Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

In the Forest at Night(James and Christabelle) Empty In the Forest at Night(James and Christabelle)

Alexa had just come back from a walk with her friends. Dusk had just fallen, and the sun was no more. She was sitting by the lake, running her fingers through the water. The ripples stretched out to the middle of the lake, and beyond. She was too transfixed by the water to realize that the moon had risen above the trees. Only when she felt a prickling sensation did she look up. When she saw the moon, she cursed herself for putting others in danger. She stood up, and ran into the forest, already feeling sharp points growing out of her fingers. James was not here to help her now.

Fortunately for her (yet not for him), James was at hand. He was reading underneath a tree by Shacklbolt's outdoor class, expecting the prof to come out any moment. This was actually an uncharacteristic mis-calculation on James' part- the Headmaster had a crazy habit of popping where ever he was unwanted. So James Wake had waited in vain. At least he'd finished his homework.

He stopped by the lake and sighed. Tonight was another full moon night. That kind of sucked. He had no fights, no hate, no anger to vent out. The moon gave him only a slight increase in power, due to his incomplete bite. His alchemic arm swung loosely at his side. He was watching the waters, when some movement caught his eye. Werewolf? Perhaps.

He whipped out his wand, and, feeling the power of the moon encroaching on his body, and leaped forward, chasing after the werewolf. Maybe THIS would be fun. For some reason, his powers gave him an advantage in a battle against a werewolf- he could control his actions, think things through, and use that power unlike most other werewolves. He may not have been as strong, but he had a good head on his shoulders. That was probably more than enough.

Alexa heard somebody pursuing her with her werewolf ears. One word was going through Alexa-werewolves mind. kill kill kill kill. She turned around. The Alexa part of her recognized James Wake. She wanted to scream out to James, tell him it was her, but she had no control. She charged with a roar.

That's right. Go ahead, come straight at me. Let's see what color you bleed. That last thought was a blood-curdling desire, a hunger. James ignored it however. He clapped his hands, letting the echo of skin meeting metal verberate through the trees. He slide his real arm across the forearm of his fake arm, feeling the surface ripple like rain water. In a matter of seconds, he had a blade extending from his wrist. His wand was disregarded in this battle- this was a test of strength and knowledge, and it felt exhilarating.

Alexa ran even faster towards James. Her claws were skimming over the gound. Saliva was flying from her mouth. She gave three more bounds, and launched herself at James. She extended her paws, closing in for the kill.

"Dumbass," he grinned, as he slid along the ground, his arm extended forward to cut the wolf. His boot raised itself, acting as a lever, connecting with the werewolf's body. As it launched itself at him, the weight of it resting on the sole of his boot. He altered the trajectory of the werewolf pushing it over him, the blade probably scraping the wolf's hide.

Alexa howled in pain. She felt the blade connect with her, and blood being drawn. For that very reason, she got even angrier. She stood up on two legs, about 3 feet higher than James. She howled at the moon, calling any other werewolves that might be around to help her. She then charged at James. And right before she got in blade-reach, she swerved to the right, and came from the side, knocking him over. She pinned him down. Who said animals could not plan and think?

Christabelle saw the mongrel and immediately pulled out her wand. "Stupid werewolf." she said as she cast the Homorphus Charm, which was the only charm known to cause a werewolf to revert to its human self. "You are too much of a fool Alexa. You shouldn't have ever crossed me." she said looking at her, "I could have been your best friend too." she laughed a little. As if she would have ever been best friends with a flea covered beast. "Stupefy."

Alexa was knocked over by the spell. She felt herself start to change; her claws were turning into fingernails, her hair was starting to grow back. And she was shrinking. She gave one last howl, and then the transformation was complete. She clambered up, backing away from Christabelle. This girl was not fooling around. She wanted to see if James was okay, but that would mean getting closer to the enemy. She felt around her pockets for a wand. Where was it? She must have dropped it while running to the forest. "What have you got against me? I've done nothing wrong!"

"Oh I have nothing against you." she said toying with her wand in her hand, "Just what you are." she stated as if it were nothing, "You're an infection dear...One that the world must be rid of. And soon before they let you harm anyone else." she said as she looked at the girl and pointed her wand, "Crucio."
