The bad thing about it when you're living in a world of witches and wizards is that you can not own your car. Or you don't have any place where you can keep one.
Because if you have a car, everyone would immediately assume that this misuse of Muggle things, which can not be good.
For this reason, Nadia rented car whenever she needed.
It costs a lot, but she considered it is worth every penny to experience the feeling of driving fast.
Adrenaline, the manner in which the car obeys her wishes, the dominant feeling every time she change the speed .. these are ordinary things to live for.

In the other, a man from who she is getting a car already know her and she always gets a discount.
That was the case this time. After she paid and then sat down in a beautiful red car, sighed peacefully and all she wanted was to get out on the road.
She was driving for a long time, careful to stay away from the police and of course, that does not cause accident.
Just like that, because the moment of carelessness, did not see the man who is probably crossing the road.
She drove too fast, she did not know whether she will be able to stop.
She hit the brakes and speed rapidly decline, however, that may not be enough.
With screeched she stopped the car and then ran out wanting to check whether a person is hurt.
She was almost certain that she did not hut him, but had to check out.

"Sir, are you all right?" ran out of the car quickly and anxiously looked at the man.
At first glance, did not recognize her classmate, she had not seen him for eight years.

"Sir, are you alright?"

That morning, Henry had woken up with the distinct feeling that the world was after him. Not only had his best friend let that disastrous excuse for a girlfriend back into his life, but now the Order was tumultuous thanks to a new leader and the fact that Oliver had somehow relegated himself to second in command. Henry just wondered how long it would take for the ex-Leader to leave again, considering.

Henry wasn't the sort to wait for instructions, though. He had the distinct feeling that Gilbert Prichard was not at all who he claimed to be, and he didn't care if nobody wanted him to check it out. He was not at all the sort to listen to superiors, even if it would likely have gotten him out of trouble a good few times.

Of course, it was as he went to cross the road towards the Daily Prophet's offices that he realized the car had no intention of stopping. At least it was on the right side of the bloody road.

And that sarcastic train of thought was the last he had before he toppled over, cursing loudly. When she came out and asked that question, he glared at her and pushed himself up off of the street. Something in him sparked when he saw her, and Henry knew that he knew the woman from somewhere, he just couldn't place it after being so thoroughly knocked around.

"Y'know," he returned sarcastically, "I think I've seen better days."

One of the few times today, Nadia felt panic. She's not one of those girls who panic when they break a nail or something like that.
Therefore, when this girl feels panic, it is really something serious.
She looked at the man who was lying on the road.
Damn, did she really hit him so hard? He can sue her. Police will probably take her driver's license and then she can say goodbuy to a fast ride.

"I .. I'm sorry," she said uncertainly when she heard his seemingly sarcastic words.
As he stood up, she tried to estimate how much he is hurt. At first glance, there was no blood. After all, he got up by himself and therefore probably nothing is broken.
"I'm sorry, really. I .. I do not know how I did not see you. Oh God, I can not believe it happened" she shook her head.
"Are you hurt? I can take you to the hospital," she offered politely and sincerely concerned.
If she is in his place now that he hit her, she would send him to hell, that's for sure.

Still, she tried to be polite, maybe even avoid a lawsuit.
"I'm Nadia," she lend a hand, although absolutely she was not sure whether he will accept.

Henry watched her closely as she panicked and spluttered out apologies. It took time - enough to allow him a better look at her features. Yes, he recognized her. The fact that she was driving a car, and doing so as wildly has she had been, was surprising. But he obviously could not claim madness, because she was extending a hand towards him and when he took it, everything felt quite real. He wasn't imagining this, then.

So much for following Prichard. He supposed there was always next time, but the idea of waiting was not one he took kindly to no matter the circumstances.

"Y'know, for a Ravenclaw you drive like you've got some of my lion-y recklessness in you, Cavanah."

Henry lifted an eyebrow at her as he stood with her help. "No hospital necessary, thanks," he added as he released her hand to brush himself off. Several people in the area were staring at them, befuddled perhaps as to why he wasn't angrier than he seemed. They obviously did not know that his anger was best shown through his eyes than his words. Eloquence was not something he possessed - unless he counted when he was being smooth with someone he was interested in. Which he did, actually, so nevermind.

"I'll tell you what, though," he said, continuing to look around. Taking a step forward, Henry winced and looked down. His leg was going to seriously hate him for a while. "You can get us somewhere less Muggle-filled and sort out a healing spell where people won't freak out."

Wait, Ravenclaw?
When she heard these words, Nadia realized this guy is not just an ordinary muggle whom she mercilessly hit with her car. She looked at him one more time trying to figure out who the hell is he, and more importantly, how could he know which was her house at Hogwarts. Indeed, she left London as soon as she graduated, the chances that someone remembers or recognizes her were minimal.
However, when he called her Cavanah instead Nadia, all became clear.
Only a few people at school had a habit to call her by her last name, and one of those persons was Henry Tross.

Of course, she could not be sure, but suspicions were proven right when he said something about the lion's recklessness.
She grinned and looked at him.
"Who would have thought that I would hit you, Henry," she shook her head still smiling.

"Are you sure you do not want to go to the hospital? Maybe you're hurt. Oh" she blinked when she heard his words.
Of course, she is a witch. Hell, it is so easy to forget that sometimes. After all, he is not a muggle, so she can help him by herself.
Does she need to mention that she did not use magic almost eight years? No, it would probably only cause more panic.
After all, Nadia really wanted to spend some more time with him.

"Of course. Come on, I'll help you get into the car, of course, if you dare to drive with a crazy woman who tramples everything at her way?" she tried to pronounce these words seriously, but the smile appeared on her face.
She held out her hand, waiting for his answer.

Ah, so she did recognize him. Some part of him wanted to smirk, because he had always liked to think that he left an impression on people. Not just because he was a bit wild and loud. Henry liked to think he had looks on his side, too, but he wasn't that much of a jerk. He knew how to keep those thoughts to himself unless it would somehow benefit him.

In this case, he doubted it would help him.

She seemed surprised, and he found himself bemused. The only person he had ever known who forgot they could use magic? That was Maude, and that was because she almost never used it unless she had to. Was that the case for Nadia as well, now? How odd.

"Listen, darling," he began, wanting to get a message across before he trusted her further with his life. "I'm coming with you because of our time together at school. Not because I have a great deal of faith in your ability to drive a car."

With that, he tested out his leg again and winced. He had no choice but to use her help to get around to the left side of the car and get into the passenger seat. He was still bemused about the fact that the United Kingdom was one of those minority countries that drove on the wrong side of the road, but that was more of a passing thought as he strapped himself in. Once she settled in beside him, he turned to look at her.

"Do you know any places around here where we can stop in? Or should I give you directions to my flat? It isn't far."

For a few moments, Henry looked like he was completely lost in his thoughts. Nadia wanted to ask him what he was thinking about, but she did not know how much is still angry so she decided to be wisely silent.

Oh, great, he certainly realized that she does not use magic really often. Either that or on her head sprouted tentacles, according to his reaction.
"I mean, I lived as a muggle for years, I almost never use magic. But I can try, you know, I was an excellent student, remember? It can't be that hard." she smiled sweetly as a child and shrugged.
Surely she can remember that simpe spell.

She frowned when she heard his words and then shook her head.
"Henry Tross, despite your opinion, I'm an excellent driver. Now I had fun, and you were very careless on the road," she shrugged, really offended by comments about driving. She drives better than she was breathing, she will prove him that once, but not now.

She helped him to get into the car and then went to the right side of the car and sat down.
She was totally unaccustomed to the drawing on the wrong side of the road.
When she sat down, turned on the car and looked at him.
"I'm not sure, I do not know London very well. But I think this is a fairly urban area, we won't  find privacy here," she shook her head, looking ahead to a series of cafes and boutiques.

Henry did remember. She had been a Ravenclaw, through and through, so there was no arguing with that. "If all else fails," he replied lightly, "I can re-teach your the spell or something. Should be fine."

All he cared about, really, was getting sorted out so he could go back to what he had been planning to do that day. Obviously, he would have to find another time to do it, but that could be accomplished quite easily. His schedule was incredibly flexible, after all. Being the head of a department did that for you.

He almost had the audacity to laugh at her retaliation, but instead he just smirked that pleased smirk of his, rather impressed by her refusal to take his insults lying down. Holding a hand up in a show of surrender, Henry shook his head and let his smirk turn into a proper smile. "Whatever you say, love."

At her words he lifted a shoulder in a shrug and tried to readjust the way he was sitting to take some pressure off of his leg. "We'll go to mine, then," he replied. "It just a couple streets down and to the right."

He pointed and offered directions as they drove, mixing in a question between he guidance. "If you aren't used to driving in London, what exactly are you doing back here?"

She bit her lip before she smiled and nodded.
"Yes, of course. I'm sure there will be no problems," she shrugged, trying to look calm even if she was everything except calm.
Why doesn't he want to be like all men and ask her to give him first aid as Muggles? She knows very well hot to do that.

While takeing car to the road she looked at him like she was apologizing "I hope you did not have some obligation prompt reviews. You can always say that one crazy girl hit you by car," she joked and shook her head.

Love. So strange word, at least when he says it.
Once upon a time, when they were still in school, Nadia would have been in seventh place to the haze hear that word from him.
However, after so many years, is not far away from it.
However, she only shook her head, intentionally suddenly put the throttle and headed down the street, taking care not to miss the turn on which he stated.

Nadia had never passed through this part of town, she always held the main street to know the way back. She hoped she will be able to return home later, probably has a map of the city somewhere in the car.

She looked at him when she heard the question. For a moment, frowned as she thought about the answer.
Indeed, what is she doing here?
"Well, I guess we all sooner or later return to our roots," she shrugged, because this is really the best answer she could offer to him now, or ever.
She looked straight ahead as she changed speeds.
"Are you here from the time we left the school? Have you ever moved somewhere?" she asked casually to avoid awkward silence.

Henry looked at Nadia sharply as she stepped on the pedal, not expecting her to take off like that. "No, my plans for today weren't that important. More a matter of my just coming up with an idea and going for it. That's sort of just how I operate these days," he concluded with a shrug.

He couldn't argue with her reasoning, really, though his answer was about as informational as hers, though perhaps a bit more so, he felt. "I work at the Ministry. It's much easier to live here in London. I've done some traveling with my mates or my father and brother, though much less often these days. Had a lot of work to do. Do you work in the area then?"

She didn't have much time to answer, though, considering they were pulling up to his apartment complex as he asked the question. He directed her to a lot that he could ensure she wouldn't have to pay the parking fee for, and began leading the way to the lift that would take them up to his floor, the ninth one. Once he hobbled his way over to the lift and pressed the button, he waited for her to join him before allowing the doors to close, looking her way to see how much she was going to tell him about her career.

The lift opened soon after, and he shuffled down to his flat number, unlocking the door and gesturing for her to go ahead first. It wasn't particularly large, his flat, but it was tidy and warm, the effect brought on in part by the heating but also by the dark-yet-cozy colors he had used to decorate the place. He had a clear Gryffindor dormitory influence, but it reminded him of the beach house in Wales that his mother would take Henry and his brother to when she was fed up with their dad's Death Eater behaviors.

"Not the greatest," he admitted as he pushed the door closed behind them, "but I'm happy enough with it. Sit wherever you'd like."
