Background: Mei grew up in Bristol, living in a small terraced house with her two parents and sister. Her Mother, Pureblood Anna Zhang, is an Obliviator working in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, her Muggleborn Father works for the Department of Magical Transportation. Ever since her sister started Hogwarts she was really looking forward to going, taking up a habit of reading through her sisters schoolbooks in the Summer. She is quite clever for a witch her age, but finds subjects like Potions quite difficult, since she can be quite prone to knocking things over.
Short Roleplay:
Mei walked into the Hufflepuff/Gryffindor common room, grinning childishly as her eyes drank in all the little details. She had only been at Hogwarts for a couple of days, and it already felt like home. Mei took a seat in one of the armchairs, fidgeting with a strand of her hair as she eyed the people in the room. To her great relief most people she had met so far seemed really nice. She smiled contentedly as she half-closed her eyes. She loved it here in Hogwarts.
