Daim is an intermediate to advanced fantasy game set in an alternate universe around the late 1700’s featuring a number of original races as well as pirates, guilds, wizards and many other exciting character types.
