What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Sammy was in need of a really bad sun tanning. So after classes one day she got into her bathing suit, two piece, and walked down to the lake. She made sure to be away from all the students who knew her. She summoned a beach chair and then laid a towel down on it and then layed down. She summoned a tanning foil and then put on her sunglasses and waited for the sun to do it's work.

Nathaniel was a playful type of person; he loved getting out there and socializing with his friends. But not today - today he just wanted to relax so he made his way down to the lake; to his dismay he saw a girl in bathing suit; seem to try and get a tan by the way she laid down there and held the tanning foil in her hand. "Trying to get a tan, huh?" he grinned as he came up close towards her, but not too close that it made her uncomfortable. He was lucky he didn't need a tan he already well tanned from going out and playing on the field all day long.

Sammy looked up at the person that was now talking to her and looking at her. She didn't know him or atleast she thought she didn't know him. She sat up and looked at him better without the sun glaring at her. "Oh um....yeah. I'm not disturbing you am i?" She ask him wanting to make sure that she wasn't in the way of anyone. Then again her in a two peice bathing suite would get in the way of anyone.

Nathaniel merely only chuckled as she ask if he was disturbing him; he shook his head and furrowed his eyebrows at her. "No, not at all. Am i disturbing you?" he asked her back with a hint of concernation in his eyes. He hoped that he was not disturbing her; she seem to be enjoying her tan by the look of it earlier, he felt guilty of disturbing her leisure time.

Sammy smiled as he asked her if he was disturbing her. They could have asked stupid questions like this all day, but that would be pointless. She was glad that she didn't disturb him though. "No your not disturbing me. My name is Samantha. It's nice to meet you." She said to him extending her right hand for him to shake it. Most wizards and witches around here don't really know that your suppose to shake it, odd.

Nat smirked at her, showing her a perfect set of white straight teeth at her. He was glad that he didn't disturb her too. She seemed so peaceful earlier. "Nathaniel but you can call me Nat or Nathan," he smiled shaking her hands and dropped his bag. Then crouched beside her to meet her height so that they didn't have to crane their neck just to see each other. One side of his mouth lifted into a smile. "Samantha is such a beautiful name, actually it my favorite."

Sammy smiled back up at him showing him her pearly white not so straight vampire teeth but not in a threatning way. She then smiled more when he kneeled down beside her. "Oh really I like my name to." She said to him looking into his beautiful eyes. She then looked away but not in an obvious way. She looked back at him making sure not to look into his eyes. "So what have you been up to, to bring you out here?" She asked him with curiosity in her voice.

Nathan burst out laughing but not in an uncomfortable and loud way. "It a good name," he repeated and nodded as he noticed her looking into his eyes. He couldn't help but stare right back and hold up this strange little eye contact that held up. A smile grew on his face and a shade of crimson red appeared onto his face as he looked away from her as he saw her lok away. "This is the only place that quite, all the other are crowded."

She smiled at him again, then thought about what he was saying. "Yeah I understand that. Even the library has been full lately. The professors have really been cracking down on the students. I guess their tired of so many students droping out." She said to him wondering if he had even heard about the drop outs yet.

"Well making them work harder doesn't really help reduce the number of people dropping out," smirked Nathan as he looked out at the lake and stared at the sunset. It was beautiful; his favorite time to the day. He looked back at her. "Don't you love the sunset?" he asked.
