You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war Empty You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war

Post by Alejandro Faulkner Fri Jan 08, 2016 10:00 pm

Today, Alejandro had more job than usual.
He had to change the memory dozens of Muggles who found themselves at the wrong time in the wrong place, at the moment when some young and reckless witch trying to bewitch the dog to stop barking.
It's so harmless, but the people as she creates a lot of work, especially after the arrival of the documentation from the field, which is even more depressing than the changing of memory.
He didn't finish with work until eight o'clock, which is three hours longer than usual.
Because a lot of work forgot to call the nanny and say her he will be late, and the old woman already worried and Jasmin was crying because she is not used to her father coming home so late.

However, arrived and all felt relieved. Jasmine strongly hugged him and Alejandro laughed tiredly kissing a little girl on the forehead.
"Well, well, so you should be ready for bed sunshine, it's very late," he looked at the girl, and she smiled innocently. One her smile was the cure for all his problems, fatigue almost completely disappeared and the sun is shining on his house.
"I was waiting for you, Daddy," the girl replied in a low, squeaky voice and looked at the floor as if she was ashamed of her behavior. Alejandro is always used to say that she is too mature for her age. He shook his head and then lifted her in his arms and spin her and that caused the girl's laughter again.

"I'm going to take a shower, and then we'll put you to bed, okay?"

"Yes, Daddy," Jasmin laughed and Alejandro put her down and went to the bathroom on the first floor which is connected with his room.
He pulled off his clothes and stood under the beam of ice water, which helped him to little wake up.
After about fifteen minutes, went from a large shower cubicle and dressed.
When he came down to the living room, Jasmin was already asleep on the big leather couch.

"She fell asleep Mr. Faulkner, she did not want to go to bed until you return. If you do not need me anymore, I will go home. Dinner's in the kitchen."
Alejandro looked at the old woman and smiled gratefully.
"Thank you, Marina. You can go. Oh, tomorrow's my day off so you do not have to come, I planned to spend the day with Jasmin" the old woman smiled and then quietly left the apartment.

Alejandro carefully picked up Jasmin which only slightly stirred but did not wake up, so he took her to the floor in her room.
He carefully put down the girl to bed and then sat down beside her and a few moments he watched as she slept peacefully.
That child still does not know anything about the world in which she lives.
Every day, she is more and more like her mother and Alejandro knew it would soon be a day when he has to explain to Jasmin what happened to her mother. For now, he has never mentioned Katrien, but will be pleased to tell Jasmin that her mother loved her a lot and that she never wanted to leave them.
He kissed her on the forehead, then came out of her room, closing the door behind him and went back into the living room.
Since he was not in the mood to eat from a large chest of drawers pulled out a bottle of whiskey and poured a little into a glass.
He brought bottle and glass with him and put it on the table and sat down on the couch.
From thought he was startled by strange sound, like a small explosion.
He turned toward the sound source and the next moment he stood up and glass fell from his hand with the sound of breaking onto the floor.

It is not possible.

Okay, it finally happened.

Hallucinating.

Maybe he's just too tired, or simply lost his mind.

Before him stood a girl, actualy woman who looks exactly like his dead wife.
Well, not exactly the same, this hass a little more tattoos and instead of beautiful long blond hair, had short hair, which color?

"Katrien?" he said this like a sigh and a prayer, then blinked a couple of times but the ghost did not disappear. She just stood there and watched him silently.

You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war Empty Re: You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war

(OOC. This one is bad, sorry. But really, old woman Marina?)

This is a bad idea.

Eviolette was nervously pacing around Lizzie apartment with piece of paper crumpled in her hand. No, this wasn't bad idea, it was the worst idea she could think of, but she promised to herself she'll do it. Today. Now.

Ev asked Imogen to leave her alone half an hour ago, although she was glad to be back in her sister's company, she was too nervous to enjoy it now. She felt just how she thought soldiers feel before going into a battle, not surprisingly, because she was ready to go into a battle of her own soon. They might not have guns and bombs, but sometimes simple words hurt more.

She took few deep breaths and pulled her coat on. Glancing at the giant pink teddy bear in the corner, wrapped in decorative paper, she decided she won't take it tonight, there will be another day for it, or at least she hoped it will be.

Unfolding the paper she read the address written on it a couple of times, memorizing it, then put the paper into pocket of her coat, she doubted she'll need it anymore but she won't take chances of loosing it. Thinking about the address she just read, she stepped forward and disappeared in bundle of bright light.

She couldn't look around when some strange room materialized around her because her eyes were glued for only two persons beside her, her daughter, sleeping on the couch, and her husband, standing beside the couch. Two persons whose lifes she left long time ago, and she now returned to, what? Ruin them once more? This is a mistake. They're happy without her.

„Katrien?“ Hearing her name, her real name stopped her from aparating back to Elizabeth's apartment. She raised her chin so she could look him in eyes wondering if they're still the same deep blue colour.

„Alejandro.“ Eviolette whispered, not like a question, but like acknowledgment.

You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war Empty Re: You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war

Post by Alejandro Faulkner Sat Jan 09, 2016 5:18 pm

The initial shock was replaced with panicky laught.
It was ringing laughter that filled the entire room.
Alejandro barely managed to settle down so as not to wake Jasmin who was sleeping peacefully floor above him.

"I can not believe I finally lost my mind!" he shook his head, looking once more at the ghost in front of him.
"Although," he said as she walked slowly toward her "Until now, while I was thinking about you, you were always just like before, now you look a lot different. Maybe it's the repercussions caused by alcohol."

He approached her, hoping that his brain will understand that this is a hallucination when his hand passes through the air in a place where a ghost is.
However, that was not a smart move. It just caused another shock.
His hand did not pass through the air, instead rested on her cheek.

It is not possible.
The dead can not revive, not even in their world.
Perhaps sisters Blackburn finally crossed the border and with dark magic somehow bring her back in life.

No no no.
This can not be real.
He's crazy.
He will end in St. Mungo among other lunatics and his daughter will grow up without both parents.
Well, Imogen and Beth will certainly take good care of her.
He finally gave up, all hell, this is all just in his head.
He pulled a ghost in the form of his wife in his arms. His hug was strong as never before and he leaned his head on her shoulder and the first time after her death, he began to cry.

"Kat, I miss you so much. And finally, I lost my mind, because you seem so real now, although this is certainly a hallucination," he whispered softly along her neck.
She even smelled the same as before. He put his arms around her waist and just stood there, enjoying in what happens, no matter how unreal it is.

You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war Empty Re: You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war

Post by Katrien Faulkner Sat Jan 09, 2016 8:34 pm

She bit her lip while watching Alejandro struggling with himself, that was the only way to keep it from trembling, and eventually breaking into tears. Before she met him, before she married him Alejandro was funny, loyal, caring, probably the best person have she ever met. Watching him now she couldn't see not even glimpses of person he used to be.

And the reason for that hurt the most. Kat. Herself. She could hear so much pain in that one syllable to regret the day she met him. Maybe, if he never met her, he could have live happy normal life, he could have been married and have a bunch of kids, Ev swallowed the lump in her throat, he wouldn't live a life of widowed father whose wife died in fire three years ago, he wouldn't need to raise their daughter alone if she was somebody else. But she wasn't, she was Katrien, and ruining things was the thing she did the best. She even managed to break him, obviously.

Standing there was hard, deciding whether she need to stay or turn around and run was even harder. Seeing him this way and knowing she's the main, the only reason he's acting like that tore her heart in little pieces. Every time she asked about him both Lizzie and Mo would tell her he's alright, maybe a little sadder than he used to be, but all in all he was alright and he'd get over her soon, yet nothing prepared her for this.

Alejandro decided for her, he crossed the room in a few steps and before she could do anything, aparate or run, she found herself crushed in his hug. His hug felt the same like one they shared at their wedding, right after the two of them high-fived each other when the priest told Alejandro he could kiss his wife, or in their case, give her a high-five then hug her. They were silly, but thinking about that always made her smile, even this time, although her smile was one of sad ones.

"Alejandro, I can't breathe." She freed herself from his grip and took a step back, turning to the side so he couldn't see she wiped away that one tear that fell down her cheek, inhaled and turned back to him, waiting. For something, anything.

You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war Empty Re: You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war

Post by Alejandro Faulkner Sat Jan 09, 2016 9:01 pm

Alejandro had long fought with himself, his mind began to work soon and it was like as if he suddenly returned.
He hugged her. She's alive.
When she pulled away from him, still he felt the warmth of her body against his. He could not get that only in his head.
This morning he was fine, he could not suddenly lose hist mind tonight.

"Wait a minute," he said before he stepped away from her a few more steps. His blue eyes carefully looked at her, now on a reasonably even judgmental.
"How are you alive? Damn Katrien, I buried your body, how you stand here in my house?" looked at her waiting for an answer.

She simply silent and stared at him. Her eyes were full of tears, just like his few moments ago.
"Answer me," he said seriously, taking her hand. "How can you stand here when you should be dead? Your sisters are finally completely turned to the dark magic and somehow bring you back to life or what?" he thought about all the possible solutions without taking his eyes off her.

"Or someone just joking with me? You're metamorphagus, do not you? Show your true face, now! This is not funny! No one can joke about my dead wife, okay?" he drew his wand and pointed it at her. Why does not warp? He wants, HE HAS TO SEE who it really is.

Everything stopped when he heard footsteps. Someone came down the stairs. Hell,he awake Jasmin.
"Daddy?" he heard her quiet and sleepy voice.
"Who's there? Who are you yelling to?" he looked at the girl. He was about to tell her to go to her room, do not go down but it was too late.
Jasmin came running up to him.
"It's all right Jasmin, this is a friend of mine. Why do not you lay here and wait for dad while I talk to this woman in the kitchen?" he looked at his daughter as she lie on the couch.
"Okay, Daddy, come back soon," Jasmin lay down on the bed and he showed the girl to follow him into the kitchen.

You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war Empty Re: You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war

Post by Katrien Faulkner Sat Jan 16, 2016 3:32 pm

(OOC. It's short and weird. I accidentaly deleted original reply so this was rewritten one, and I don't like it as much as original. :S)

"Actually, that's not entirely true. You buried a coffin. No one checked if I was in the coffin." It was rude thing to say, but it was necessary. Although it sounded like verbal slap he needed to hear it, maybe that will make him wake up from this state of his. In her mind, Eviolette Blackburn was doing him a favour.

"I'm here, alive and completely healthy." She stated once again, trying to pass that wall of pain and sadness he built all around himself. "It was true there was a fire, and it was also true I was in it, but I was barely hurt, let alone dead." This part was true, she was there and she was hurt, yet she wasn't passer but the very same person that lit the fire. She burned her hand pretty badly in the process, but after medical treatment and couple of potions the burn completely disappeared, without leaving even a mark.

Eviolette turned and gazed at him, with eyes empty of all the feelings she buried deep inside long time ago. "Don't pull my family into this. No one knew I'm alive. It was mine decision only." She lied effortlessly because she couldn't tell him the truth, she already hurt him so much and she didn't want to expand his wound even more. Both her sisters knew she's alive, as well as her oldest brother. Elizabeth even helped her to plan her own funeral, and she lived in Balfour's guest room before she returned to Sweden. They were all involved, all but Alejandro.

She turned when she heard girl's voice. "Jasmin." A whisper escaped before she could stop it as the tears that left her eyes a minute before now returned with full force while she watched little girl, their little girl approaching Alejandro. Ev bit her lip watching their conversation wishing she never left once again, he seemed like a wonderful dad, yet she expected nothing more from him considering he was the best person she ever met.

You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war Empty Re: You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war

Post by Alejandro Faulkner Sat Jan 16, 2016 4:22 pm

(it's okay odbojkašice, I know what happened with the first one)

This was a slap in his face or like poured ice water. He looked into her with eyes full of anger and hatred.
"Elizabeth said it had nothing left to bury! We buried a coffin full of ashes because I thought that still deserve to say goodbye to you!" he shook his head and then began to laugh.
It was the smile in crisis situations that you can not control, you have no strength to cry or scream, and you start to laugh, because laughter is the only thing that remains.
He shook his head, unable to speak a word.
Here she is, his beloved wife for whom he suffered for so many years is here, alive and well. All these years he suffered for her, built a mental wall that helped him to get away from everything except Jasmin, suffered for a woman who was alive and well, who knows where.

"Oh, okay. So it was your only decision to fake your own death to destroy this family?" he shook his head, laughing even more.
"Damn Katrien, was I so bad husband? Even if I did, there is something called divorce! You did not have to fake death and so destroy everything around you!" looked at her with disgust.
Yes, for the first time, Alejandro felt disgust toward his wife.
Anger, resentment, it was mixed, he felt like it would burst from so much emotion.
But worst of all, what hurt the most is the fact that now Alejandro wants that she is really dead.

"I'll be back in a moment sweetheart, then you can sleep with me, and recount to me that wonderful story you made up," laughed the girl and kissed her on the forehead and then turned to Ev.
Hepushed her in the kitchen, he did not care whether it hurts or something, now he just wanted to hide his little daughter from this woman.
"To me you're dead," he said quietly when they finally arrive in the kitchen. Every word he spoke quietly and cold, almost as if it is devoid of all emotion.
"I do not want to see you again, okay? Neither you nor your sisters. If any of you even went to the house, Jasmin and I will left this house, no one will know where we are," he looked at her again.
"Don't looking for us. I want to Jasmin thinks that her mother loved her and died in that fire, certainly don't say that her mother insensitive faked her own death just to make us leave. I'm serious Katrien, I do not want to see you around my family."
He turned his back but then again turned to her.
"Tell your sister Imogen to stay away from my girlfriend. Saphira is a wonderful woman, Jasmin loves her, stay away from her"

You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war Empty Re: You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war

Post by Katrien Faulkner Sun Jan 17, 2016 1:01 pm

(ovaj je kratak i ružan)
"Elizabeth thought there was nothing to bury. She found the house burned to the ground so there really wasn't anything to bury. She believed I was dead, I made her believe that." Ev felt like it was important to point even more it's all her doing, that way her sister would be completely innocent and she needed him thinking that. If he needed a person to blame, it should be her, not Elizabeth, not Imogen or any other Blackburn, she was the one to blame and she accepted that blame.

"We're getting somewhere, finally." She smiled bitterly, it will be easier to make him hate her than she expected, he probably won't need her help at all. Why did he marry her at the first place? It was a question with answer worth one million of pounds. "I can't tell you my reasons, but leaving was necessarily thing to do, don't doubt it." She wouldn't left if there was any other way out of situation she's gotten herself into.

Eviolette crossed the room in few steps looking him in the eyes. "I might have left, but I'm still her mother, you can't forbid me to see my own daughter, so let me give you an advice – don't do that. You really don't want to deal with consequences that decision may cause." She ignored the fact that she wouldn't win a title of mother of the year after abandoning her child like that, but that was needed to be done to keep her child safe, no matter how much she hated it. "I didn't come back for you. I know you continued your life and that was what I wanted for you, I came back for Jasmin, and I'm not leaving." Not this time, at least she hoped so.

(napokon odustajemo od engleskog u zagradama? like it
btw ako ti išta znači ni ja ne volim svoj post)

"I do not care! You're saying all these years they thought you are dead or she in the meantime found out?" he shook his head, laughing again.
"I do not know anything and I do not want to know, I just want you to out of our lifes, that's what you know the best!" looked at her angrily. Not for a moment did not believe that her sister does not know anything, so stupid and transparent lie.

"Leaving the family can not possibly be necessary!" looked at her angrily.
"If there was a problem we could solve it together! Damn Katrien I loved you and still love you, do not pretend as if the departure was the only option!" he shook his head, looking at her angrily.
Each medal really has two sides.
He knew it, and knowing is that what hurt the most, he loves her as much as he hates her.

He looked at her and started to laugh again.
"It is too late to act like a caring mother Katrien! And do not you dare" grabbed her arms and put her closer to him, he could feel her breath on his face as he spoke these words quietly, "do not you dare threaten me. You do not have any rights. You've lost Jasmin the day you faked your own death and left our daughter. " pushed her sharply from himself looking at her now really angry.
All comments about him, he could bear it, but when it all intervened Jasmin, then actually crossed the border.
"My daughter," said the first two words loudly, "you'll never see again. Now I'm going to ask you to go alone, I go to my room with my daughter. You better not be here when I get back!" once again he glared at her before he went into the living room.
"Come on baby" raised the girl and smiled at her.
"Daddy, who was that?" Jasmin asked interested.
"No one essential dear, just an old acquaintance, you will not see her again," laughed at the girl and kissed her on the cheek while everything in him screaming.

You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war Empty Re: You and I go hard at each other like we’re going to war

Post by Katrien Faulkner Sat Jan 23, 2016 9:12 pm

"I haven't told that. I said they thought I was dead. They found out I am alive when I wanted of them to find out, as a matter of fact, they found out yesterday." She shifted from one leg to another while listening Alejandro, she loved him, she really did, but Merlin knows she won't let him to boss her around. "You can't order me to stay away from Jasmin. She might be your daughter too, but I gave birth to her. She's my child and you can't change it. Seven days. You have seven days to tell her, or I'll do it myself."

"Some problems simply can't be solved, it doesn't matter how large group of people is trying to find solution. Sometimes there just isn't one." She replied matter of factly. Eviolette understood him and understood his reasons for being angry at her, yet anger usually left people blind with all the boiling blood doing weird things to their brains so she didn't even think about getting back and agreeing with him. A few years ago she was forced to choose between leaving her family or staying with them and risk finding them all dead, she chose the right option, she thought, and she won't let Alejandro win this argument.

Seeing him laughing she slapped him, only to stap back with shocked face expression and widened eyes a second after. Eviolette didn't plan to do that, didn't plan to hurt him again, yet she just did it and it felt horrible. "I despise you." She whispered looking at him without blinking with tears glistening in her eyes, "I regret getting married for you. I regret meeting you. If I could only change past so I never met you." The words were spoken in one breath and she regretted saying the immediately as she saw Alejandro turning and leaving the room, before ordering her to leave. That. Will. Not. Happen. It's their house. They bought it together when they found out they're expecting a baby, it should have been happy family home with bunch of kids running around. Instead of that, a house was now a home to a man who hated her, and a daughter that had no idea Ev is her mother. Beautiful. Just beautiful. Eviolette spotted a bottle of something alcoholic on the counter and walked around to get it. Opening it she took a gulp straight from the bottle and when the pain passed, she drank again, her goal was making ache in her chest disappear.
